▶ In this video I present a comparison of the two European and neighbouring countries of Germany and Poland. Starting with a comparison of both countries' flags and coat of arms, demonstrating their interesting differences and similarities. Then going into their territorial history and providing some historical context regarding their shared history and struggles throughout time; namely the various partitions of Poland and the more recent Polish annexation of old German Imperial territories after World War 2. Then, I compare their territory today, focusing on their size but also on their border which follows the Oder Neisse rivers. I then move onto to a brief infrastructure comparison, namely on railways and roads. Moving on to a population comparison: size, distribution, density, demographics, life expectancy, immigration. Then comparion both countries' religion paradigms and showing how Poland is mostly Catholic, while Germany is divided between Catholics, Protestants and Non-Religious people. Comparing government types and currencies (one using the Euro and the other using the Zloty), as well as the two States' military forces. Finally taking a look at their economies, GDP, GDP per Capita, Gini Coefficient, Wealth Distribution, Average Salaries, Inflation and Unemployment. As well as the Human Development Index values, briefly mentioning security and safety too. To wrap up this video I mention the two languages they speak: German and Polish respectively, and how despite being very different they also have some words of common origin.

These countries cannot be compared, because Germany was able to develop after WW2, although theoretically defeated, they could normally build industry, their own brands and get rich. Poland not only lost 1/5 of its area, was devastated and robbed, but also became a Soviet colony.

@@sassenspeyghel4155 Not exactly, because West Germany has a much larger population and territory than East Germany, and not only was West Germany not robbed like the Soviets robbed the area "donated" to Poland (they even stole entire railway lines). In addition West Germany was able to develop normally, build its brands, benefit from the support of the USA (Marshall Plan). As for the 1/5 of the area in the east lost by Poland, these were very fertile lands, also rich in natural resources (coal, gas, etc.). In addition, Stalin's goal was to quarrel Poles and Germans who were driven from their homes by the decision of the victorious powers (and NOT Poland).

@dgsidecarscom To some extent, the fates of communist East Germany and communist Poland were similar, but not entirely, because East Germany was a "model" country for the Soviets to compare with the West, hence the greater economic support (or rather less exploitation). Polish communism was destroyed by the economic crisis in the 1980s, which in turn resulted from earlier years of indebtedness and stupid decisions in the economy. The biggest difference occurred in the 90s because Germany had a rich western part that could invest in the east and immediately introduce a normal legal and social system. Poland had to and still has to do everything on its own, with the support of the EU.

Statistic about young people living with their parents is not true for one important reason. In Poland there is no urge to inform the authorities that you do not live with your parents anymore. Many people practicaly move out when they are 19 and go to university, but they stay registered at parent's house, because the dorm at the university is not seen as permanent domicile. Then they can live with their partner for years, but the official adress will probably change, let's say, around 35th birthday, when they buy their own apartment.
Personal example: many of my Polish friends, age 30-32, live abroad, but are registered at parent's to have also a Polish adress. They all moved out when they were 19-23.
In Germany the registration right after moving to a new place is a big deal and you have to have it done quickly, even if you live in a dorm.

Yes, that's just a minor detail on the other hand, is more important that this video is nonsense because of some serious errors. Poland had 40 million population before the Ukrainian war because of the migrants from Ukraine and Belarus but also from other countries, whereby the migration from the Ukraine was increased by the Ukrainian war. If one does not want to accept these migrants as a Polish population, one should also subtract the migrants from the German population. Then Germany would have at least 10 million fewer inhabitants, although that would probably 15 million less. If you doubt that, you just have to See streets in German cities where the migrants are often in the majority and take a German subway where often are no Europeans in the subway compartment. The alleged number of Poles who live in Germany is also wrong. According to the German wiki link Polen in Detuschland (Poles in Germany), 783,085 Poles lived in Germany in 2016. So that's significantly less than the absurd number of 2-3 million Poles who allegedly live in Germany. There are also significantly more Muslims in Germany than erroneously 3.6% indicate in the video. This false number is spread by the government in order not to soothe the German population. The real number of Muslims in Germany is about 10% and it is increasing all the time. New mosques are constantly being built in Germany, which is also illustrated by the large number of Muslims. Muezzin prayer call is now normal in many German cities because this country is becoming more and more oriental. The number of troops of the Polish Army was also incorrectly stated in the video, as the Polish number of troops today is 207,000. 172,000 regular army soldiers and 35,000 soldiers belonging to the territorial defense force. The Polish Army also wants to increase the number of soldiers in the army to 300,000 + 50,000 Territorial Defense Force. It is also absurd to claim that the crime rate cannot be compared because of the different populations. Because the crime rates are calculated per 100,000 inhabitants! The crime rate in Germany is twice as high as in Poland. Whether murder rate, robbery rate or rape rate all much higher than in Poland! Why is that so? Does that have anything to do with the different migration policies?
In any case, it should also be mentioned in this video that Poland is poorer today than the Germans because of the Germans. This difference in wealth is the direct result of the extreme damage done to Poland by the Germans. The fact that this Nazi nation murdered 6 million Polish citizens was definitely not good for the Polish economy. Because not only did the Germans completely ruin Poland's economy with the raid in 1939 and the occupation of 1939-45, but they also directly caused the occupation of Poland by the Soviets through their raid. The Soviets have imposed with violence a communist economic system on Poland for almost 50 years, which was very harmful to Poland's economy. The communist system was also a hindrance to the rebuilding of Poland after the war! On the other hand much of the ignominious Nazi nation that was responsible for at least 55 million deaths, most of them murdered in genocide, was able to rebuild their country and economy after the war by means of in the beneficial capitalist economic system. Yes, a large part of the Germans in West Germany could enjoy the benefits of the capitalist system, while the Poles had to suffer under communism. Because a large part of the Nazi nation was not punished for their heinous crimes after the Second World War, they were actually rewarded by the Americans! Yes, the Americans give the Nazi nation a lot of money with the so-called Marshall Plan Aid and in addition, the western victors waived the national debts of the Nazi nation, because the Nazi country was already bankrupt before the war due to the massive rearmament. Indeed, the Nazi nation then became the ally of the western victors and was absorbed into NATO in 1955, with the army being built up by criminal Nazi generals. So in the 50s, most of Germans became the ally of the West. (West Germany). However the problem was that this Nazi nation was completely megalomaniac, mad, criminal, amoral and degenerated! The West could not be allied to a morally degenerate Nazi nation that has murdered millions of children, among other crimes. So they were practically systematically washed clean to be tolerable as allies. So they were washed clean by propaganda (Western historians / media / politicians / Hollywood etc.) and the blame was put on relatively few Nazis. So there was also a Western whitewashing campaign that whitewashed Germans from the Guilt and laid the blame on relatively few Nazis. This pro-German whitewashing propaganda is continued to this day. The propagandists even claim that the Germans were liberated in 1945. I have read and heard this lie more often that the Germans were allegedly liberated. LIBERATED! As e.g. the title of this TH-cam video shows. "Liberation of Munich April 30 1945" th-cam.com/video/RtCvjD56Kkc/w-d-xo.html the title is not the occupation of Munich by the Americans, which would correspond to historical facts. No, a lie is being spread about liberation! An unbelievable lie in which from the victory over this evil Nazi nation with the subsequent multi-annual occupation is made a LIBERATION. This white wash of the Germans of course bothers the Poles. But what bothers Poland certainly doesn't interest the shameful and pathetic West. No, their historians, politicians and journalists mendacious make Poland some kind of ally of the Nazis in the genocide against the Jews. Of course not the allies of the Germans, because the culprits were only and exclusively the Nazis!
As for the absurd talk about the alleged Polish-German friendship, that's ridiculous, because it doesn't exist. The fact that Poland is in NATO and the EU together with the Germans is pure pragmatism. This has nothing to do with friendship! Despite the Germans, Poland is in NATO and the EU, not because of the Germans. This nation is absolutely incapable of friendship with Poland. They are much too arrogant, insulting and megalomaniac for that! Friendship with this very unpleasant nation is ruled out not only because of the murder of 6 million Polish citizens and the ruin of Poland, but also because of their insolence today. So their historians, journalists and politicians are also very keen to take part in the outrageous defamation campaign which falsely makes Poles some kind of ally of the Nazis in committing genocide against the Jews. It is self-explanatory when their journalists, historians and politicians defame Poles as an ally, not of the Germans, but of the Nazis. So they also constantly use the term Nazis not Germans whose supposed allies were the Poles as do the mendacious western propagandists. Just as they defame Poles, they wash themselves clean with the help of the gigantic Western mendacious propaganda machine. They spread all sorts of lies about Poland's past, and I only told a fraction of the lies. The German media and politicians also defame today's Poland as a kind of non-democracy, spreading the lie that allegedly the Polish judicial system does not conform to democratic standards and that there is allegedly no freedom of the press in Poland. Yes, of all things, Germans shamelessly defame Poland in this way, whereby their legal system does not correspond to democratic standards. Here is the information regarding the German judiciary system that does not meet democratic standards. One can find out in this german link (Richterwahlausschuss - Wikipedia) about the German judge election procedure and how much this procedure violates democratic standards. Translated from this German Wiki link "Richterwahlausschuss" ( Judicial Selection Committee)! "The judicial election process in Germany is worthy of criticism because of the lack of transparency of the process and that in the election in addition to the professional qualifications and the party-political orientation of the candidates play a role. Experts speaks of "party patronage" and "personal expansion of power of the political parties". The authority responsible for the selection and career of judges is not independent of the executive in Germany. If Germany were not already in the EU, Germany would be a problematic candidate for accession ... " The German Constitutional Court, which is almost exclusively made up of party members from influential parties, certainly does not meet democratic standards either. Incidentally, in Germany all public prosecutors up to and including the Federal Public Prosecutor are appointed by active party politicians of the governing parties (Ministers of Justice). This is a judicial system steeped in political influence that does not at all meet democratic standards. Germans with this miserable legal system then dare to defame Poland as undemocratic because of the allegedly democratic standards not corresponding legal system. In Germany, left-wing journalists completely dominate the media and such one-sided dominance also contradicts democratic principles. But especially the Germans with media, which do not do justice to the democratic standards at all. dare to defame Poland as a country without freedom of the press. But there are also various other impudence of this nation!
      I continue the comment below.

Let's ignore the fact that they murdered my grandpa and enslaved the other grandpa and didn't pay a cent in compensation for it. They supposed to be our friends? For real? This nation should be our friend who refuses to pay compensation to the entire Polish nation to this day, even though they have extremely damaged our country and completely ruined our country. They paid compensation to the Western European countries. But they refuse to pay Poland! Poles want the Germans to finally pay the justified reparation debts because these are national debts that are inherited. But the Germans definitely refuse to pay. Incidentally, this is how the Germans dare to treat Polish victims. An old Polish woman, during the German occupation 9 years and her mother were imprisoned from the Germans in death camp Auschwitz. They were there for about a month and then were freed! Her father was murdered in this death camp! This Polish woman wanted money for her grandchildren and applied for compensation from the Germans! The Germans sent her a 5 Deutsch Mark (2,5 Euro) check, with the remark that this is not compensation from the German side, but a "gesture of goodwill"! A gesture of "goodwill"! The Germans still refuse to pay compensation to Poland for the damage caused by the German occupation.
They show their masked face to the western nations. The face of the purified Germans. Towards Poland, Germans often show the true German face! Pure outrageous arrogance! For example on German TV, Poles are regularly portrayed in jokes with the punchline that we are criminals and our women are called as prostitutes in jokes! This is politically correct in Germany! These are very popular jokes in Germany! By the way, Poles are also the millions of Poles who were murdered by the them. These jokes defame these murdered Poles too! I could name many more examples of their outrageous arrogance! Germans who defame the Poles with such jokes are supposed to be friends of the Poles? NO these are not our friends.
But the Germans will soon stop laughing! The Germans obviously have no problem with being colonized. Perhaps because of self-loathing, they allow millions of culturally completely foreign Orientals from the middle east to colonize the own country. Because it's amazing what's happening in Germany because the German allow millions of culturally completely foreign Orientals to colonize the own country. Yes they accept their colonization! Because tens of millions come from them and settle the country the term colonization is totally appropriate. By the way, Wiki quote: "Colonization is sometimes used synonymously with settling." Already today there are about 10% of Orientals in this country. Which are a kind of aliens. It is no coincidence why Germany has twice the crime rate compared to Poland. Even before the Ukraine war, Poland had millions of migrants from Ukraine. Yes, Poland is an immigration country. And the Ukrainians have no problem integrating in Poland. They are Europeans like the Poles and will be assimilated if they live longer in Poland. This did not significantly increase the Polish crime rate. On the other hand, Orientals and Africans immigrated to Germany. The result of this immigration is an extremely increased crime rate. It's not racism if one state it, one is just describing reality. Everyone knows that these migrants form parallel societies and that must do not integrate and adapt. The Orientals also give their children Oriental first names and not German first names. There can be no talk of an assimilation of most anyway. Due to this failure to integrate, there are social problems that lead to increased crime. In addition, crime is also increased by special cultural aspects of the countries of origin. Like, for example, these migrants come from Klan-influenced societies, which leads to klan crimes. Religion is also a reason why integration fails and the crime rate increases. The Ukrainians come from a Christian country. The Orientals and many Africans, on the other hand, are Muslims. This results in terrorism, but also crimes such as the genital cutting of girls or the murder of homosexuals or honor killings. Incidentally, this migration also leads to an increase in crime among Germans themselves, because it is also a crime if one attacks migrants and migrant camps, threaten migrants and hunts or even kills them.
Already today there is a big conflict in this country of the "natives" against the orientals, although the orientals have reached until now only about 10% of the population in this country. Only a small percentage is assimilated. Most wanted to keep their oriental identity! Moreover, this religion also prevents integration, in addition to the completely different culture, because the migrants feel superior to the native Germans because of their religion, which makes integration even more difficult. Because when you feel superior, you certainly don't conform to those who are inferior. Failed integration due to extremely different cultures is the norm for millions of Orientals in this country. Let's see what will happen when 20% or 30% of the population will be Orientals. Because of that there will be chaos and civil war for supremacy. Already today radicals including soldiers and police officers are already setting up weapons depots and planning armed struggle with the aim of overthrowing the government. The presages of the civil war are already clearly visible today. In Germany there was already a planned coup d'état with the participation of former officers of special forces of the army! It was planned to overthrow the government and replace it with a new provisional government. 3000 police officers with special task forces were deployed to arrest those responsible. A few months before this attempted coup d'etat, another far-right group wanted to provoke a civil war to overthrow the government! The German Criminal Police Office (BKA) recorded a total of 44,692 politically motivated crimes in 2020. These have increased by 8.5 percent compared to the previous year and are therefore at a new high according to the BKA. Propaganda crimes, insults and incitement to hatred made up more than half (57.3 percent) of all reported crimes. The other half are violent crimes. Right-wing extremist crimes accounted more than half of all this crimes registered in 2020. The other half are Islamist and left-wing extremists crimes. Many mosques are already being built today and there is more and more resistance to it! There is a growing demand for Muslim dietary laws to be taken into account in society. There are more and more conflicts regarding religious clothing. The Orientals also give their children Oriental first names and not German. Female teachers only want to work with their hair covered. It is demanded that girls in schools should have the opportunity to be taught with their hair covered. Girls should not participate in physical education and swimming lessons. The Christmas markets are actually renamed Winter markets. . Because the country should be de-Christianized. Let's see when there will be ramaḍān markets etc. etc. etc. In this German video one can see Germany's future with fully veiled girls! Children's street festival in Berlin with islamic veiled little girls! th-cam.com/video/ByvcTkXhsCE/w-d-xo.html There are also additional Arabic street signs on German streets as this video also shows. th-cam.com/video/Jta9hppHxd8/w-d-xo.html Germany celebrates its first Arabic language street sign! In the meantime are currently about 3000 mosques in Germany!
Such news can then be read in the German media, which point to the coming civil war. "Right-wing extremists are becoming more and more radical!" "Left-wing extremists are becoming more and more radical!" "Islamic fundamentalism is becoming more and more radical!" "Attacks on refugee camps by right-wing extremists." "A group of Left-wing extremist seriously injured two right-wing extremists in Erfurt in a planned ambush." "Hundreds of masked left-wing extremists riot in Berlin!" "On New Year's Eve there were riots by orientals in various German cities. Fires were started. Firefighters trying to put out a burning bus had to flee from an oriental mob. Even ambulances were attacked and damaged. Police officers were also attacked." In the few German media that are not controlled by the left wingers in Germany, these oriental riots were seen as a demonstration of power by the Oriantals in Germany. The online offshoot "Zeit Online" of the German left-wing newspaper "Zeit", which is very well respected in Germany, has posted on Twitter that "the Germans will lose power in their own country. The Germans will become a minority in their own country. Non-Germans will take over power in the country!" But when the German journalists realized how explosive these sentences were, the article was deleted. But the internet never forgets and various people have already reported on the article.
A civil war for supremacy in the country is therefore likely with about 30% oriental population! The future of this country will definitely be violent! These are all consequences of radical left-wing politics in Germany!

Interestingly, the motorway speed limit of 140 km/h is also one of the highest in the world, shared with Bulgaria and the state of Texas (85 mph). Only a strip of motorway connecting Abu Dhabi and Dubai has a higher limit of 160 km/h, while Germany has no hard limit, but an advisory speed of 130 km/h, above which you are always at least partially liable in case of accidents.

By the way, this video is nonsense because of some serious errors.

These are all consequences of radical left-wing politics in Germany!

of course, the historical aspect was taken in favor of germany.. the dispute over the city of danzig, the creator of this material presented as if it was always german, ignoring its origins and affiliation to plc. the issue of borders is the same problem. German control over the present Polish lands is clearly stated, but how far to the west the borders of Poland once stretched and that even Dresden under Bolesław Chrobry belonged to Poland and Lubusz was called the gate to Poland is completely passed over. starting the history of relations between the two countries with the Teutonic Order is also a joke and completely ignoring the history of relations (sometimes very positive) until then. in general, it looks like a compilation of basic information without going into depth and with motives resulting from specific sympathies.

4:33 How? How could we have so little people? 🤔
I wonder if it's connected with how people were MURDERED during WWII and even after that Poland was betrayed and left behind an iron curtain so some people couldn't return back home due to repressions from the soviets and even more people were leaving even in the 2000s just because Poland wasn't the greatest of places to live and earn a good living, since, you know. The Germany (the western part) had a thing called Marshall plan and that basically helped early day Germany to fix itself. You can see the aftereffects even now by looking at the eastern Germany where Population density is less than the west, and more like in Poland.
Then take Poland, where we had no marshall plan, not even reparations and even we had this thing called nowadays russia parasiting and stealing whatever it can.
Oh, also. If you say that Poland refused reparations then get help. Poland was not a free country until around 1991.

    Fun fact
In 1939, Poland had about 35 million inhabitants. At the same time, Spain (mainland) had 25 million inhabitants, Switzerland 4.2 million and Brazil 40 million.
In 2020, Spain, which did not experience losses during the Second World War, had 47 million inhabitants, and Switzerland 8.5 million. Proportionally, if Poland had developed demographically like Spain or Switzerland, we would now have about 66-70 million people. This is only a guess, but it is worth noting that in both countries where there were no war-related population losses, the population more or less doubled between 1939 and 2020, and in Poland it changed by about 10%.

The southern part, if left on the river, would divide a city called Szczecin in half, so Stalin decided to give that region to Poland (I'm from there, very beautiful city, similar to Wroclaw). The northern part is on an island and was handed over to Poland to allow an internal waterway to Szczecin because of the harbour. Other than that very cool video :D

    • @GreatPolishWingedHussars
      @GreatPolishWingedHussars 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

How can you call this nonsense a cool video? This video is nonsense because of some serious errors.

So instead of "Granika" its "Granitsa" for example.
And the word "burmistrz" is pronounced "boor-mees-tzh" with zh/rz sounding like a French "j" in "Je Taime" and such.
Other than those painful but understandable mistakes 😂 this video is very well done.

This video is nonsense because of some serious errors.

    • @GreatPolishWingedHussars
      @GreatPolishWingedHussars ปีที่แล้ว +2

Poland lost a lot of its population in WW2. Based on some researchers it was even 20% of total number of people living (so it was 6-7 millions of people from estimated 35 to 38 millions people in 1938) on territory of Poland.
Mostly polish jews but not only them. After partitions of Poland in 18 century, all national uprisings in 19 century and WW2 there was also big emigration movement and nowadays +/- 21 millions of Poles or people of polish heritage live abroad (10 millions in US only, 1 million in Canada and +/- 1,5 million in Brazil).
If you take into consideration all those pop loses in last 200 years, no polish state for over 100 years, and politics of germanization and russification in occupied terititoris I'm almost sure that population of Poland would be much bigger nowadays. Some of those loses are our own fault (the biggest reason for partitions of Poland was lack of strong rulers in 17 and 18 century and strong aristocracy (szlachta and magnats - nowadays oligarchs) putting their wishes and needs over our own country, destroying it in the process (partitions were results of those changes not reason for it).
Second thing that you need to take into consideration is that after Yalta agreements between Stalin and Allies Poland lost a lot of it eastern territory (Kresy wschodnie) in exchange for German (before WW2) lands of Silesia, Masuria, Warmia, Pomerania and Kashubia (so called "ziemie odzyskane" - land reclaimed, that were part of Poland in one form or another in the past - from 10th century to 18 - not all the time, just for period of time). This situation also decreased number of "citizens" because before war in Poland was a lot of minorities. In 1938 Poles accounted for only 68% of population so they was like 24 millions of Poles in Poland. There was a lot of other nationalities like Jews, Belarusians and Ukrainians living in 2RP (second Rzeczpospolita). After WW2 and border changes Soviets politics repatriated almost all Poles from western territories into those newly "acquired" lands and almost all minorities landed behind PRL (Polish People Republic) borders.
It resulted in one of most homogenous country population wise in Europe nowadays, where over 95% of its population is declaring Polish nationality as it basic one. When you take numbers into account less then 24 millions of polish people after WW2 changed into 38 nowadays, almost doubling it size, when Germany pop after the war was +/- 68 millions of people compared to 84 nowadays. In cold war period there was almost no migration in or out of Poland, almost no foreign investments and only now it is slowly changing from EU membership, demographic reasons + war in Ukraine, when western part of Germany was open and invested in by USA and western Europeans countries all this time.
Its really hard to compare Germany to Poland for a lot of reasons - both our countries lost WW2 one way or another and both are still paying the price for it, but the most important thing is to never again let those thing happen between us and live our lives peacefully and working together for better future, helping Ukraine to have this better future together with us.

Helping to strangle Ukraine's a peace process is de facto harming Ukraine, and in the same time Poland (and in the bigger frame - world). On some fields is just simple a crime (Poland probably gave Ukraine not only ammo & guns + espionage for targeting civilians, but is also providing Zelensky with cluster munition, produced by Bumar Labedy). Poland lost II WW, but only due to Stalin's subjective decisions, it won a huge chunk of German lands. Which is the biggest win, win, Poland couldn't ever dream of, and a big leap for today's economic prosperity.

    • @Keeper_89
      @Keeper_89 ปีที่แล้ว

@@mourdebars Too much Russia Today or other similar media outlets;)
First of all - it's Russia that attacked Ukraine not other way around, and Ukrainians CHOSE to defend territories of their own country and they have rights to do it, and they are still doing so. No one told them to do it, nor to not stop doing it. If Russians wanted to "protect" Russian speaking people so badly they could repatriate them back into lands of Russia - they don't need new territories. They had biggest country in the world, and enough money from gas and oil sales to settle them in. But Russian "elites" needs new yachts, dachas and golden spoons so there is no money for plebs.
Second - Poland can't provide any reliable intelligence services - we don't have capabilities to do so. Our politics destroyed them long time ago. Intelligence services are provided mostly by UK, USA and France. And attacking civilian targets is Russian domain not other way around.
Third - Russia is attacking civilian buildings, food chain industries, museums and churches using rockets, cluster ammo and god only know what else, when some crazy people up there are still trying to scare world with nuclear strikes and destroying power plants and Ukraine can't use cluster ammo why? Poland did't sign international convention, neither did Ukraine or (sic!) Russia so can't blame either of sides of providing or using it. Russian elites understand only 2 languages - money and military strength so it's the only way to "communicate" with them.
Fourth - those German lands were devastated to the ground, cities destroyed, houses in ruin and all industrial capacity were bombed or striped away and transported back to Soviet Union. Poles coming into those territories needed to rebuild them from the scratch, so did my grandparents moving into these land from modern day Belarusian territories.
Fifth - Stalin was madman - so it's hard to comment any of his decisions as good one. Killing millions of his own citizens on whim is not good prognostic for a good leader. Mr. Putin is going his way. Something about mad leaders is tradition in Russia. Allies deciding to work with him after the war was the worst decision of that war - that is still biting west ass nowadays.
Looking at what is going on in Russia nowadays it's look more like it is Russia who will brake first and guess who will be there to take some free land from them - Chinese not Ukraine or NATO countries, but their own ally who is controlling parts of Siberia indirectly even today. Most secure and peaceful border that the Russian had before war was their western border, but Russians elites were afraid that the Ukraine common people will show their Russian counterparts that there is better live without corruption and oligarch controlling everything in their lives. If Russia would move their soldier back behind their internationally recognized borders the war would be over, but so would be parts of lives of Russian "elites" with Mr Putin on top so it's better to send wave after wave of their own people to die then move back to their own territory.
Sorry if I missed some of your points and please don't expect any more responses from me. Have a great day in your own small world.

"Did you notice any mistakes" - yesssir. Minor one - "granica" is pronounced "granitsa", Polish c = English "ts", except for few exception in loan words (mostly English, and some Latin ones).
    While at it:
Pomeranien (or Vorpomeranien), northern province in Germany gets its name from Polish "pomorze" ("by/ at the sea, seabord", as morze [mozhe] means "a sea" in Polish - not to be confused with its homonym, "może", which means "maybe/ possible, ~ly" or "could be").
Polish "ratusz" [ratush] comes from German "Rathaus", a City Hall, not a house infested by rats.
Polish "poczta" (a post and a post office) probably comes from German "post". "Bruk", a "cubic" type of a cobblestone comes from German "Brücke", a bridge - as this type of pavement )back then a very expensive one) was first used on bridges, and it is still reflected in Russian, where this type of pavement is called мостовая (mostovaya, an adjective-like noun meaning "of/ from/ related to a bridge"; however a Russian word брюки, that sounds pretty much like "bruki", plural for "bruk" means "trousers", but I digress here ;-)
Polish "warsztat" [var-shtat], a workshop, comes from German "werkstatd", literally a place (stadt) of work (werk), or a workplace.
And then there's this common and colloquial Polish expression, a verb "oszwabić" [oshvabitch, with very soft "ch"] which means "to cheat someone thoroughly while preserving all pretences of legality, and it stems from a rather derogatory term "Szwab", plural "Szwaby" [shvab/ shvaby] that stems from Schwaben, or Swabia, a region in southwestern Germany, and the closes English approximation of that "Szwab" would be "Jerry" or "Kraut".
    Speaking of which...
Well, "and so on, and so forth" I, could go for hours blabbering about loan words in both German and Polish, but then there's one IMPORTANT thing that your video never addressed, and it is the fact that Poland and Germany are "friends" pretty much like Greece and Turkey are "friends".
Yes, they both are in NATO now, in EU (not the case in the case of Turkey) and they do maintain "good and working" relations, sorta - but that's pretty much about it.
"Marriage of convenience" at best, although "frenemies" or "managing inherent and inescapable conflicts in the best possible manner" would be the more accurate description.
Or, "best friends ever", where that "EVER" is the operative - meaning "now we are the best 'friends' that we ever have or had been", but that's not to be confused with "friends, period" - as virtually ALL goals of Polish and German "raison d'etat" are pretty much opposite and on a conflict path (with few exceptions).

WTF> Wha old German lands??? Most of these areas belonged to Poland for most of the last thousand years, with a short 123-year break (the period of Poland's partitions, mainly in the 19th century). Let me remind you that for hundreds of years, Gdańsk was a Polish port, whose development was promoted by Polish kings. It fell into the hands of Prussia only at the end of the 18th century, after which it returned to Poland for a few years (in the Napoleonic era, a large part of Poland regained independence, but then lost it again for several dozen years). In the interwar period, Gdansk was a so-called free city governed by Poland and Germany (although it should have returned to Poland after Poland regained its independence in 1918). The funniest thing is that you called the former German territories the area where the Polish state was born in the 10th century. These areas were under German occupation only during the partitions of Poland, generally in the 19th century.
I also remind you that Lower Silesia fell into German hands only in the mid-18th century. It was inhabited by Poles, and was also part of the Polish Kingdom from the 10th century to the 14th century, and then for 200 years an independent Polish principality - ruled by a branch of the Polish royal Piast dynasty, and for the next 200 years - these lands were in the Czech Kingdom.

You completely ignore many things to make it fit ur polish view.
The first inhabutants of Danzig were germanic tribes.
And even when it was slavic (slavic doesnt necessarly means polish at that time) the germans already settled there 1184-1185. They had an HUGE impact on the economy of Danzig and 1224-1225 a german rights city was founded in Danzig. 1440 Danzig first was not under any german control. And even then it was not included into poland. Then when Danzig was on the polish site in the 13 years war the king of Poland gave them much privileges and almost fully autonomy. Then after that in the 16-17 centuries Danzig had its golden time as an independent hanseatic city. Even in the 30years war it remained independent. then the already long independent situation got attacked by POLAND 1557. Yes by Poland but the city survived and stay independent. Then in the second polish Swedish War 1654-1660 Danzig allied with poland and got again more rights which strengthen the independenc. Only 1793 there came an end to the independence of the city when they decided (Population and City council) to join Prussia (German Prussia) Then Danzig had its darkest times during frensh Invasion when 1807 Danzig got conquered and frensh polish and saxons (german) gave independence again to the city and the city lost most of its population. Then 1871 it was in the german kaiserreich. And the rest we all know. To say Danzig is rightfully german or rightfully polish is completely bullshit. It has a rich history and was a big part in german and polish history BOTH. Now it's mostly polish populated so it doesn't make sense to try to get it back to germany. But before ww2 the population was almost fully german so it was also not good to ethnic cleanse the german population from their homes even when the nazis did horrible stuff. So it's never good to erase the people from somewhere. Rn its polish and thats it. still you shouldnt deny its german history such as many polish regions.

Well, the Marshall Plan is generally overrated. It was simply a loan that West Germany had to repay. And it wasn't money either, it was mostly agricultural products from overproduction in the USA worth 1.4 billion US dollars. It helped get through the famine years a little, but to say that it rebuilt all of West Germany is a fairy tale. No, the upswing in the West German economy was due to the fact that, due to the expulsion of people from the East, there were suddenly 14 million more people in West Germany, all of whom started doing something. In addition, after the war, Western countries had a great need to catch up on consumer goods, which Germany could produce and deliver very quickly and cheaply. I was born in ruins in 1948 and I know how quickly everything was rebuilt. I know that my father worked like an ox and always did overtime. He worked for a supplier to a shipyard that built one ship after another. West Germany's Goßindustrie was 80% destroyed, but the infrastructure was still there. Furthermore, the loss of prewar technology meant building new technology that was suddenly more efficient and productive compared sa in countries that had lost nothing. As I said, this applied to West Germany, not to East Germany, where there was also a permanent exodus from East to West as long as the Iron Curtain was not yet completely closed.

Its because Polish City of Szczecin would be split in two leaving Port of Szczecin in Polish side and Most of the city in German effectively killing the cities dockyard industry which was very important in 40s when border was drawn by the soviets. The border also cuts Island of Uznam in two parts Polish (town of Świnoujście) and german (rest of Uznam) effecticely giving Poland full control of straight between islands of Uznam and Wolin which is main sea route into city of Szczecin. Credit to Wikipedia: "After the defeat of the Danes at the Battle of Bornhöved in 1227," explains Udolph, "the region south of the Baltic Sea, which was then inhabited by Slavs, became available for colonization by the Germans." The bishops and dukes of Pomerania, Brandenburg, Uckermark and Prignitz sent out glib "locators", medieval recruitment officers, offering rich rewards to those who were willing to move to the new lands. Thousands of young adults from Lower Saxony and Westphalia headed east. And as evidence, about a dozen Westphalian place names show up in this area. Indeed there are five villages called Hindenburg running in a straight line from Westphalia to Pomerania, as well as three eastern Spiegelbergs and a trail of etymology from Beverungen south of Hamelin to Beveringen northwest of Berlin to Beweringen in modern Poland.

You made a HUGE mistake by describing only numbers of soldiers. As a person experienced in military topics I have to sadly say that Polish Army is far behind german one in quality and the recent upgrades done to the polish army are still not enough to be even comparable to the german one. Polish weaponry is a commercial fail compared to german weaponry that is bought or licensed in numerous huge countries.

Poland coat of arms is a reference to the coat of arms of Przemysł II - king of Poland in 1295-96. He is the first Polish king that use eagle in his coat of arms. There is still debate what kind of bird was used by Bolesław on his coins, but there is no written record that he used the eagle as a coat of arms.

Poland is now in the preference of Nato and US because of the outpost situation to Russia.
They lead down Germany and germans switch of their economy through a lot of antigerman measures and switch on the engines in Poland. They May need the polish on the coming battlefields as they needed the germans in the 2ndWW.

The political situation is not great between the two countries at the moment. Imo this is mostly caused by the anti-german sentiments of the polish PiS party. PiS is ruling Poland for some years now and one way to get elected is by using some anti-german and anti-liberal propaganda. They seem to be not interested in a good political relation with their neighbours. Also within the EU, Poland is one of "uneasy" members.

And they're still doing business shaking hands with eachother on and off camera. Poland and Germany are close economical partners right now, both sides want that as they get richer with business cooperation & trade.
You have to differenciate cheap talk and political propaganda from actual actions.
Publicly german gov says EU should take in refugees yet they silently acclaimed the wall on polish-belarusian border.
On the other hand polish gov publicly says EU shouldn't take in refugees yet they're accepting thousands of them from asia making immigration laws easier. Being polish living in a small town I've never seen such amount of non white people of asian origin as in recent years... since PiS won elections. So as you see - they say one thing but keep doing something completely different.
That's how politics work. These two govs are in fact pretty similar in real actions and closely cooperate. The only difference is each of them tries to lure different type of voter with typical political bullshit.
Most of the stuff we're told by politicians is a straight up lie. Nothing wrong about it - that's how politics and democracy work, we have to live with that. Choose wisely during the elections - consider real measures your gov and parties are taking, pay less attention to talk cause it costs nothing to promise.
And if you're german - be sure most poles I know have no grudge towards you. It's a vocal minority and really old people still living the past. If we really hated you would millions of poles ever come to Germany? 😂 Or would any german tourist ever visit our country?

Poland plans to spend 4% of GDP this year on military. It's also one of the few countries that consistently spent 2% since joining NATO in 1999. Security and safety wise it's not accurate considering that Poland never had a terrorist attack.
