Thank you very much! We also have an interesting version in our CD, where we alterate rythms. You can check it out here th-cam.com/video/jCx3VIrwa1E/w-d-xo.html
Thank you very much! In Greece we call this instrument "stamna", which is actually the Greek word for jug, haha! Worldwide, the most common name is udu drum
@@TirFada We have something called a “jug band” in the U.S., but the player doesn’t use the jug as a percussion instrument but rather blows across the top opening of the jug to produce a tone. A jug band has other, usually homemade instruments such as a washtub bass and spoons. I’ve played all three.
Love this. So much talent in one little corner of the world!
Thank you so much for your beatiful words!
Beautiful rendition of a great traditional Irish song 🍀
I'm just addicted, hipnotized, stunned. It could not be better.
Thanks a million for the great comment!!
Από τα αγαπημένα μου Ιρλανδικά παραδοσιακά..... πολύ καλή η εκτέλεση σας....συγχαρητήρια!!!
Ευχαριστούμε!!
Thank you for the beautiful music.
Thank you for letting me know... Hope to hear more of the band.

Nice, and hardly anyone plays the 6/8 version you used for the second half-- my favorite!

VERY NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LIKE 189
Very nice indeed! What’s the big round percussion instrument (not the bodhran - the one that looks like a big brown jug)?

@@TirFada Your music is so good! I was certain that your vocalist came from Ireland until I read her bio.
@@TirFada I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Ireland and am pretty familiar with traditional music and performance styles.
@@bethparkhurst4234 Very very interesting!!
Brasil te ama. Brazil love you
Love it...which country are you in on this performance?
Thanks a lot! We are a Greek band and the performance took place in Thessaloniki, Greece.
@@TirFada Very enticing setting to be performing. Do you tour UK or Ireland? Thanks
@@rickshepherd4156 We have performed in Scotland in 2014, but we have not yet had the luck of performing in Ireland.
You folks look like you were having fun. What is the string instrument the man is playing rested on his thigh? It sounds great.
Thank you Charlie. The instrument is a Cretan lyra.
