A very fine version of this song. It's sad they were underrated dispite their talent. This particular song they blew it right out of the water. They were known mainly for using an electronic piano in most of their songs. That's what gave them their unique sound.
this is one group that's so talented with their own unique kind of music, very distinct from the beatles and other bands of their era. i like their style of music...i was newly-born tho during their heyday...
@@patrickherrig6488 they were the first ones to record it in those days when you wrote songs that were really good you tried to push them off on other bands so you could have your own songs on the radio especially if you weren't unknown name at the time
I love that the Zombies covered this song, the only time I've ever heard it sung by a man. The emotions expressed in the lyrics transcend gender. Very beautiful.
The Beatles played this during performances in 1962 (with John Lennon on lead vocals), but they never recorded it. Would have been very interesting to hear.
Mariel i agree with you ,, we had such a diverse choice of talent , it was their for the asking clothes , hair , perfume , shoes jobs money a great figure were all the rave xx long live the 60s era We were their xxJane xx
@@milkshakebabies2010 It was that sort of song written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin. By the time she recorded it for her album Tapestry it had changed from a poppy tune like this to a ballad to a failing marriage. th-cam.com/video/GLA7sanwnN8/w-d-xo.html
Bom dia RJ!!! Bom dia Brasil!!!! Obrigado !!! Por causa desses grupos virei fã dessas músicas!!! Valeu mesmo!!!!
Carole King wrote it, and the Shirelles released it in November 1960. Carole was only 18 then, The "B" side to the Shirelles' record was "Boys", later done by The Beatles on their "Please Please Me" album in 1963. That would be the first Beatles record featuring Ringo (who had also performed it with Rory Storm & The Hurricanes before joining The Beatles) on vocals.
It's good. But have a listen to the Shirelles when they had Sounds incorporated as the backing group. You can find it on here if you search for "The Shirelles - Will You Love Me Tomorrow (Live, 1964)". It has the beat and melody of this version but has a certain rawness about it which I like very much.
I think they probably had a lot of competition to compeat with, Beatles, Stones, and the like. I don't think anyone who listened, miss that the were a great talent. This is a Carole King song, one of her many great tunes.
The best live group I have ever seen, (In the 60s) I saw the with A Dick Clark CAravan of Stars. Searchers were top bill. The Zombies whupped them good! They stole the show. Real R&B
I've always been a big fan of this song, I remember back when I was real big into heavy metal and I heard rainbows live first and of this for a very long time that was my favorite version but this just incredible
@StephanAOTTOl They'll never get or understand the beauty of these pieces. Simplicity in it's most elegant form. Love it. I'm 36. I remember everyhing from 1978 until now. I've got a rare photographic memory. Only one in 10,000,000 have it. I went through the rap, disco, punk, new wave, heavy metal, and nothing compares to the mid 60's power pop and music from 1964-1967. Best MUSIC EVER!!! Sorry, Buddy Holly. You just didn't last long enough to do your best work.
I can remember some songs by The Zombies but I only recently began listening to them and am surprised they did not go any farther. They sound uncommonly tasteful, crisp original and even soulful.
I wish my twin sister and i could have sung harmonies on this classic ,, The zombies would have had a treat , we would have blended in rather nicely xx What A GENIUS BAND X jANE X
I LOVE the zombies. I got all the great music in the 80s. 50s and 60s music from when my parents were kids...skip most of the 70s lol then the 80s and some 90s.
I know I responded before to your comment but I feel it is necessary to say that the word N-A-I-V-E is a perfect description. The world in the sixties was just as complex as it is today.Good insight on your part.
HENRYi never like others singing some one elses songs , however the Zombies do a really fine job ,,,the harmonies and voices do justice with out a doubt xx Jane x
@StephanAOTTOl COVERS YESSSSS!!!! thats exactly what the world of today needs! covers of music from back in the day, thatll influence tons of new artists bringing back a nostalgic wave of the summer of love an shit. greatest idea ever!
Zombies = criminally underrated. A bigger piece of the modern audience needs to discover/rediscover them NOWWWW.
Totally agree! Everything they did was scintillating.
Zombies were so very much ahead of their time. Thanks for the memories, guys! (70 next year.)
Saw this band centuries ago when I was a kid. Colin Blunstone STILL sounds good!
Don't forget Rod Argent too!!!!!!
Colin Blunstone has a hell of a voice. My favorite Zombies song is Tell Her No. Hugely underrated group
It's my second fav. "Time of the Season" #1 for me.
Very cool that Argent (on piano) and Atkinson (guitar) played the lead together-note for note.
Don't worry, kids like me will keep all of this going and pass it on to our children and grandchildren when we grow up.
People in the 60s had really good music.
@@bekindistthe best music
I hope this never dies. Im 28 but I love the 60's.
Amen to that!
You cool man!
Played this Song with my bands in 1962-1968.
@Hello Claude how are you doing
Remarkable how the vocal sound and musical style of Elvis Costello derives from this rendition. This performance is a lasting treasure.
A very fine version of this song. It's sad they were underrated dispite their talent. This particular song they blew it right out of the water. They were known mainly for using an electronic piano in most of their songs. That's what gave them their unique sound.

The zombies decca singles were all superb even the b sides.exept tell her no that Was a lemon oddessy was their version of Pepper.
It's 2022 and still in love with Colin's voice... The Zombies were seriously under rated
One of the many great Carole King songs of the early 60s. Nice version.
The Shirelles released it in 61, Carole King is just a cover.
Carole King wrote it.

The Zombies were a fantastic group - well ahead of their time.

I love this song, I don't care who does it as long as the integrity is kept. I love this version👍🏼❤️

Think this is as close we'll ever get to hearing a 60's British rock group sing this song. It's splendid at that.
Ben Kleschinsky indeed very very nice
Yeah, I’d love to hear the Beatles sing this.
Wow! Never heard before. The best version ever!
Will you still love me tomorrow..
Great song. Beautiful..!
listening to them is always pleasurable, makes you long for those times again to come..
Normally I dont like cover versions, they sound worse than the originals but this sounded good.
I really like this version.

Saw them last night in Portland. They were fantastic.
I really love this version! Definitely love the guitar solo in this. They did a fantastic cover.
Paul Atkinson. Very underrated. Excellent pop-up solos all over the place throughout the Zombies' career.
