Making the mouth piece is a pain in the ass. I tried it with wood and clay. I only managed to get a whistle from wood after hours of failing. But I will get back to trying. The problem is to get the Labium thin enough to get a sound and thick enough to not break.

Can you make more holes on it or does it have to be a 4 hole ocarina?
I wouldn't think so, but it probably also depends on the size and shape of the ocarina as well as the size of the holes.
