6:00 The layered view of the components of a tear-downed is really cool. I actually hope that you can do this again. Sometimes the manufacturers will do this in a trade show, to show case the insides of a device. Of course, the device is put in a glass box in a trade show.
I had to replace the charge port, after successfully doing this I made sure that it charged ok before putting the back on the phone. I later discovered that the speaker did not work. What did I do wrong when reassembling the speaker assembly? Does it have a cable that did not get plugged in?
Thank you, can you give me your advice about....s22+ (snapdragon) vs s21 ultra (exynos), I've seen the s22+ processor is very very much higher than the Exynos processor, but the question is, are the s22+ cameras really comparable to flagship phones?
You're welcome. Hmm.. I would probably go with the S22+. I feel the camera on the S22+ would not be too far behind and would rather get the better processor.
You can get the charger port itself or the entire sub board with the charger port soldered to it at these links: www.mobilesentrix.com/charging-port-only-for-motorola-g-power-2022-one-vision-p50-xt1970 and www.mobilesentrix.com/charging-port-with-pcb-board-for-motorola-moto-g-stylus-xt2211-2-2022
Thanks for the video. Do you know where the NFC chip is? Moto spec says this phone includes NFC. I'm hoping it's near the top of the phone, because on my Pixel 4a it's in the middle and is basically unusable because it gets confused by the cards in my phone wallet.
no, its for the antenna. Make sure your sub board/charger port board is seated properly in place, since the contacts from the sub board need to touch the gold contacts on the vibrator flex cable to give it power.
Amazing video. I just replaced my screen! I had 2 extra screws on the top, but everything else was so helpful. I was mostly successful... the only thing not working - I don't have a front and back camera now. Thoughts as to what I missed?
Well, no luck. I took it apart and reattached the top camera. Still black. :-( I did notice a break in the board, top right, around the camera. Its a little thin "L" shape. Maybe that's it? Any suggestions?
Would be hard to say, Just to be safe I wouldn't recommend using that battery. Batteries tend to heat up and swell during use, which can cause a problem if there is a hole. Better to replace the battery than have it catch fire and get injured or lose all your data etc.
i need to replace mine its crack and i think i can replace it with no problem..but i can not find a lcd with frame and this videos do not show how to removed the frame...do you have a video on the frame removal..ttanks a lot for your help...this videos help a lot i have replace many lcds by looking on this videos.
Hi, when you took the phone apart, the lcd is just held on with adhesive. Just heat it it up and pry it off. Aside from that you would just need to add new adhesive and re apply the new screen to the frame. You can watch this video on adhesive: th-cam.com/video/T4iiPUIM7-Y/w-d-xo.html
Make sure its the same year model, since there are different year versions of this phone, in addition to one being 5G and one not etc. The sim tray needs to be removed because if not, it will not allow the motherboard to be lifted out.
You may need to find one from another phone that's similar and use it. www.mobilesentrix.com/catalogsearch/result/?form_key=KUTp3oG9Pk5bsrNr&q=heat+film
No I didn't. You're confusing it with the 2022 "5G" moto g stylus (they have a 5G and non 5G version if you don't know), you can see my video on that one as well and see I did take those 2 screws out.
👍 Manufacturers need to stop with these confusing name schemes so people don't get confused. Moto G 2022, Moto G Stylus 2022, Moto G Stylus 2022 5G its like cmon.
@4:40 I clearly explain what you need to do. After watching the video at that point you need to just heat up and pry the old screen off. If you can't understand that much of how to do it, you should probably not be doing it in the first place since you will cause more damage to your phone than actually fixing it.

could you do another video showing just the screen replacement steps?
Thank you for posting this video. Very helpful

Can you do a replacement of the outer screen for this phone
Thanks for the video. Do you know where the NFC chip is? Moto spec says this phone includes NFC. I'm hoping it's near the top of the phone, because on my Pixel 4a it's in the middle and is basically unusable because it gets confused by the cards in my phone wallet.
No problem. The G Stylus 2022 does not support NFC. Only the G Stylus 5G 2022 has NFC.
Thanks for clearing that up. Moto's device branding is a little muddled.
I love the layered view of the components just before installation of the phone. Overall hello moto 😌
Does the black coax cable control the vibrate motor? I replaced my screen and now vibrate doesn't work. I pinched the black coax cable.

Update... I think it's the connection for the top of the three cameras. Would this cause the front facing camera to not work as well?
Sometimes the app crashes or stays black if the main camera its set to doesn't open or run. So won't let you use other cameras either.
Well, no luck. I took it apart and reattached the top camera. Still black. :-( I did notice a break in the board, top right, around the camera. Its a little thin "L" shape. Maybe that's it? Any suggestions?
I accidentally poked a hole in the phone battery its just a small hole though so is it still good to use or do i need a new one?

I have this phone and it does not look the same inside. Is there a reason why the stylus and sim cards need to be removed?

Love from india ♥️♥️♥️
😀👍
I ripped my carbon film that's supposed to for heat, somehow, but I can't find another one to order.

0:30 - plastic pry tool = guitar pick
pretty much.
Pls test Oppo Find X5 Pro or Oppo Find X3 Pro. Thank you!
will look into it

Soo I just need a battery removal tutorial
这款手机看拆解好像不是一款定位很高的手机,但是却奇葩地配上了一根触控笔🧐,中国大陆还没有看见过这样的手机,虽然moto现在属于Lenovo了🤔
yup :)
i broke both the cables off the board when removing them, so it will not charge
check mobilesentrix.com they may have replacement parts for those cables
Sure I did enjoy the video
I think you should try poco x4 pro
I will look into it but the X4 pro seems to be the exact same as the note 11 pro, just a different style back glass.
Do realme 9 pro plus teardown
Will look into it
thanks
anytime
Nice
Thanks!
Motorola is Good pone brather
👍
Moto design is bad but spec r good
The design isn't too bad but not the best either.
Jamás se vio como cambio la pinche pantalla 😡 solo mostraba cosas que ni me interesan pura perdida de tiempo
