For doing the eyelashes.I have used the triangle out shape as bezier shape(pen tool shape). Every eyelash is a two node shape. So it gives a blant edge at one end and sharp edge on the other end as like of long and thin triangle, resembling eyelash.

Hi there, you can do that by selecting the shape as stroke only. Press shift +ctrl+F.. Fill and stroke panel will open from there remove fill (x)
