My fiancee is a traditional artist, and she and I are trying to understand digital art. She knows art, I know computers, but neither of us know how to do art on computers. So thank you for helping to bring this couple closer together.
thanks man for this vid. Literaly 3 hrs ago i found your channel i was watching your videos about paint.net and i needed a beginners tutorial, but i couldnt find a good one. You uploaded this 3 minutes ago. good timing. i subbed
I've been watching your channel for like a year, and I already knew every thing I need to know by your other tutorials! And I took a break of youtube, came back and look at your subs, And I'm like "HE NEEDS ATLEAST 500k SUBS"
Justin, thanks so much for taking the time to do this series. I have vision problems so reading directions is incredibly hard, but watching a video makes it somewhat easier. My only suggestion for you - and this may just be me - is to please speak a little more slowly. Again, I thank you so much for this help. Diane
I do have PS but a friend of mine took a picture I spend a few days working on and came back not even an hour later having made it look...... Well it was an improvement..... My art is still better.... I'm here to utilize this program like he did to significantly improve my already otherworldly skills.... Yes
You probably haven’t made it to episode 2 yet. What’s taking so long dude?! You posted this comment a year ago and you still haven’t made it past part 1 yet! Why are you taking so long? You should be on Season2 Episode25 by now. It’s obvious that you’re not serious about any of this! Shame on you and your older sister!
it's actually not called 720p because of the amount of pixels, it's actually to do with the graphical drawing method, it's called 720p because it *progressively* draws pixels from the top right corner to the bottom left, 720i is interlaced so it draws in lines from top to bottom.
720P "P" means progress scan not Pixel. or "i" for interlaced. 720 being the Horizontal scan and resolution. sorry to correct you. thx for very good teaching video.
I honestly don’t know what questions to ask or what parts of it I wanna know about because I don’t know the program very well. Please tell me some of the things that you found helpful when you were starting out. Thanks a lot for these I really appreciate it.
I want to learn a couple of things: 1) how to add text to an existing photo; 2) How to make and add a watermark logo to your photo; 3) how to use the more of the adjustments & effects. Thanks!
i love paint. NET i use it almost exclusively for all my vids/avatar/everything almost. It's so damn quick and easy. Gimp is also a really good and just as free.
fyi, when teaching NEW ppl something SLOWDOWN, damn its like ur speed reading. Also use the pointer with the yellow circle around it so we (the viewers) have some idea where the hell you're pointing. Lastly, start with a blank screen, add a pic, edit that pic, add another pic etc etc show a project start to end
A newbie here, having trouble printing to a specific magnification. The offered FULL, 4" X 6", 5" X 7", etc don't suffice. In the Forum there's much discussion about this, but no real solution.
Thanks so much Justin! I used Serif some time ago and now there is no more support for this program.I am a little rusty...so once again, cheers to you! PS How do you get the plug ins?
Hello, I am trying to learn how to use projection mapping on our house for a Christmas show. I have looked at way to many mapping software and have fallen down the rabbit hole. I have used Vegas Pro 15 for my videos. I have outline our house with MS Draw. Do I use Paint.Net and import the house outline and then import pics and videos to do layer/mask? I have watched tutorials of Mapio, MadMapper,VPT7, Resolume Inkscape, Blender etc etc. Like I said I have fallen down the rabbit hole. Is it possible for you to do a tutorial on how to do projection mapping on a house? Much appreciated. Mark
Thanks for the PDN tutorials! I just watched the font one. Is their one PLAYLIST that has all your PDN videos? I can't seem to find it. It would be nice to have them all together. ... also to give a link to others I talk to about PDN with. Cheers!
Question, when you got to File -> Open is there a way to get it to open to your most recently visited folder or a specific folder on your pc? When I click Open it always takes me to "This PC'.
When you talk about changing the pixels itt sounds like you are talking about the resolution. But what about the size of the image? How would I make a standard 480x60 banner?
So I’m needing to isolate an already existing picture. More or less make it to where I can modify a logo that has a clear background to use as a stamp in other pictures. Can you point me to a existing video or help?
Continue on to Part 2 here!: th-cam.com/video/15MkI0K0BXY/w-d-xo.html
Can you add object removal video like Photoshop using this software
Your tutorial is helpful even after years 😊
