This mission seems like a (spiritual) remake of the GDI Firestorm mission "The Cyborgs are Coming" - I've read it's the darkest mission in all of C&C, but I may have misunderstood that. 0:58 agreed; if a unit is using the GI's weapon, then better also be using the GI's sprite. Confusing players is terrible mission design. Or at least give some warning like "commander, we have a SEAL's uniform for you but not his gun. You can use a GI's machine gun tho, yes?" 1:38 yep, this is definitely a remake of that GDI Firestorm mission; the outpost you're meant to contact gets attacked, all units are either destroyed or "transported" to CABAL's Cyborg facilities. 2:37 & 3:14 yep. IIRC the units in that mission that head for the outpost don't attack unless fired upon - everything else tho... (looking at) 3:32 sucks there's no color-coding or some sort of warning about which units will leave you alone and which ones want you gone. 4:00 you just went past the YCLN that MC-ed you in the previous run. Guess something went wrong with their script which made them attack on sight... 4:13 I think you missed a cliff-slope here. 4:16 yep, definitely a remake. 4:19 lol! 6:54 not necessarily, could just be you being unlucky - if these are random crates and not specific crates. 9:07 lol. Yeah that makes sense - TibSun had cyborgs, YR has Brutes. Wonder what RA2 would have... 9:46 oh dear. 10:08 this makes sense; Spy and impostor-SEAL belong to different Houses, and each cell can only be checked for the presence of one *specific* House - this comes from cells not being able to have more than one CellTag, which asks "did House X enter cell?". 14:35 IIRC in the original you get an MCV too... 19:19 could be; but could also just be its trigger was disabled until after the "evac". 23:41 ...did Concolor set this guy up to a Thief/Spy..? I'm looking into the code now; all Concolor did to the GHOST was dis-allowing C4 and giving him the GI's deploy-weapon *Para*. He's also banned from shooting into the water at all. I don't get it - whatever the SEAL would do when entering those buildings, he shouldn't be able to do them at all. 24:05 *my disappointment is immeasurable and my night is ruined* - one can't remove an Infantry's C4-ability completely in missions with this engine as the Infantry can still enter buildings but just not do anything. Thankfully the infantry isn't swallowed in the process... 24:13 like I said, C4 can't be removed from C4-infantry in maps properly. C4 = no should be the end of it but apparently not. 27:59 now that's just insulting. the outro was great :)
Its definitely a contender for the darkest mission, but TS/FS has a number to pick from. Radicalising mutants to suicidally attack a GDI facility working on treating and curing tiberium derived mutation could be a close contender. Nod used captured civilians to feed and bait tiberium beasts to attack a GDI base one time ....
It's undoubtedly inspired by that GDI mission in Firestorm. Even the premise is the same: warn villages about a threat, nearby outpost gets destroyed, people are turned into war machines of sorts.
15:40 I think bus isn't useless because gattlings and psychic tower wasn't intended to be destroyed. You should use spy to power down tower and miner as shield to bus with fake seal
Man this mission is really broken, so many strange triggers, especially the attack on the allied base, apparently more often than not it failed even though it's supposed to utterly wipe it out. This missions is really either outdated or halfassed, still much respect for going through it
It turns out in the end you used the miner for scouting, this is the second time the miners save you. It looks like they are the most valuable unit😂😂😂😂😂

the outro was great :)
Nice info as always!
These missions are not made by Concolor though!
@@tg.Sacred My bad. You're right tho, ArgCmdr made them long ago from what I recall.
GDI Firestorm mission "The Cyborgs are Coming" yeah it is a dark mission

my god, that crate would have started WW 3 if i were to play this mission ..
3:34 Yuri:Hello
Seal: Hello
SEAL: You didn't see me!
*Roll for Bluff: 20*
Yuri: Okay.
XD@@shadyone6620
The crate is very nasty
That crate was very useful!
I must say I really like seeing the next mission come out lol all i wonder is what are they going to throw at you next haha. :)
That is extremely frustrating and funny at the same time. 😂
That sniper sounds better then half the snipers in modern games lol
7:05
That crate...
😁🤣
Idk why but it remind me about that mission in C&C Tiberium Sun

@@CnCDune that make sense

i used sniper to destroy psychic tower, with full speed it took him 1 - 1.5 min :P

Finally, this is a fun mission imo. Much more chill than the rest
Man I just fucking hate exploding and fog crates, people who extensively use them are scum no matter how good their scripting is.
The Fake Seal is named commander 😂😂😂😂
He is an imposter. 😤
@@tg.Sacred 🤣🤣🤣
