It's always to pleasurable to watch you both doing these smooth moves and I'm always like, I want to do that too, but I live near a forest and no real urbane village like place. I'm curious about how I am at it now, as I trained alone for a couple of years at some walls nearby my house, back when I lived in a city. It's great to see parkour pros almost flawlessly recreating those moves in mirrors edge catalyst. I had a great time with this game and replayed it three times. And I still don't seem to lose interest in it. Great video!

I'm pretty certain you guys got speedvalt and dashvalt mixed up not the experts but whoever edited it mixed it up like 10:30 They're obviously describing a dashvalt but the top says speed valt same with 9:35 They're talking about the speed valt now but they're showing the dashvalt so they mixed up the scenes
Yup, when Faith did a two handed vault with her feet kicked out in front they showed the experts explain and recreate a one handed side vault but when Faith does a one handed side vault they show the experts explain and recreate a two handed front vault.
Haha yup! That definitely got mixed up in the edit. But I can understand because if you're not totally familiar with the moves as an editor it might be a little confusing since there is so much footage to go through.
I love this and I love that you included the side by side comparison in game-play and actual parkour. I think I remember before Catalyst came out, DICE put out some development videos and one of them shows how they model the parkour from real parkourists as part of the research for Catalyst. It was so cool.
@@SSaNNEE100 Glitchless in my opinion would be kinda boring because it would be too similar to a normal playthrough. And seems like others think the same as there is no glitchless category. I run NG+ which is doing all main missions with all upgrades already unlocked.

I started learning in Gymnastic gyms when I was young doing Parkour there! Maybe there is a gymnastics gym near you that you could try out and see if it helps/is fun!

id never thought, how learnable these vertical wallruns are i was in a pottfiction camp in the parcour course and almost all of us reached at the end around 3m sth that was so cool xD

One thing that's worth mentioning: The roll in the game is headfirst, while most real parkour rolls are shoulder-first. This was likely done for gameplay purposes, but it's still an inaccuracy in how real rolls are done.

lore wise, faith is the best of the bests. and the group she work with is basically fulltime runners on SKYSCRAPERS. falling= death. It is unrealistic sometime, but she is suppose to do the impossible which make her a PROTAGNIST.
I started learning Parkour at a gymnastics gym so maybe it's possible that there is a gymnastics gym near you if you wanted to try to learn there! Since they should have trampolines and mats and foam pits and stuff for safe learning. Best of luck!!
Thing about this is that the pipe she jumps to in Mirror's Edge is much thicker. At that velocity, you couldn't have the grip strength to be able to stop yourself from falling straight down. The pipe they grab here is more like a monkeybar
