This mod is AMAZING. All of it. Some of it is STUPID over powered. Like lightning- both bolt is OP vs mechs, and chain bolt is crazy op since it scales with psycaster ive seen it chain like 30 times. For tribals on CE its essential bows are absolute garbage. But the mod needs balancing a bit it is so OP but i love all of it so much. Ps. Just a heads up protector is AMAZING. The psy immunity is clutch being stuck with herbal medicine and limb regrowth is essential- no more missing arms legs and eyes it can even do scars. Necropath for the resurrect spell is also very nice.
Using the time meditation and Time reversal with 2 psycasters is a super broken way to farm Psy levels. I managed to get 2 level 26 psy casters within like 30 days that way

I got the hosting an ally for the empire quest and I had some luck and he was level 3 with 2 unspent points and he was like 30, so I got him to get the meditation, that allows you to level up really fast, then I beelined to Time revesal,And after that psyring crafting. Then I could craft 2 ring one for the time revesal and 1 for the meditation, and I did all of that with a pawn that i was any way giving back. By that time he was a 75 year old man hehehe. But then I could chese using 2 tribal pawns with 1 level using the meditation and time reversal and psy castst that i never really unlocked, The thing to remember also is that just leveling up the nural heat capacity really cuts down on the pawns downed time, and most psycasts can be brought from traders meaning that you just need to spend a point here and there to get skip and other op thing and the rest of your points go to nural heat. That is the way to really chese the game
My OP combo is one necro that rush resurect and one protect that ruch regrow limb and death is not a problem anymore bcz your necro can get his finger regrown back after resurecting someone. Plus you can resurect ennemies that got good stats just to make them prisoner. Don't forget to heal the necromancer before using regrow limb it won't work if he is still bleeding.
Chronopath was a fun one. It has this one ability which basically creates a giant ball of time on fast forward. It gives heart attacks and slows people down lol. It's not super OP, since the range isn't absurd or anything but it is almost like a lite orbital bombardment, with a little more risk on effectiveness (sometimes people don't get a heart attack, and instead are just left at like mid-age or late-age and a second usage is required)
My favorite synergy is having Shadowskip from the Nightstalker branch with a Paralysis Pulse from the Necropath. Any human raid is instantly stopped, if you jump in the middle. Insanely OP. Ultimately fun 🙃 And if you have a sunblocker active, you can, basically, instantly teleport ninja-like all over the map
This psycasting doesn't seem to function with the same mechanism as the vanilla psycasting, and I think it should be its own separate, but related, magic system.
It's best to go time powers first because of the meditation and the the affects can be countered by draining prisoners of their life force, after that you want to get empath because of the swapping of conditions which is great
This is very late, and likely wasn’t relevant at the time, but sanguophages from Biotech are immune to the effects of age increases; they’ll still age, but it can never kill them. If you manage to get one of them with this (and assuming you don’t care about having a sanguophage), they are basically free immortality for all of your colonists.
The first time I used this mod I invested heavily on my Conflagelator psycaster to get the fire laser ability just to realize that mechanoids are fire resistant 🤣

Add in Buyable Neuroformers, Craftable Neuroformers, Psy-Eltex, Psycast Upgrades, Psyonic+, maybe PsiTech, Meditation Freedom, and you can have a PSIONIC GOD. I'm doing a solo superman run, where I just accumulate power like crazy. He will have the best of the best in everything. Anima Fruit for easy psy upgrades, Anima Bionics (heart) for increased psychic sensitivity, Science Never Stops: Ambition of the Cosmic for the best weapons + armor, VWE Coilguns for weapons whose bulleta pass through multiple enemies, Rimworld of Magic to steal good traits from other people and graft them onto himself (including one fighter or magic class of his choice), Archotech Expanded for OP materials and bionics (and clothing), Prosthetics No Missing Body Parts (to keep hands and feet so as to use gloves and boots), Hand & Footwear (for gloves and boots), well, the list goes on, but those are some really good ones.
Not sure if this works but with the necro’s revive skill it uses up a finger so you have a limited amount of revives but am sure (I never got to the point of testing it) you can use the protector’s regrow limbs skill to regrow the necro’s fingers
With iceshaper Ray of Frost is absolutely deadly on narrow spaces, also breath of ice can be used to one shot anything if pawn stands next to and IT doesnt make Animals rage
For your chefs you'd need to have the cleaning job set on priority 1 and the cooking job on priority 2, or otherwise have the former above the former, in order to avoid food poisoning, assuming your colonists don't have a very low cooking skill, like 3-4. ^ However: since your base is so huge, you'd either need everyone on cleaning, or have 1 cleaner robot dedicated for the kitchen, or in the order of 15 cleaner robots cleaning up the whole base.
I played psycast expanded, tried to revive my dude and he just floated and never came back. I abused the time psycast tree, meditation at the cost of 1 year of life to farm exp and I would make them younger by stealing licespan from animals ( gives animals heart attack ) and eventually got the last skill on that psycast tree on 2 people and would make them make each other younger.
@@mirceazaharia2094 sucking life years from animals doesn't work. However, you can farm psycast experience by using a skill that ages your pawn by 1 year and kills the animal that you target. With 2 time psycasts with the last skill unlocked, you can make both of them young.
The frost ray is incredibly broken if used right. Where you had that killbox with the traps just put the ray as far down as possible and watch as everyone dies within a second. It’s insane.

@@kaelcoates2396 Necro is terrible for combat but good as utility. Necro + Protector (regrowth) means your colonists never have to truly die unless it's old age.

They would go very well together. I feel like there would be outstanding synergy between the Rimworld of Magic Empath class and the Vanilla Psycasts Expanded Empath. And that's just one example.

On my current save I've already spent a year or so ancient danger diving looking for a res serum for one of my colonists and with this mod you can just sacrifice a finger which can be regrown in a biosculptor pod in just 8 days to bring someone back to life? It's so op i love it
You hate food poisoning ? Try out the Vanilla cooking expended Soups you can make Gourmet soup for +15 mood and no food poisoning 2. tip try dubs Min wheel you can bind that to your 4. or 5. mousebutten its rly helpfull

Even just starting as a necromancer is incredibly strong. I once had a necromancer with tough and high melee that would solo raid camps and resurrect all their people to bring the supplies back. Getting a necromancer in an established colony basically just wins you the game. You could easily start as a basic necromancer and solo your way to becoming a lich.

Staticlords are hella OP, 1 Static lord can stun lock an entire mech cluster while the rest of your colonists can just shoot them risk free.
