I’ve developed so much dandruff in my hair I need to figure out what to do it’s like even when I wash it it goes away then within a week it’s back full of dandruff
I have seborrheic dermatitis. Coal Tar shampoos are the only thing that gives relief but...I have to shampoo every 3-4 days to keep it away. Any oils on my scalp inflame the situation more. Shampooing every few days is very stripping and causes more gray since I color
Super late comment but I get really bad dandruff and I always put olive oil in my hair (usually with a braid). I don't know how it will work with other peoples hair but the olive oil really helps my scalp.
DanBlue dandruff is dead scalp cells, if you keep your scalp moisturised it prevents dandruff so a bit of oil does help. Not too much though. It better to apply after a wash too.
@@Nameless-uy4zi Not everyone gets dandruff cause of the same reasons. For some it's it's just straight up a medical condition others just don't get it at all.
@@Nameless-uy4zi I need to try Apple cider cause I’ve been oiling my hair and you’re right it’s not working dandruff goes away after I wash it for like a week and then the dandruff come back
X16.ALPHA.CONFIG Ashani R. does it have to be apple cider vinegar? I scratched out my dread and cut my hair because of the itch lol, but now I'm growing it back to start over!
I started my braids so they can lock into dreads but they're building up dandruff and i dont want the dandruff to lock in with my incoming dreads what do i do about that?
if you have tight curls then it shouldnt be a problem, but if it has a wavy pattern id reccommend twist and rip. i personally used it and im one month in on my dread journey and it looks nice
If you have freeform dreads isn't it better to wash your hair more often? For white pol hair especially cus when your hair is oily it won't knott up as quickly.
@@isaiascaines3299 From what I've gathered, using conditioner on locs ends up being counter-productive and makes it harder for your hair to lock-up. I might be wrong about that, but that's what my research has led me to believe so far.
when you say wash your hair do you mean with both shampoo an conditioner or just rinse it while showering, also will rinsing it while showering mess up the dreading process in its early stages?
I cut my dreads today :,( i lost my battle to dandruff, didn’t have the patience to deal with it and by time it got worst but im going to prepare my self to do a comeback. By the way this video helped me al lot, its just the situation im at that took me to cut them off. Still left one dread alive.

His dreads just so clean
Yo does anybody know how to get rid of dandruff with dreadlocks from straight hair without messing them up ?
you should also moisturize your hair and scalp. A little oil and water will do the trick.

if he dont want to wash it he can put a lil bit of vinegar and water n a spray bottle and spray the roots alone.

no doesnt have to be apple cider.. just regular
What about the smell? Vinegar doesn't have the most pleasant smell, so how can I counter that?
u dnt lol.. u only put a small amount. n the smell doesnt last long at all or what some ppl do is mix in some shampoo
Dread friendly shampoo, I reckon?
Thanks for the answer that was my question! They have stopped itching and are coming along good! Thanks for advice bro I'm gonna need it lol

can i start freeform dreads with 1 inch of hair if i use the sponge method?
I started mine when it was at an inch just to separate the hair plus apparently its better to start sooner than later, but tbh its really up to you

Is baking soda a good cleanse

how long should I wait to do avc rinse guys
Do it whenever they get really dirty if shampoo and water can't get them out.
What’s the avc mixture ratio

It’s doesn’t stop nothing ... just nasty looking
It can make your hair break or fall out if you itch it aggressively
