"You want to free your mind about a concept of harmony and of music being correct. You can do whatever you want, so nobody told me what to do" - Giorgio 5:12
These Giovanni memes have taken over TH-cam with varying degrees of success but it’s nice to actually here the full song that is used in the memes. And in my opinion I don’t think there’s anything better sounding than good vinyl records
I have a decent setup (by some standards) and I always return to this album to test the sound when I make any changes because it is mastered beautifully (not to mention the delicious music). I have become intimate with the detail in this music, but this recording has shown me the next dimension...
I borrowed my brother's car and rummaged around the door pocket for some sounds and found this. It was my introduction to Daft Punk and this song blew my mind. I get goose bumps every time I hear of freeing yourself of pre conceptions. Great track and a real test of your hifi.

larg5847 yes I can see it the same way) and it's even interesting to compare this upload with official audio on DP's channel. And the record, it is very good;)
Listened to R.A.M. for the first time on vinyl last year and it really shook me how different and unique it sounded. This was an absolute standout track, as it was on the CD version. Pure beauty and the most wonderful allegory of dance and electro music. If you have not heard this played actual vinly, you have only heard 85% of what it's like. Enough to make you understand this exceptional.
I like how you recorded this at a lower volume. It really preserved the dynamic range much better, which is important when digitizing analog audio in any way. 100% volume on my computer is pretty much normal listening volume. XD
@Mike P Yeah, but the album still sounds great on either format. Hell, even the 256kbps lossy AAC files on iTunes sound pretty good (as long as Sound Check is enabled). That is what we call a well-mastered album (especially as the Loudness War continues to march on).
Just a thought, but you should check out Robert Plant & Alison Krauss: Raising Sand. It is a great sounding vinyl with some really dynamic tracks. I think many of your subscribers would enjoy this. My favorites are Rich woman and Fortune Teller. Thanks for sharing as always
Do you have any more of the old daft punk? Specifically their album Discovery, so many great songs, the album is as close to perfect as i have ever listened to in my life.
Bem haja ,

That's just genius.

Just saying but you kind of messed up by a lot of what he really said... Look up the lyrics...
"My name is Giorvanni Giogio but everyone calls me GiorGio"2:01
You said it like it was a bible quote lmao
Great, sounds better than the official Daft Punk Channel!
:-)
This is perhaps one of the best tribute to Mr. Giorgio Moroder. Well done daft punk.
Not just "perhaps one of the best", but this is without a doubt the best tribute to Giovanni Giorgio.
Goosebumps every time I'm listening to it

Psychedelic techno..daft punk should do a collab with radiohead.
I borrowed my brother's car and rummaged around the door pocket for some sounds and found this. It was my introduction to Daft Punk and this song blew my mind. I get goose bumps every time I hear of freeing yourself of pre conceptions. Great track and a real test of your hifi.
Thanks M.V.O for taking the time and effort for posting... One realy old git... Now smiling..
whoever posted this is genius...TY
+Who Knows
Yes i'm a genius, i know! LOL! :D
+MrVinylObsessive Wonder what the song Touch from that same album sounds like with your setup. Hint hint.
+thegrimyeaper
That one is also a great track and sounds nice, and maybe i will upload that song someday.
Hope so! That song goes from big orchestra to sudden silence, then just a voice. It's so powerful.
@@MrVinylObsessive :-)
I would love to hear more fantastic modern music on this channel! Thank you MrVinylObsessive! Your system is magical.
06:03 That bass line tho O.O
When I was fifteen, sixteen
When I started really to play guitar
I definitely wanted to become a musician
It was almost impossible because, it was
The dream was so big
That I didn't see any chance
Because I was living in a little town, was studying
And when I finally broke away from school
And became a musician
I thought "well, now I may have a little bit of a chance"
Because all I really wanted to do is music
And not only play music, but compose music
At that time, in Germany, in '69, '70
They had already discotheques
So I would take my car, would go to a discotheque
Sing maybe thirty minutes
I think I had about seven, eight songs
I would partially sleep in the car
Because I didn't want to drive home
And that helped me for about
Almost two years to survive
In the beginning
I wanted to do an album with the sounds of the fifties
The sounds of the sixties, of the seventies
And then have a sound of the future
And I thought "Wait a second
I know the synthesizer, why don't I use the synthesizer
Which is the sound of the future"
And I didn't have any idea what to do but I knew I needed a click
So we put a click on the 24-track
Which then was synced to the Moog modular
I knew that could be a sound of the future
But I didn't realize how much the impact would be
My name is Giovanni Giorgio, but everybody calls me Giorgio
Once you free your mind about a concept of
Harmony and of music being correct
You can do whatever you want
So nobody told me what to do
And there was no preconception of what to do
this commend is heavily underrated
now i understand why musicians prefer the sound of a vinyl
larg5847 yes I can see it the same way) and it's even interesting to compare this upload with official audio on DP's channel. And the record, it is very good;)
If u hear vinyl not from youtube its better..it breaths
And guitarists lamp amplifiers
@@zarkadiusz7 What is lamp amplifier?
@@fatherlandchild2780 vacuum tube amp, that's why it's called that it shines like a lamp during its work. :)
Always a great selection of songs, thank you for the pleasure!
I LOVE IT.
Dude, how it goes back to the metronome at the end!
Dude?, I know that was years ago, but now you have to say something like "bro":....get with it and update your shit.
Daft Punk did a whole tune named after one of the greatest composers of all time. I never knew about this before.
Random Access Memories is my favorite album of all time, and this was a track that went unjustly appreciated at its release.
The audio quality is off the charts. I wonder how hearing an actual vinyl track would feel like!!
@P Mc That's just the speakers! Theres deals to be had tho lol
Absolutamente impresionante Amigo !
this is the best sounding video of this song on vinyl! thank you so much!
Memorable times ! Yes Giorgio , you are great .....
This music gives me the urge to buy a personal computer from the 1980's.
Buy a Turntable Instead.
Best music sound quality on TH-cam
This is a new jewell of músic!!!!
I appreciate your posts and I really enjoy them. Keep up the good work
Thank you!
This song is poetry
Sounds so good, thanks!

This sounds amazing! I recently purchased this album in 192/24 FLAC off HD tracks and love it!
Shane Sexton where did you buy this song with that quality audio?
This track is solid proof of all the content you miss if you buy an album on CD or MP3 instead of vinyl.
@Mike P Yeah, but the album still sounds great on either format. Hell, even the 256kbps lossy AAC files on iTunes sound pretty good (as long as Sound Check is enabled). That is what we call a well-mastered album (especially as the Loudness War continues to march on).
Mike P I know. The reason why I say that is because when I was analyzing the files, I noticed a tiny bit of clipping going on.
Listen and travels back in time!
Thats what im looking for in music too,it hasto bring to a place ived never been.
Rock on!!!!
I love that AT 440MLa!
This needle is perfect!
I just upgraded from this to a Denon DL110 its even better.
EL SONIDO! impresionante!
This is my favorite song on RAM aside from Get Lucky. It’s part of the reason why I think RAM is the album of the decade.
The album of the millenium so far.
VISITED: 6:57 PM.

I don't know why but I really liked the bass line, so cool
Rhytmic and with texture isnt it?

Fantastic. Thank You!
You're welcome! :)
Absolutely fantastic find from the algorithm lords
With this quality of play back the very amall amount pops, the brain just ignors them.
Love your work. Excellent taste in music. The Ferret.
Great choice from the RAM album, thank you. Using a Denon and 2 Akgs here :feelsgood: , the difference is basically the loudness as some comments say.
My favorite song. It goes through a lot of movements.
what a B R I L L I A N T song! 1st hear for me, it sets the tone of the day... (and probbably for the upcomming 7 gap-days too)

At440 is no audiophile by any strech. It is a good bang for the buck cart nonetheless.
