I'm from Sri Lanka but this looks like a whole new country. I'm definitely visiting the north of the country next year because I only visited up to the north central province this year.

I am from western province srilanka. But if i get a chance to visit someplace whenever possible, that place would be Jaffna! Oh how i love their mutton curry and local jaggery!
Loving you content guys. This is the last untouched part of Sri Lanka. Mainly due to the civil war that lasted for 30yrs. That was one of the reasons we left in 1988. Will be back to set up my charity soon. It takes a lot of time and effort to put out all the content. Hope you guys enjoy the rest of Sri Lanka. There is a lot to discover. You can discover Sri Lanka in 2 weeks or over a year. Where are you both from? Also, what camera are you using? One❤
@@lovecricket1000 hi thank you for your message. I am from Belgium and Achraf is from Morocco. Jaffna and the North really is a paradise too. We are enjoying Sri Lanka a lot. And nice to hear that you are starting a charity here. Feel free to share your charity here in the comments then maybe I can share it in the description so it gets more reach :)
Im from southern lanka and I see a lot of developments reaching north , and these days developing jaffna pennisula as a tourist zone and NP as the renewable energy capital of sri lanka has become a top government priority
@@IamtheAbsurdist also, the main point is to ensure the coconut breaks. If it does not break, into two or more pieces, it is considered unlucky for whatever wish you made while breaking the coconut. The more pieces it breaks into, the better haha. It's a ritual most South Asian people do when they wish for something deep in their lives.
