    This was really helpful. I have been mounting scopes longer than I care to remember and your methodology is simply the best. Thanks a whole lot. J.

    I have a long LOP. 15 1/8th so I would say 15" what you recommend for the measurement from butt stock to top edge of scope. Enjoy the Videos your knowledge and integrity you have shows in builds you put together. Definitely a master in what you do.

      Dear Sir - just slid it forward and back until you have full field of view, clamp it down there. Thanks....................

    Hi, if you get a piece of steel or aluminium about a quarter inch thick, four to five long inches and three quarter inch wide. You can glue a small good quality level to the one end, slide the piece of metal to the underside of the scope and level it. The underside of a scope below the turrets is perfectly flat and gives a good result. This was pointed out to me, I hope it helps. Love your videos

    Just discovered your TH-cam channel. My favorite as of now. I am in Montana, where in Idaho are you? Interested maybe a new rifle. I thought I was the only one that use the thumbnail method to make sure the caps are equally spaced. Great job. Thanks for all of your videos.

    integrated rails are definitely the way to go i also use scopes with rails thus eliminating the need for rings much better system also the scope is automatically aligned with the rifle dont understand why it isnt used more much more common in europe

    Do you bed the rail to the receiver?

      Dear Sir - I have Starrett machinist levels also, but they will drive you crazy. As long as you have two or three of the cheap ones to cross reference they work fine. Thanks................

      Why do people in the US use heavy top quality European scopes made for moonlight hunting when its not legal to hunt in moonlight in the US?

    Your videos would be much better if you didn’t make everything out to be your customers lol you exist because of them lol and to be perfectly honest I wouldn’t get one of your guns if a little dirt can cause it to not operate correctly.. you shouldn’t be making a gun that’s so fragile for a hunting rifle lol it seems you have to treat it like a custom prs rifle.. if that gun didn’t fire for me I’d want a full refund and I’d put my money on fierce, moa, or gunwerks hell even best of the west rifles seem way more rugged.. I get your rifles are fine rifles but if ima spend money I want reliability

    Was fine until i heard a 10 power scope shooting an Elk at 1000 yds!!!! Cmon man you were probably using the 140 grain new boattails that are crippling Elk by the 100’s and then they get away and die with major suffering. I know now that this guy needs to go to Randy Selbys site and hear what i have heard about anyone that would attempt a shot on an Elk past 650 yards. Sad!

      Dear Sir - 300g Berger VLD's going FAST...........educate yourself.

  • @joebillmoad3436
    @joebillmoad3436 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I believe in conservation of the game is disappearing real fast. I sont disagree with your want to shooting 1000 yards but now are you a sniper or a hunter? Have sniper friends that shoot long distances mainly head shots. Highly Successful! Now we are talking Elk or Moose at 1000 yards in the mountains? Real greedy and or stupid if they care about injuring the animals and never getting to dress the animals. You guys are really not real hunters crippling and gut shooting your game that far away! You cannot even find the wind elevation adjustment that far away. And by the way Berger doesnt even advertise game killing shots within safety limits. I showed this to my guide friend and he said that he would not allow a sniper to shoot at an Elk that far away. But, yes inexperience and education is what causes you to swear by selling a gun that does these distances. Sad!!
