Next time you see someone struggling with modern tech respect and help them they might just be a time traveler
Haha😂
They are all time travelers, just slow ones most of the time.
I want to like this comment, but it’s at 333 and I don’t want to ruin it
@@tomato_6681 But sadly it has been ruined.
@@billbuffett2092 uh huh?
I like the act of this actress. So real. She felt everysecond as it was a real situation
i like her hair changes from tidy and stylist fo be like a witch
I agree, and not only her. Now that you mentioned it, mature actors made true Art. I was moved by Maja Schöne (Hanna) and Jördis Triebel (Katharina) performances
I was about to point the acting but I found your comment. Yeah, I mean, you actually think what she's supposed to. Really convincing
@@la4826 I am totally agree all actors did such a great job. Mature actors did it so perfect. I really enjoyed Dark I apreciate all the work and the result was just PERFECT
I felt that none of the acting was at all genuine.
The most accurate thing about this scene is Claudia’s old people typing.
Shit, I do it too and I am 35 :=D
@@martinm.1967 35 is not young brother :(
Adam and Eva are just noobs while Claudia is the real gangsta wrt time travel.
Two high school drop outs vs a nuclear physicist, it's obvious who will end up being correct.
Claudia be like: “Sit down kiddies, lemme show you how it’s done.”
Every Claudia in the infinite cycle adds to the next (gives new information to her younger self)
until she ultimately becomes the MVP of dark
@@KingOfForest22 well those school dropouts had made time machine
"you clearly don't know how this game is played"
“French delegation is still very annoyed at Claudia Tiedemann ignoring them, even 33 years later”
Lmao so true
Poor them
Theyre still sat in the waiting area for the reschedule.
French delegation opens their mouth.
Claudia: " Reschedule!!"
"It's all been digitized."
The look on Claudia's face and how she struggles a bit with the new tech. But I'm glad she catches on quick.
What I love about this scene is the realistic portrayal. When TV shows show us situation like these - a character interacting with future technology - it is often portrayed as if the people from the past are too dumb to ever understand what they have to do, they act like imbeciles.
Here, Claudia is startled and unsure about how to use the tech, but she observes and asks others and then catches on. She may be from the past and unaccustomed to our technology, but she is not dumb - in fact, she is a rather smart woman and as such it is realistic that she gets used to it quickly. Especially when you consider the fact that a product like a tablet is designed to be accessible and easy to learn.
Maritimus and she is also the only one who’s able to figure out the whole loop!
@@Maritimus89 rather smart...u sound so fool... she is a GENIOUS she is way beyond average inteligence she solves the endless knot and produces alternate version of herself to do so... have more respect for Claudia
@@ivanenhaced1751 she is so far the smartest character of Dark. From her childhood she was smart, did her study very well, worked hard, controlled her emotion like a pro, earned money by teaching Helga 😂. I really liked her character
@@ivanenhaced1751 Well, she is the only character with a scientific background
1:46 lol my grandpa smashes his finger on every touchscrenn too just like claudia
its literally the funniest thing, i dont even know, but i laugh too much every time -smash-
They trained typing on mechanical typewriters. It's a habit.
i explained that the screen detects the electrical difference caused by the touch of the skin to my grandpa , he told me that he toutgh that there were buttons behind the screen, now he uses it with no extra force to type or select.
Lol
I'm a gen z and even i do that😂😂😂
I love how realistic this scene is. She’s obviously struggling, but not even too much because she’s not that dumb after all. Love that
She's from the 80's, The technology isn't that different, she knows what a computer is. If Noah from the 20's was in the same situation, it would have been a real struggle. The poor dude wouldn't even know what a screen is.
I love how she types on the screen, just like old people🤣
they use to think that the screen works with buttons, not electrical touch.
Her punching the screen like it was.a typewriter was one of the best minor touches of the series.
@@aaronc4899 that wasnt a minor touch lol
The 1st time he touch the screen.. it looks so hard I cant stop laughing😅
I love how she touch the sides of the computer looking for the power button and even checks under the desk looking for the keyboard since old computer desk had a drawer for the keyboard.
I love Claudia. Every character in Dark is tragic but Claudia truly wants to save her father as daughter and she simply cannot flank fate.
*SPOILER ALERT*
Hopefully, she did save his daughter from dying at least. He had to send Jonas, but without her they were going to repeat the same mistakes forever.
Does anyone else live for her fabulous 80's fashion? 😂😂 I LOVED her outfits lol.
YAAAAAS
Well, she cared a lot about her looks.
i have found my people. i knew every gay person that watches Dark will root for Claudia..i mean look at her hair ✨
She rocked these looks ♥️
@@farhanrafi8481 Yes, best character until the end
She ate that role
improvise. adapt. overcome
Modern problems require modern solutions
Improvisieren, anpassen, überfinden
Who, when asked by someone confused if there is a keyboard, would just laugh and say "There isn't one."? Any normal human being with just a little bit of kindness would say: "That's a touch screen. Would you like me to show you?" That girl really annoys me, lol.
Even the iPad has a keyboard accessory. Maybe she just assumed Claudia wanted one of those, so laughing and saying that there isn’t one is not a ridiculous response. Touchscreens have been out for 15+ years, almost an entire human generation, assuming someone doesn’t know how to use one almost borders on offensive.
@@BoxStudioExecutive It still is a ridiculous response.
She still helps her to print out those things
She is the secret granddaughter of Hitler. That's why she acts like that.
Yesss, that bothers me a lot. I’d ask to go help her or something
1:20 she literally tried to pull the keyboard out from under the desk. I died at that scene. So real lol
Claudia was the best at playing time travelling cause she had understood all of its rules. She was driven by the desire to save her daughter. Her love for Regina made the strongest player.
@@chernobylmagpie6334 That's one of the main themes of the show, though, the lengths that parents will go to for their children. The whole loop only exists because of a father's love for his son.
Eva wanted to save her son, too, even if they both weren't supposed to exist. Adam wanted to save Martha at some point. Everyone wanted to save someone, but only Claudia and her family existed in the original world
Claudia is the real hero of DARK
This is one of my favorite scenes...the one when Claudia really showed what she was capable of doing, and how adaptable she was, and eager to understand her surroundings. Kudos to the actress

Please upload when claudia sees regina and cries because she has cancer
Very glad this was the first thing to come up when searching "Dark Claudia" on TH-cam. This solidified Claudia as my fav Dark character and this actress is incredible at conveying so much with just her facial expressions.
I liked her character the moment I saw her first scene. They made a good casting her as one of the main characters in this series. Hopefully we see more of her acting, maybe even in hollywood.
It hurts seeing her smashing her finger on the screen everytime 😭
This the single funniest scene in the series so dark
True..
also the scene with Woller explaining what happened to his eye and nearly hitting Claudia with his car lmao
@@memevolution9 the fact that both funny scenes involve Claudia
To be fair, she understand how to use it pretty quick. And I like how she types like a typewriter.
I wouldn't have manged to stay this focused on my mission and not just run around looking and all the cool new stuff
Fun factors in DARK: Cancellation of French Delegation. Woller’s eye mystery.
in the scene in 2020 you can hear on the radio that french scientists discover that during the apocalypse the time stopped for a split of a second.
My favorite character :)
The Best Player of Dark
for me Noah
same, she the best
The MVP!
she is a very beautiful and strong woman, the most powerful character in the series 👍
I agree, I love Claudia!
. she play the character very good, i can feel her nervous, afraid, and confuse just seeing her eyes.... good job
I cried when she disappears and a tear falls down her eyes plus the background music 💔
Btw this is an example of technology progress that doesn't comes with practical use. These touch screens are totally inconvienet when aren't used at mobile devices, it's much more comfortable to write on traditional keyboard.
I totally agree, especially with shitty plastic touchscreens like these ones lol
I love the detail that she's tapping so hard on the touchscreen bc she isnt used to it lol
The way Claudia touches the screen is great comedic relief.
I love the detail of her punching the "keys" like some people we know lol
*Claudia: the mastermind, the game changer*
Julika Jenkins did an amazing job with this scene. You can actually feel the emotikons of Claudia.
To be completely fair, I wouldn't have any idea on how to use those computers either. Like I'd imagine they were touch screens but aside from that I'd have no idea hahaha
You must be a boomer. Everyone knows how to use it

I love how she even taps the screen like a boomer (hard as HELL) it reminds me of my grandma ♥️ ❤️
Seeing how your father died and knowing when .... My heart hurts
I thought for a while whether those are actually commerialy available terminals and then I realized that's just an ipad in a sheet metal case
Claudia is by far the most badass character in this series, how she struggles to get out of the cycle, how she tries to save her family, even to kill herself.
The Best Player of Dark
Claudia is the real MVP !! ❤️ LOVE HER
Imagine traveling in future and knowing that your father is going to die and you can't do anything because everything is predetermined.
The Real Hero Of Dark.
The whole dark story is about her, not jonas.
Egon man.
No, no. It's about saving Tannhaus family.
@@antaress8128 and how did they work out to save his family?
Mark Campbell jonas nad martha travelled in the origin world and prevented the car crash
@@markjustdiditc Yes but in the end that was the whole point of the story was saving Tannhaus's family whilst Claudia's story was a side story, an important one but still a side story.
news
> she disappears without a trace
> his father is found dead
could it be a hint that she is the one who killed him and disappears without a trace
Such incredible acting. The collected exterior masking the sheer fascination and confusion, her quick intellect, the aggressive jabbing of the screen since she's used to physical buttons.
A fleeting moment of levity in a dark, dark show. Claudia's '80s get-up definitely takes the cake.
SEE DAD you can learn to use technological stuff by yourself!!!!
I am not sure if he is as smart as Claudia😂😂👍
Simple yet realistic incredible acting. Great workmanship!
Can imagine someone travels to 2123... same library, no screens, nothing just AI and your brain connected directly in to internet like wireless charger.
1:47 lol the way she tapped on the I Pad
the soundtrack for this show is next level
This actress, man. One of the best Ive seen..
I love how no one recognises Claudia Tiedemann, the first woman in Winden to run the PowerPlant who mysteriously disappears.
It was 33 years. No one would even consider that she's the same person. Except Regina, Tronte or maybe Alexander.
The way she was tapping on the screen..😂😂🙌
1:46 hahahaha awesome portayal of how older people use a touch screen
studying science was very imp in this series.. jonas martha went hardly to school
The real hero of the series ♥️ Her determination and selflessness in pursuing the ways of saving her daughter helped her to solve a rather complicated puzzle. During her teenage hood, Regina complained that her mother did not show any signs of attachment and that she was feeling abandoned the whole time. Ironically, Claudia’s main motive to break the never-ending cycle was her ultimate desire to save Regina from inevitable death. If this is cannot be called love, then what?
She was the one who solve how to break the knot while adam and eva did nothing but to compete which world is gonna be saved when the fact is they are only repeating the history.
Imagine the pain and confusion, when she knows everything about the past 33 years and she tries so hard to save her father. But he ends up dying the same way.
Time travel seems way more catastrophic and scary than we imagine.
For me, the best detail was how strong she touched the screen. Makes me remember when my parents used a smarphone by the first time.
Man that comic relief was very needed :D
She learned fast than I expected
this scene is definitely so impactful, i wouldn’t be able to stomach that even tho i’ve only been gone for a couple of hours turns out i’ve been actually missing for 30+ years
Claudia has always been my favorite character despite all her mistakes. she is very cool
I have to say, she quickly got the hand of a modern computer haha. 33 years and she caught up quick. Claudia was always smart in the show though. I guess being someone who used a computer in the 1980s daily in her job though, she would have an advantage on 99% of people from 1987 who will have never used a PC. It was just the touch screen for her that was weird. Everything else like searching for articles she could figure out by reading the screen
At first, I was like what's the point of Regina having but it all made sense in the final season.
how hard she pushes on the screen. so real.
I am just glad she didn't break that screen!
i'd probably panick if i was in her situation by not knowing how to operate what's in front of me
Just here to say that Claudia is my favorite character since season 1
She is so perfect, here in Brazil there is an actress who seems so much like her! i would like to see some interview with julika but never found!
que atriz parece com ela?
Juan Tsukino Sandra Corveloni
I love Claudia’s character and this scene in particular. ☺️ I wonder if I would cope as well travelling 33 years into the future.
Claudia is very intelligent woman all though she struggles to understand how the touched screen computer work and use it like my grandma by pressing really hard on the screen but she understand it really quick
Probably my favorite character of the show. And the actress was amazing!
It's sad that this is the most lighthearted scene in the entire series
pushing it like typewriter
The one and only julika Jenkins
Middle age claudia is my favourite character
just realize I still have the same 80s samsonite leather briefcase from my mom
Wonderful example of German attitudes. Coming from a German myself.
Friendly "Where can I find this please?"
Grumpy "It's digitised" and walks off
Friendly "Is there a keyboard for this?"
Weirded out "Don't exist" and turns away
It wouldn't hurt our country people to be a bit more kind and helpful to another sometimes, ya know.

Tbf, she figured it pretty quickly.
1:46 LMAOOOOOO
The first touchscreen was invented in 1965 by Eric A. Johnson who worked at the Royal Radar Establishment in Malvern, England. His first article, "Touch display-a novel input/output device for computers" describes his work and features a diagram of the design.
I am feeling the pain of each character. Each on a voyage towards time to achieve the goal of saving their loved ones.
My favorite character.
Lol she's like modern German struggling to digitize its society more. A big issue in Germany.
