why would that make any sort of sense, if he was flitting around he would still age and if the one we see in soul reaver was a younger one hopping to the future wheres the older version
@@charg1nmalaz0r51 You clearly don't understand much about time travel. If he jumped to the future(no matter how many years it was), he'd have barely aged at all. If the Kain from the SR intro jumped 1500 years into the future immediately after he order Raziel "cast in"there's no aging. There may be no older version than that that we know of in the timeline.
Watching your gameplay was slightly frustrating, I must admit. I disagree on the camera. You are supposed to control it yourself and if you do it properly, you should not have problems to see where you are going at all. For the platforming section in the Drowned Abbey, I noticed you did not use sneak or crawl which prevents you from falling off edges. Also, why not use long glide jumps? You have much better control over them. It sounds to me you made your playthrough harder than it should have been by not utilizing Raziel´s full skill set. Games in 1999 did not have camera controls on the right stick, they were mostly on the triggers, so no Y axis control was possible, only in look around mode. Not even SR2 had this. Kain was affected differently than the rest, so he does not devolve the same way as his children. For Kain´s fight in the Chronoplast, all you have to do is to climb up on the left side of the entrance and run right after you hit him. He always spawns opposite of you. See my playthrough on how it can be done fast.
@@RainaAudron ah damn, that tip on the crawling to avoid falling off edges would have helped wonders! I definitely felt more control on the camera aspects as the game progressed, I even tried binding it to the stick for a time. I think my biggest complaint with it was how it felt sluggish in its movement. I could control off the bumpers with not too much issue, sometimes it just didn't seem to want to turn fast enough, or the opposite, the auto centre would rotate quickly behind me at the worst moments. It's not a game breaker, to be honest it's the only thing I could talk about with any criticism, the rest of the game is an absolute masterpiece. Good tip on Kain... I'll need to remember that for my next run through, hopefully less than 20 years away this time!
