Broadway First Dates: Laura Osnes and Nathan Johnson

Like many theater couples, Laura Osnes and Nathan Johnson met onstage. But it almost didn't happen. They were the understudies for Jasmine and Aladdin in a children's theater production of Aladdin, and they didn't have a set time to go on together. But when the two leads literally collided onstage, Osnes and Johnson were ready to jump on the magic carpet in a moment's notice. And a whole new world of romance was born.

I’ve probably listened to the Last Five Years soundtrack too many times, but I have to wonder, is it weird to be a couple in love where they both started in theater and one made it as an actor on Broadway and one kind of didn’t? This is the cutest couple I’ve ever seen, hands down, but I’d imagine that that would be hard for another couple to deal with.
