As a "new" player I understood maybe 40% no Clue why some stuff is better then other stuff

@@yofedstyhrega4594 90 or even 95% of the times, when you are just fixing your build after doing campaign, you're basically looking for items with maximum life, maximum mana (if you use mana) and a mix of resistances (that's why he looks for elemental resistances 80% when he searches for the ring, that can give you a mix of 25% fire, 25% cold, 30 lighning for example)
For actual "new player" advice, raxx is far superior. He explains things so well that even a 2 year old could understand.

So i was listening to this ok my phone and my wife was nearby. She s heard me talking about poe for so lany yers that whenever Ziz lentioned "bleed nodes" she said "can t bleed with ele damage in this gale can you?". Gotta love her. Gotta love Ziz.

1) You get to Politely Roast a person and show them where they went wrong.
2) "Give a man a fish he eats for a day; Teach him to fish he'll eat for a lifetime"
3) It allows you to flex your creativity muscles and shows people that you are knowledgable outside of EA Ballista, ED Contagion and Poison Spark XD

Kinda impressive someone made it to level 81 with sunder and 1.7k life.
Sunder is Busted this League (even if you scale it all wrong)
My bone crusher build ises sunder during leveling, but now I’m doing lvl 8-9 maps I can’t get rid of it-it’s so good. Sunder, leap or blink into pack, bone crush, repeat. Tons of fun.
You can tell this pains Ziz (its like explaining computer shit to your boomer parents lmao), but it REALLY does help these kinds of players. I learned the hard way over years, but stuff like this would've definitely helped get me into end-game MUCH faster.
We all need to remember two things: a) POE is the probably one of the most in-depth, cryptic and convoluted games on the planet (its been getting much more accessible over the years though), and b) we were all new once. Just try not to be dicks! Keep the community nice for a change :)
I remember first time playing on ritual, overwhelming. No one to guide me but myself and a build guide, F to Enki's Arc Witch. My first ever, though I only last until tier 2 maps. But then continued playing until now
Dr. Ziz resuscitating builds is my new favorite type of video.
Love these videos dude. It shows a lot of the nuances of PoE and how to fix. So much info being conveyed without trying. Just your knowledge coming through naturally. It's great.
In the long run these vids will certainly cause more people to be better at the game (myself included) and perhaps not get dissuaded when a build doesn't seem to be working.
Holy shit, I could have listened to this one forever! This was a fucking amazing video, there was explaination, I could see the numbers go up and down. Ziz talking to himself was awesome since it was like having captions..... superb video. I know you said you don't like this kinda stuff, but every now and then something like this would be amazing!

You could also do shorter one where people just link you thier BoP and you tell them what do upgrade next. Just one/two items, gems or other stuff.

For some reason, optimizing builds with a tiny budget is so satisfying to watch.

The show node power check box on pob tree helps a lot for finding nodes to up DPS

Make this a series, it's honestly so good, explaining what's wrong and priorities.
5:50 He's near the 28% mana reservation efficiency cluster (he only needs 5 points), he could take those and clarity. His 40 mana regen(percentage based) would probably skyrocket to like 100+ with clarity. If he doesn't have a totem, regen totem is very good right now to buckle up a lot of health regen.
It's also actually so good you didn't give him multistrike + ruthless. You won't get a ruthless trigger until the (3, 3, 3) 7th, 8th and 9th hits. It's really bad unless you attack cancel 2 times and then stand still for 3 attacks which is not beginner friendly (or sane). It's also more of a boneshatter of complex trauma attack-pattern anyways (multi-strike extra attacks also don't build trauma / cost mana/life).
Shame you don't like doing these videos because I think a series of build doctoring would be more useful than most. Also just super engaging.

I need my build fixed. followed your ice nova as best I could and it works I can clear t16s, not very juiced ones but I can do reg ones. everyone else's ice nova seems way better than mine. second league here
Do you have EXACTLY the items, tree, and skills the build guide has? If not, make sure you get those and then see how it feels.
one good tip I can offer you is search your build on poeninja and look at what everyone else is doing! (btw sort by either highest EHP or damage, depending on what you think you're lacking)
@@pedroupaiva poe ninja is a really bad place for a new player. Most of the builds are garbage and only pump numbers. You need to filter most of them to get workable, actual builds and that's something a new player won't be able to do. They might see a piece buy it without realizing it was the worst way to spend money in the build. Crafting a new weapon vs unique jewel comes to mind. Poe ninja shouldn't be looked at unless you really know what you are doing and can see if a build is trash or decent from a quick glance. There are build in this game that cost 20 div that perform better than builds that cost 200 pretty easily. New players should always try to understand why with videos explanation etc and not copy paste
This was epic, just as fun to watch as it seemed you were having gettin it done.
trinity can actually be procced even if you only have 2 elemental damage prefixes (as long as the damage numbers overlap). Basically, whenever you do a hit that deals more elemental damage than phys or chaos damage, the element that did the most damage will cause the two other elements to gain 25 resonance. So say on the first hit I do mostly fire damage, then lightning and cold will each gain 25 resonance. Then on the second hit I do mostly lightning damage, fire and cold will gain 25 resonance. After those two hits i'll have 25 fire resonance, 25 lightning resonance, 50 cold resonance. Once I have 25 resonance of each element, I gain the trinity bonus. I'm like 95% sure of what I just said but please correct me if I'm wrong :)
That should be right. I'm currently overlapping cold and lighting damage and Trinity is effectively permanently up.
Instead of doing a count search for jewels, you can use pob‘s internal item search and click on the „sum“ at the bottom to sort the jewels by how much dps they give you.
On top of that you can delete one of the useless mods and force the jewel to have %life for example 👍🏼

Id love ziz or someone to look at my build lmaoo, im 800 hours deep and i always get to this point in a league. Arguably this is the farthest iv gotten in a league, gotten a couple divines and have some divine level gear but like. Now im at a point I dont know what else to get, how to improve my gear further. Genuinely feel like im stuck.

I have found for my ele sunder its Sunder>Multi>Inspiration> Phys to Light> More Ele Dmg. If he found a staff that has the same stats he could get 75% crit with the staff node and the big crit node.

Great video; I laugh at bleed on an ele build as though my first build didn't have Essence Drain linked to Added Lightning Damage, even spent at least a few hours with the classic Void Manip - Ele gem nonbo. Definitely didn't make it through acts with that one.

this is the content we need, so many streamers/builders/etc dont think about the new guy coming in and is like wow this looks cool as fuck yet have zero idea how gods damned complicated this game actually is. few leagues in ya a build guide makes perfect sense but a full newb.... think back when you first opened the passive and tree and though wtf...
no seriously a stream once a week where you take a struggling newbs build and his 10-15c and explain why sure the resist numbers might be good but why is he still dieing 4 times map. "skill issue, i know".

I remember seeing an youtuber do daily viewer raffles for build reviews. Even if you find those a bit tiresome, it could be a nice middle ground as you could limit it to just once or twice per stream and designate a specific time for that, hopefully lessening people asking for it all the time.
Kinda stoked, imagining him seeing one of these seemingly bad builds and though fixing it discovers a busted build

So how is this for a video idea ... can you tell me what to do with my build given I just found my first mirror ever (after 12+ years and 6000+ hours). I seriously have no idea what to do with it. I have never killed all ubers. I kind of suck. I'm in softcore and generally hit 36-37 challenges each league but that is about it. I only do one build per league (i.e. a "starter" that I try to take to endgame).
Would love to understand how to take my defenses to infinity so I can have a hope in hell of killing uber exarch/eater/sirus/maven/etc.

idk if this is a ziz or editor problem but could someone please look into Ziz's mic peaking sometimes. Its quite shrill and kinda hurts my ears lol. Example is at like 5:17 but it happens constantly throughout videos

I think staff is still better because you want high crit for Inquisitor ignore res and easier charges, even if weapon dps is lower

isnt the tranafigured sunder just worse aoe, its maybe better in toxic sewers or does it have a special property im missing?
@@cykablyat6348 I think because this is specifically an elemental sunder build where physical conversion isn't being focused on, the faster attack speed of transfigured sunder becomes more important.

I don’t know about everyone else but after these last two patches this game has become unplayable with the lag spikes and boots. Never had this issue the last two leagues. Such a fun league so very frustrating. Good video as always
Yea I've been getting crazy lag spikes. Thank goodness I wasn't in HC. The spikes have caused me to die a few times. Hopefully it gets fixed.
i don't get ping lag but i'm enjoying a solid 20-40 fps as soon as there is any combat at all
