    Hi bro, I am having a little issue. What If I want this effect on a U-shaped Pipe? I want that pipe to start disintegrating from one end to another. But, what happening is - it is disintegrated in a parallel manner when empty is moved on an x-axis. From Parallel manner, I mean, whole Pipe is starting to disintegrate. Any help is greatly appreciated. I tried and lot and made quite a lot changes, but this is not helping.

    @Vickey3Dmotion 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey man, your tutorials are insanely awesome and I'm so lucky that I fond you today! :D This effect is really cool but reminds me of a problem that I couldn't solve. I'd like to fracture a text object to destroy it or to reassemble it. The problem is that the blender cell fracture always makes a complete mess out of the text. In Cinema4D you can easily fracture text with the Voronoi fracture and there are no seams. But in Blender you see every seam, inverted normals, materials getting ignored, some parts of the text are missing etc. A solution for this would be highly appreciated!

    Would be cool if it would work like you show - but it never does as you show and I tried it 1:1 like you did and I checked several times that I did 1:1 100% the same with the same settings 100% like you did!

    • @thecgpatrick
      @thecgpatrick  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      How does your output look like? Make sure you change the material blend mode to alpha hashed. In texture coordinated node reselect the empty control.

    • @Sven-Wagner
      @Sven-Wagner 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thecgpatrick
      I set the mode to alpha hashed and I added the empty. But the best result is that the empty just effects the edges of the object, not how far it's disappeared.
      So copy your animation I had to animate the black/white in the color ramp - only that way it disintegrates somehow.
