Except taj mahal there is not much in north india/indo-gangetic basin. Most foreigners visit south indian states and himalyan states. (Rajasthan is an exception)

At 16:57 the tiny object that you asked about is a miniature stupa normally made from the ashes of cremation pyre. Many families will make such miniatures in huge numbers. It is called Tsa Tsa. Animal sacrifice was banned in Tibetan since Buddhism became dominant in Tibet hundreds of years ago. Instead red colour paint is used on statues of spirit represent blood in certain rituals that families perform for health and longevity. Tibetan Buddhism still follows the pre-Buddhist cultures such as prayer flags and Incense burning.
