The almost landing on the wing tip was better than the one on the wheels. Notice the leg break out of the mountings when the aircraft crashed (the old saying its either a landing or a crash) while attempting to land. two places on an aircraft that must not be skimped on regarding strength are wing spars and landing gear. Notice how the aircraft ballooned when landing, to stop this the elevator must be pulsed when near the ground and the chances are you will rarely bounce or balloon another landing again.
I think if it had of been only a couple of inches lower that model would of snagged the tail and then it would of been a complete write off, Skin of your teeth flying & entertainment
Absolute, difficult and advanced individual maneuvers, but there is no flow in the flight at all. not particularly impressive if you can not fly with a certain flow and pace. whether it is high or low pace. feels and looks most like the pilot has ADHD or something similar. is starting to get tired of so many people thinking this is "skilled" flying, and that it is popular.
Everyone else seems to of spotted the moment Feel free to re-watch the slow mo of the wingtip strike @3:46.. Take a look at the elevator stabs, they are grinding in the grass, if the model had been only a inch lower that scrape would of been a cartwheel and a model write off.. Hence Close Call
@@Bravo303 Great video, and great save. Did the engine deadstick on landing, or did you kill it? Also, they let people with below 85 IQ in the comments section, best to probably not even respond. Cheers!
Their worst day of piloting is WAY better than my very best day! Great skills.
Thanks! They definitely put in the time to get that skilled. Keep practicing yourself, and you'll be there in no time!

It was flying the very next day, ready for more competitive flights
Close call with what? How is this a near crash??? Lmao what a fucking clickbait title....
Jeezus he lost the tip of his wing! I'd say that was a near crash! Look at 4:07. (amazing flying, btw)
