I have a galvanic isolator on my boat, and I wondered whether it was fail safe. I asked the company making the product, and they said that the product used two set of diodes, and if one failed, the second would insure it continues working. I my opinion, this means that the product isn't fail safe, since the second set of diodes might also fail, living the circuit open. Is that a sensible guess?
Hello Nigel und Jan, I'm having a problem with Stray current on my boat. It's a Jeanneau Merry Fisher 895 with outboard motor.Would a Isolation transformer help my problem?Nice Greeting from Castrop-Rauxel Germany Adam Barnes

Can you recommend an experienced electrician to test my boat in the St Augustine area? So hard to find someone with this experience.
