in a messy tour van
with the best people in the world, playing shows every day
then, I came back
had two days to readjust

for a shoot in brighton
forgot that I had a flight
frantically packed that night
brunch with a company

I can sleep for twelve hours

and sell merch in my dreams
my flat isn't clean

I'm so sorry, on behalf of the fans of Dan and Phil, because I realize how annoying it is for them to just make everything about them. I immediately thought about them when you said that but chose not to comment about it because IT'S SO ANNOYING! So yeah. Also, it's fine that you're busy. I miss when I was busy. Ever since my school year ended I have nothing to stress about and I kinda miss it. Anyway, love you Dodie!

I feel like this is my favourite Dodie video for so many freaking reasons - like the most important one: Dodie is one of the few TH-camrs who actually acknowledges that everyone is busy. Not just TH-camrs who sit around on their expensive sofas in thier pjs all day crying 'I'm sooooooo busy, I can't upload today!!!!' and moan that being a TH-camr is so hard. But everyone. Fans, viewers, producers, adults, teenagers, employed people, self-employed people, unemployed people. Definitely a helpful reminder today. I am job hunting and flat hunting and it's all a lot, especially during covid times and writing cover letters, creating a website, editing photos for that website. Trying to do things to help present and future me, but also tired and not wanting things to be difficult lol. But I'm also excited to try and find a new job in the music industry. I'm happy that I'm finally making my photography website and I'm happy that I've managed to stop binge watching Netflix constantly as it was making me feel bad that I wasn't getting important things done. I can't wait to get these big things done as I know I'll be happy with my hard work, and then can start getting back to my to do lists and working on some smaller things haha.
