Welll he is always showing videos about his plowing prowess with :"Red Power antiquated equip..... but anyone who has ever used a moldboard plow can see the difference......."
I will have to check out his plowing video, and yes my John Deere plow does a excellent job , actually I found a piece of paper in a old farm ledger of my great grandfathers that had written on it what measurements to set everything for a clean furrow well I followed it and it has not disappointed! And you have a nice TH-cam channel keep up the good work
@@themarydelfarmer5124 in old days we would set the furrow wheel on tractor so you pulled the plow in center of draw bar and cut the right amount of land in the front bottom.
Plowed many acres as a young boy with that same style of plow but it was on steel wheels. It pulled harder than a international plow we had for some reason only thing had against it.
Friendly advice: your front furrow is not quite filling in like it should; it is indeed "under throwing it". I don't know if it's a matter of needing to plow a tick deeper or a tick wider with the front bottom, or maybe it's the disc coulter screwing things up. Get out the tape measure and take a critical look next you are plowing. Keep it up!
Yeah most definitely , my father tells me that every time I plow with it , tells me not to tie it tight because if I do and it trips it’ll rip me off the seat .
C was the best cultivating tractor I ever saw. You could do point rows and 1 or 2 rows at a time. Too bad no one ever cultivates anymore and few folks plow either. Used to take half a dozen passes (at least) to put in crops. Thats progress.
@@tlm3574 I have a set for my Super C haven't used them in a couple years, if it wasn't for the fact, I put pre-emergence down I would cultivate every year. But I plow every year.
There is nothing wrong with your furrows, they are straight. Sod laid over very well with proper amount of moisture. Thought there would be more sandy loam soil if you are in State of Md. Appeared you were plowing in 3rd gear, not aware it was possible with a Super C. Looking good.
I literally don’t understand the titles that the app I use picks for me I think I’m gonna change the title because you’re right it’s almost like click bait and I definitely don’t want that for my channel.
Yeah man it’s straight nice job!

Very nice job. 10\10 in any contest.
Thank you very much
Farmall Fanatic needs to see what good job you did with a Green plow....

Yes they do pull hard but man that plow does an excellent job!

Be sure to not secure rope too securely so it will break away if the plow trips loose.

Never kbew a C could pull a plow that well
It pulls it very well it marches right on , it all has to do with the ground type too .

Cultivation is now seen as counter productive
