The explosive arrows are the best. Fixes they need to make. Faster Reload at least 2 seconds, Add FMJ where fmj increase damage per tick for thermite, increase explosive range for gas and semtex tip. As well as make gas tips explode whether on contact with a person or wall. With all this its at least playable. Also headquarters and semtex arrows will help you get more kills if your wondering.

Parker 12 ps4 and yeah just deleted my whole game after installing the second update and I had to reinstall the whole game back took 10 hours but at least my data was fine

If you do challenges for camos I will let you know now that the double kill is absolutely unreasonable. You need to get two kills in an almost absurdly amount of time. Even if you get a double kill it may not register because it wasn't fast enough. You have time to reload, but like less than a second after that to get another kill.

Yes. Its a one hit everywhere but the limbs. The explosive and fire one only one shots on direct impact to the head, but can kill on limbs after a bit of time. The fire one can take out tanks and kill streaks in 3 shots
When you unlock it after the 25 game grind it comes with normal arrows that are 1 shot immediate kills. The thermite tip delays the death for them to burn to death. The iron sight is the worst and is a god send to have a sight at level 2. Love the vids keep em coming.
I promise it gets a little better, after you have it unlocked immediately take off the back burn bolts lol. It oneshots pretty much everywhere! I went 37 and 18 playing pretty aggressively on shoothouse with it with specialist active. It’s probably my new fav weapon honestly haha.
Crossbow comes with 4 types of arrows -explosive -tear gas -regular -and thermite Thermite can take out a vtol in 3 shots and what I heard is the best for killing jugs. Regular arrows are mostly a one shot.
I’m probably too proud of myself, but I just finished the gold challenge for the crossbow about an hour ago. It’s tricky to use, but once you get it to level 30 it seems like it’s a pretty good weapon and it helps with every other gun. Imo the last scope you unlock is the easiest to complete the longshot camo challenge, which I did on the Shoot House map.
FYI use normal bolts so you can pick them back up, the other bolts like the thermite one, you can't pick back and maybe scavenger doesn't work either. And definitely use a pistol secondary. 25 matches don't take that long... Just unlock it
Speedtrac stock increases ADS speed, Backburn bolts are Thermite bolts, the arms increase the bolt speed and accuracy. Aim op reflex is obvious. Also the regular bolts one tap anywhere on the torso and upper arms. Sleight of Hand is a must as well. The base reload is terrible
I had the exact same experience on ps4. I used it on the other game and had a tri-bolt with explosive heads as a secondary for flushing out campers. I takes about a month to reload.

I was rocking Damascus on it in a day look forward to seeing you give it a go once you have had some time with it
The thermite tips are just mini thermites, and they can take down any kill streak with a couple of bolts. In fact they are better than thermites because they have WAY more range and does the same damage and you can carry like 9-20 bolts per life
The arrow options are: Tear Gas on hit, Semtexish and thermite. There is a video on reddit since today which shot a one shot to a juggernaut with the semtex bolt and if you can believe the comments a 3 shot to kill a VTOL
Also if you do get a reset prompt, hard close app on any system and restart or it may have been fixed already cause i havent gotten that prompt and my progress is tracking normally
Unlocked and it's a 5 sec reload time. One shot anywhere I have hit. No experience with a magnifying optic, but the reflex is on point. Travel time is long so lead your longer shots
the normal bolt 1 shots them in the torso and head.. the burn bolt kills 1 shot in the head and kills anywhere else over time... the explosive is the same as usual.. but they can die to it if you miss them and they are within a meter of it (very close) ... also there is no range damage falloff.. if you can hit them in the 1 shot spots from 200 meters away (good luck) they will still die.. the cool part about the burning bolts is you can hit them in the legs and arms and fingers and toes and it will still 1 shot them but they get a second or two to kill you too..
Would only be good if under the launcher category so it could reload faster from amped and be better for weapon swapping as this is basically a secondary.. thermite tips super good for taking out streaks if you can hit them though

the backburn bolts are thermite. they shred through killstreaks and vehicles. The crossbow is more of a utility weapon than something you should run around with.
when you use regular bolts, they travel farther and faster, you start with 12 instead of 9, you can pick up previously fired bolts, and it orks with scavenger and munitions boxes
I’ve been using it with the explosive tip seems to still be a one hit chest and up but since it explodes you could get a leg shot and it’ll still kill them when I explodes.
I just finished longshots for it, and my god, that really sucked man. The drop and slow velocity is real. Good luck to people who are golding it. I only have four challenges left. Also, above waist is a one shot. It is pretty reliable in that regard.
I feel like it isn't meant to be used like a normal marksman or in small maps. But can understand alot of the issues. The stock with other agreements might be better
if you use this as a secondary in ground war it only takes 3 shots to kill a tank with it and thats what those thermite bolts do but it kinda sucks that you have to use this overkill for it, at least you dont have to pick thermites as your granades to kill tanks.
Scavenger only takes ammo from players using the same ammo as you. Nobody else was using crossbows. That being said, I’ve been kicking ass with it. Regular bolt, sleight of hand. I went 27-7 my first day using it. Just gotta figure it out.
The normal bolts are much better pretty much a one shot as long as you aren’t constantly aiming at legs. Plus if you have any double weapon xp tokens you can level up pretty quick in shipment. Granted you do have to play pretty slow. I would like to see slight of hand buffed to like 1 second SOH is currently sitting at probably 1.75-2 seconds which is Ridiculous
You have to do the marksman rifle challenge, then you can choose your attachments and bolts. The crossbow is actually really good, it has explosive, thermite, regular, and another that i cant remember bolts. If you use the regular bolts you can pick up your bolts from bodies and the ground. Watch Marksman's video, its a pretty good gun.
The bolts are basically for playing around, they are next to useless. The thermite bolts can 3 shot a VTOL, the gas one only gas when you hit a person, so MAYBE for flushing people out. But why not use a proper grenade then, duh. And the explosion ones are next to useless. They will kill if you hit, but the velocity of all 3 custom bolts is ridiculously low. There is basically no reason to use ANY of the custom bolts if you can have a reliable 1 shot on upper body and above with the normal bolts.
I've unlocked the crossbow in platinum because I've already done the marksmen and sniper rifle challenges BUT I can't equip the platinum until I've completed all the other challenges ... so I have a green square thing sitting there indefinitely. Good job, Activision.

This blueprint basically gets every bad attachment with a pinch of sympathy which is sleight of hand.
Its really op when u put the right attachment on it

You can remove them or replace them with the attachments that you want.

The incendiary bolts do mad damage to score streaks
