Hey, this looks pretty good! I like the printed coins, but I have to wonder why they put two of them in there. Normally you get one for defeating the small ones, and three for the huge ones.
It's a shame there's no scanner code tile included that would add some playability with the interactive figures. There was in the other display sets such as the NES and Bowser.
I thought it looked cool ... Then bummed that it seems to be on back order on Lego. But after seeing this video and some others showing the "Top Heavy" issues, I don't think I want to get it at all now!! Thanx for the video and info!!
I’m getting this for my son for Christmas; he will love it. Agreed that $60 feels a little high. I’d buy it either way but hopefully I can get it closer to $50.
I think the designers should of put a tuning mechanism in there, that would allow the Piranha Planr to slowly bob up and down. The trap door seems lazy. 😏
@@NooceneSounds Red socket connectors in the newer style are nice to get, but mainly white cams, green 2l beam w/ ball at end and also red 2l beam w/ x-axle holes and ball at an angle are the really awesome ones. Oh and dark pink half bushings are cute too
So expensive for such a small set. I guess there's a Mario Tax to join the Star Wars tax to make sets way harder on our bank accounts than they should be.
I bought this kit because I love carnivorous plants. I don’t know anything about Mario Bros. I wish that the mouth of the plant would have an insect that it eats! What do gold coins have to do with plants that truly eat bugs?
In the mario games, the piranha plant is a common enemy. When defeated, it drops gold coins, a collectible currency in the games. Piranha plants aren't known to eat bugs. Rather, they try to eat mario.

Honestly, this might be the only Super Mario set I buy.
Great addiction to the botanical collection😃

Or they could’ve gone with a blue coin from sm64

It looks like a great base for an Audrey II MOC! (Little Shop of Horrors).
That's why I'm here 😂 I want to see if it would be properly sized to consume a minifigure
LOL at 1:58 when a brick popped off… 😂
This happens if you don't follow the instructions :)
Great review. You almost changed my mind. Almost, since I definatly ran out of space.
The set looks really good, maybe a little more then i would pay. But overall it looks good.
very cute, but the price is a bit much
Yeah
Great addition to my gaming collectibles shelf. And not too big either.

Any simple creative fixes for locking the stem in place so it's not so top-heavy, and more balanced?

Great review Racingbrick!
i got a pirahana plant desk lamp already and this set only seems to have 1 play feature so i think im going to give this set a miss
I love your videos !!!!!!
Would you be able to review the 8436 I would love to see how it works.
Funny how Bing got actually generated two different builds of the pink car, the one on the box is different from the built one
Looks cool! I like it!
Hi racing brick can you fit Lego super Mario in the pipe, if you take out the piranha plant?
No, Mario doesn't fit, unless you remove the whole support for the plant
looks great but really disappointed about the balance issues. will probably skip unless someone figures out a fix on rebrickable or something.
Probably just going to have to put it on a big baseplate
I love it!!
Cool enough, but for 'boncle mocists like myself this set is godlike!
because of the red sockets?
2:37 That stage of the build kinda reminds me of the jaws on Fenrakk/Kardas
I was thinking of Gahdok! @@Ignik208

@@NooceneSounds That's probably an even better connection to make!
Under 5 min. Great video review.
I love Mario but I’m a speed champions and technic fan
This looks to small for price
Am I only one who thought about that EA video game?😂
Hi
It's too bad it's sold out everywhere

Well said

day 2 of asking for CaDA V12 Hypercar C61053W review
I think you can stop requesting that one. I'll make a video about the Alfa Romeo F1 set but that's all for a while now.
thanks for informing me :)
