It's great to see the fruits of your labor getting a really proper shakedown! Those rocks sure look different than anything out west, crumbly and dusty but at least no baby powder. Looks like a great time !👍
Looked like a bit of a challenge, hope the new chassis operating well, hope your weekend was,as good as the weather Looked, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Welcome back Stan and welcome back Grandpa’s Jeep 2.0! It doesn’t look like Grandpa’s Jeep is any less capable off-road after the chassis swap? Did it feel any different to 4wheel in after the swap? As always, a great video and can’t wait for more!!!
It was nice to meet your son in law Greg, I’m a Greg too. Once I have at least 1 of my CJ’s up to trail fitness again I want to start making some videos like you do and post them on TH-cam. The terrain in this video is similar to the 4wheeling we have in the hills around where I live. Once I have something to post I’ll post a link if you are interested? I don’t think I’m as brave as you guys in your little Jeeps but we still have fun. Looking forward to your next video!
Greetings from Pontassieve in the province of Florence I have a fantastic Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 1.3 LT van with a 2001 m13a petrol engine that I use on mountain and forest roads and on gravel and scree dirt roads and I also use it to transport agricultural loads and for me the Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 remains the best 4x4 thanks to its smaller size compared to large 4x4 off-road vehicles and then it remains the best 4x4 vehicle because I live in the countryside and work in the agricultural sector
I think those jeeps are so awesome, I didn't really know about them when I got my suzuki samurai. I would rather have an old jeep now, I've always had older chevy trucks so I think I would be able to do all the mechanical work on an old jeep. Also, surprising how small they are, they actually look smaller than a samurai, lol. Great videos, I really enjoy watching them.
@@Grampas-jeep yeah I learned that after watching your videos. I went straight to wiki and looked at all the weighs and dimensions of old jeeps. They are almost as small as a samurai but I believe they are still heavier and built more sturdy. That would make them a lot better for running bigger tires, A samurai has a frame thats like a 2x3 sqaure tube and is about .090" thick. In my opinion, if you tried to weld any brackets to that they would just rip out. Making it hard to go hardcore with a samurai. I'm not sure how those old jeeps compare on that, but since they are heavier but still just as small I would assume they have thicker frames.
Great Video Stan! If you or anyone is interested we are hosting a Vintage 4x4 (Pre '90) Event at Southern Missouri Offroad Ranch on October 4th and 5th. Trails, drives, food and prizes! Keep up the great wheeling footage!
Wow amazing adventure... Thanks for sharing
Sounds like grangpa' s jeep may have gotten more than a frame swap! It's running great even with the grill facing the sky . Love the content! Thanks
We had some good weather, not too wet and not too dry. Thanks for joining us this year!
It looks like the frame swap is treating you well. That was a fun process to watch.
Thanks Matthew!

Come to Alabama and fill those tires up with some red Alabama mud. Talk about no traction. I love your videos Stan!
Thank you.
I have wheeled Windrock and Stoney Lonesome. You are right. That red mud is the hardest surface to get traction on.
