An Arsenal great, who gave everything he could on the pitch as a player for all his clubs..Mr Sol Campbell. Keeping Macclesfield up was a really good achievement. All the best in club management as a boss.
Spurs fan for over 40 years and sol Campbell was the best defender I've seen at the club even though he walked out on us, around 1998/99 I thought he was the best in the world

I'm not black, but I understand that there's A LOT of black players in English football.... e.g. count black players in the England squad. So it's only fair that we ask why there isn't a proportional amount of black managers in the higher tiers of English football. You could literally count them on your hands. Something's wrong and it should be fixed.
lol I genuinely hope you are actually curious about this and looking for answers. Although somehow I don't think you'll like them very much if you find them. Start by asking yourself why there aren't many black goalkeepers either. Good luck.

@@barrister101 I think from your response you already know what I'm talking about, and if you already know why didn't you mention it in your first post and act like it's some kind of mystery why there aren't any top black managers? Is Sol now working on the dark side as he mentioned ! Shame it didn’t work out for him but I’m sure he is not too skint and will earn a fortune on the sofa with the other out of work managers.
Les Ferdinand said "I don't wanna go into management Stan because I knew it wasn't gonna happen". Im sorry Les but that's a losers attitude. Did Frank Rijkaard have that attitude before he took the reigns at Barca?..No he didn't..he stuck to his guns and got his chance. I love Stan but this whole black would-be managers not getting a chance gets revved up to the max.
@@robbiewizz658 im pleased to hear it. But I wish he would stop banging the racist drum. Its getting bloody tired...and QPR..theres another club who gave a young black manager a chance in Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. He needs to stop moaning and try hard to become a manager like Sol Campbell has.
Honestly, drop all this shit about there's no black managers so don't bother. You can see Sol is knowledgeable and sensible so he'll do well. It's about personality not colour of skin. It's like when Hughton got sacked recently. He was negative and Brighton wanted a more proactive approach. It was nothing to do with his colour. Same with Darren Moore at WBA. We were dropping out of the play offs so the club made a change. However, I think he gave his assistant manager too much control. I hope he does well at Doncaster. But again, his colour doesn't matter. It's really small minded to blame the colour of someone.
There’s no way that if a candidate for a managers job was a black man and he ticked all the boxes they wanted but he was black he wouldn’t get the job it’s bollox
This man walked out on both Arsenal and Spurs, but Arsenal fans still adore him solely because he's hated by Spurs fans, that tells you everything you need to know about Arsenal who also adore serial cheat Teirry Henry. I recall for a long time Campbell was seen as a calamatous player with a mistake in him and got lucky as the weak link in a good Arsenal side. Poor England player, poor manager, poor decisions as a player and in life. Its amazing how certain people fall into a career.

He seems like a nice guy and pretty motivated. Surely a premier league team should give Sol a go, rather than going for an unknown European name.
give us an example of an 'unknown' european name?

Top notch content!
Sol better than Rio fact
EXACTLY! Rio was a bit better on the ball than Sol but Sol was just a defensive colossus.
Jpts13 he wasn't
Come on Sol! Sort out Southend
Wasn’t he trying to be a Tory MP ?
I think you need to adjust your colouring in the editing software you use lol 5:35 Stan looks like he's wearing purple/pink lipstick.
Sol deserves a job higher up the pyramid, a championship job or prem job
Matt devereux he wouldn’t last 10 games in premier league. I honestly think he would be next as a number 2 like Roy Keane
Matt devereux why? He did a decent job at Macclesfield but why should he be given a job in management at the higher levels?
Charver Cho tv based on what exactly.

Don’t doubt Sol as a player.
Think he may struggle to articulate his ideas as a manager / coach however.
