planning a trip to Australia, I think I have to pair down my clothes for sure.
It's so easy to over pack, most things are available to buy if you ever get stuck :)
We use the folding grocery bags to put our coats in when we go indoors somewhere so we don’t have to carry them or check them.
Great tip!
Pack for 3 or 4 days, always have some laundry to be washed, in the process of drying, and ready to wear right now. Rewear your fancy clothing. Have everything go with everything else. If you find you are kissing something you can always buy something there. Hemisphere differences are a pain but easily overcome if you wear your middle-ish climate clothes on the plane.

Great question, my suitcase ended up being about 16kg all up!

The lighter the better, much less stuff to lug around with you! I find backpacks to be much better for many trips as the bag itself is so much lighter than a hard suitcase. Just depends what you're bringing as well!

Yep, she does not like it when we travel! Even though she's thoroughly spoilt by my in-laws and they love looking after her :)
