- Completing construction recently, Shibuya Sakura Stage, on the south west of the Shibuya JR station finally opened to the public to walk around. The redevelopment complex is connected directly to the station, and will house businesses and shops in the near future. For now, many of the shops are still in the process of getting set up, but the public can now at least walk around and get a preview of the new area. Originally targeted for completion for the 2020 olympics, the construction got delayed and it's completion was a bit overshadowed by the recently completed Azabudai Hills.

amazes me how quickly they rebuild after the shibuya arc keep up the grind
You are my specialz moment
🤣Omg...
Looking for this shit
dude... like, it's not the same, but it is xD
buy a Shiba Inu...
As a foreigner it's crazy how spotless those crowed public spaces are. So clean.
Well in asia they do lack things americans dont lack in city areas.
@@NOLINK74 Bad Manners?
Yeah, a major reason is because, you may get fined if you eat and walk. There are no garbage cans on sidewalks neither
just proves that irish and italian people can't have anything nice without tearing it up, it's why america can't have nice things
@@AoiTsuki_ TBF, many large cities have done away with garbage cans outside of specific places like parks or food courts. I know after like all the stuff that happened in the early 2000's bins disappeared because they were considered to be possible vectors for ... things that boom. Getting fined for walking and eating at the same time is a new one though.
Japan feels so dreamy.
Japan is truly the cleanest, friendliest and most organized country I've ever seen!
it always amazes me how clean Tokyo is compared to its density
Who you callin stupid?
@MisterKabul89 Compared to the rest of the world. :)
ig decent people live there
@@GabrielBacon Huh?
Remember, diversity is our strength
I went on a Japan trip across the country last summer with my high school. I've never been out of my state, nevertheless city. I've grown up poor, moving house-house for a bit and settled in a run down home. Back then, I could only imagine how amazing things could look through a screen. I always had a fascination for Japan, not because I like Anime, but because I hear it's so safe and respectful and just beautiful compared to my area, where it's very dangerous. Anyway, I was surprised to hear in my Sophomore year that we were going to have a trip to Japan, and a few students would be selected. Luckily, I was one of them, and I was ecstatic but also kind've anxious because I felt like I was going to see a new world. Whatever expectations I had, going to Japan exceeded them. I met so many people, everywhere was beautiful, and I felt safe. I felt in control of my life. The night life, beautiful quiet mornings, clean streets, safe to the point where I see kids not even the age of 7 walking to school either by themselves or in little groups. Although there was like a 18 hour flight for me to get there, the back and neck pains were worth it. Now, I want to go to college for Investment Banking or Corporate Finance and move to Japan. It might seem crazy but I was so glad to leave my area and find happiness in a new world. Writing this makes me sad, but also happy and grateful that I found this feeling and give me direction in life. I hope this serves as motivation for y'all to explore the world too, and maybe you might find a place that makes you feel happy when you're there and sad when you aren't.
Awesome! Good luck! I wish for your success!
this is why i love the internet. little insights from other people’s lives that are like never ending stories. i'm rooting for you that everything works out the way you want it to
Nice!
As a Japanese, I would recommend Fukuoka or Kobe as a place to settle! Tokyo and Osaka are somewhat tough to spend daily life lol.
A holiday vs living and working here are two completely different things. Not to shatter your dreams but I would advise some realism and cynicism in your thought processes. Tokyo can be absolute hell for a lot of people beneath it's shiny exterior. At least do a working holiday here before you fully commit.
@@kaibuchan I've heard and did a lot of research. I heard how hard it is to even land a job, nevertheless the mentally draining work everyday. I'm trying to plan how I can put myself in the right spot so I can land a good job there, or maybe get experience in my work field before going to Japan.
I already got my mind set on it honestly, and I know it's going to be very difficult but I just have to play my cards right and I'll have a chance. Nothing to lose anyway.
Feeling completely safe walking around at night in Japan was an eye opening experience I will never forget.
Its like... this is how the world is supposed to be everywhere
the benefit of saying "no" to diversity lol
@@swift71 wow this is so false and hateful its unreal
xd@@CreatorHouseVlogs
@@CreatorHouseVlogsexplain
@@vladimirgluten781 swift71's comment Is saying that Japan not being diverse in ethnicity/race is what makes it safe. Implying that other countries with diverse ethnicity/race are unsafe because of the fact, which is hateful and stigmatizing.
Japan is always so clean and pretty!
r❤😅😅
That's what happens when.... well, America was once very clean and pretty... so was much of Europe.
Ya know... things change I guess...
No homeless no gangsters no drugs and no crime. Wow. It’s like Japan is living in the future.
same with china and singapore. way ahead of the west
@redbulldrinker1784 China and Singapore are ahead of the west in some ways, ans behind in numerous.
Food quality is abhorrent in China. Horrible unsanitary conditions. Lots of 3rd world lifestyles still. Singapore is the same.
The west has fallen behind in numerous ways, but overall has much more first world in comparison.
it always amazes me not just how clean japan is as many others have pointed but also how stylish it is, that like marble red area with the stairs going into it is just such a gorgeous color and texture. really wish I can visit at some point in the future
True. I heard that japanese architects really go all out with their building designs as design standards and zoning laws in japan aren't as stiff as they are in n.american countries and in european countries
And fyi there are sections in Tokyo where there is plenty of garbage and filth specially where the homeless reside just like any other first world country I’ve lived in Japan for over 30 years I’ve seen it all
japan envisions the art, the gemans builds it
The Sakura Stage Is Wonderful Beautiful!
🌸💮🌸💮🌸💮🌸💮🌸💮🌸💮
Its honestly impossible to not fall in love with Tokyo, I've missed it ever since i went back in 2019. I wish one day I'd be able to move there
"Holidays mode" is not like "routine and obligations mode". We always idealize places when we go on holidays. Living a normal life is a totally diferent thing.
Agreed, as much as I like Japan I wouldnt want to live there@@Davidman3976
@@Davidman3976 This is true. Japan can be hard to live in especially if you work for a Japanese company. You also have to make a huge effort to socialize with people or you'll become isolated very fast. You're also not supposed to question authority figures and when you're told to do something a certain way you have to do it exactly that way.
Some foreigners also get annoyed when they're always approached simply for being a foreigner, Or how if you're with a Japanese person store workers will ignore you and only talk to the other Japanese person.
I don't mind it personally because I understand why they're doing it, but I know some people who left the country after a while because they found all of the above extremely hard to live with and very offensive.
@@Davidman3976I mean yes obviously,
but the environment around you also plays an important role on like your happiness. Like for example working in a well-lit office with a lot plants is not the same as working in a dark old office.
It’s the same for the city you life in: you are automatically more happy when you like your city than when you live in a city you hate
Japanese working culture is hell
凄い😮こんな近未来っぽいエリアが渋谷にあるんですね。どんどん変わりますね。映像共有してくれて、ありがとうございます😊
I cameback from Japan last week and I think it might be the best first world country capital to visit. Safetiness, respectful people, almost no homeless people, things to do everywhere, you definitely won't get bored since there are so manyyyy things to do, buy and eat.
Nice seeing everything rebuilt so quickly after the Shibuya Incident.
What was the Shibuya incident?
高画質映像になるほどになぜかCGっぽくなる現実風景って不思議。
this looks so good. like a vision of the future
bladerunner future
A future we here will never have.
Lived in Japan for 9 years, literally the coolest country on earth
I love Tiered cities and Tokyo is perfect for this. so many levels of pedestrian walkways to traverse
shibuya looked so good before season 2 jujutsu kaisen
Rofl! Yeaaah that new crater is a bit of an eyesore huh 😂👍
I get teary eyed whenever I watch videos of Japan. It's been almost 7 years since my visit and I still miss it.
Beautiful city, one of my bucket list visits!!
Thank you so much for letting us experience Japan while not there! And I also just can't get over how clean Japan is

WOW... Tokyo really is the capital of the earth!
Not even close lmao
@@alecvladimirnovak2548Sort of. I mean, it has the highest population and sits at the highest-earning city per capita in the world. Even if it isn't the biggest, it still definitely is something to recognize.
@@alecvladimirnovak2548 I can at least guarantee you that any major city in the entirety of the Slavic world does not come close to Tokyo
oh...very nice. I look forward to visiting that station next summer! Thanks for sharing this!
I was in this same exact area in the summer September and October with my family. Thank God our hotel was right around the area. Every time we walk around the bridge we always said that after they are done with the construction this Sakura stage and area is going to look breathtaking. I’m so glad you did this because it looks amazing. I just shared this with my family. MISS JAPAN SO MUCH ❤

Always a pleasure to be in Tokyo it never ceases to amaze you
amazing
It looks extremely slick and beautiful. and love all the different neon shades of the city
Amazing 👍
Amazing. Incredible sound scape and luscious pictures. Apart from the undersides of over-passes there's not a square meter of space here that hasn't been considered for its aesthetic appeal. The cleanliness, the visual feast and that ocean of sound interwoven with music is sublime. Great video - I just didn't want it to end.
I am travelling in Japan with your videos ❤ so happy to see a different world 🙏⚘

10:15 This looks awesome! 🤩I wish you could walk up that stairs but unfortunately it was closed.
cities there are so clean & neat, we could learn from them
I think I was here the same night as you! (December 8?) I had no idea this was here and just stumbled upon it walking back from visiting my friend. I found it amusing that I took an escalator from street level just to find myself at street level again on the same road. And then I did that again.
The ambiance is great. And this part of town really looks nice and clean.
Wow! Cool!
