    Beautiful. It would be fabulous if there was a brambleberry stockist over here in the UK but as far as I know there isn't. Thank you for a lovely video.

      It would be fantastic Debs! As far as I know there isn't a Brambleberry stockist here in the UK, so we grit our teeth and order from the US which is definitely not a cheap option!

      @@TheSussexHandmadeSoapCompany She smells the smell (or whatever they are called these days) does nature's garden but I've not spotted a brambleberry stockist yet. I'll report back if I find one ☺️

      @@TheSussexHandmadeSoapCompany youwish looks like it "might" be an official stockist. Based in The Netherlands. I've e mailed for clarification. 🤞

      @@DebsShipley1969 I have actually used Youwish a couple of years back before we left the EU (I thought they had closed down last year, but must have been mistaken). They are an official stockist - or at least, they were when I last used them. They are more expensive than Bramblerry Berry direct (not surprising) and I found that for certain items it still worked out cheaper to go direct to BB whereas others were cheaper from Youwish - so a lot of calculating before purchasing on my part! Unfortunately now we aren't in the EU we would have to pay customs fees on items from the Netherlands too, so bear that in mid too 🙂

    Hi anne beautiful soap!
    How do you go about doing the uk assessments for the soaps you use embeds and soap dough with?

    • @TheSussexHandmadeSoapCompany
      @TheSussexHandmadeSoapCompany  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Our embeds and soap dough are made to the exact same recipe as what we have on our assessments, so it is just a case of factoring the recipe up slightly to allow for the extra soap batter and also recording the batch number of the soap dough / embeds as well as the batch number of the loaf itself so that everything is traceable.

    What do you do with the large loaf after your markets, just curious as you said it will be to hard to cut? And love the colors you have used in this soap.

    • @TheSussexHandmadeSoapCompany
      @TheSussexHandmadeSoapCompany  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We will keep it for as long as it stays in good condition (we store it carefully in a dark place between shows) and use it as a display for as long as we sell this design. When and if we no longer need it we will probably try and chop it up somehow (not sure how yet, but we will figure something out) and use it ourselves!

    @Ginevra345 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wow this looks so pretty I’m in love 🤩 Did I understand it right that you won’t be able to use the other 2 thirds cause it will be too hard to cut? Such a shame 😢😢

    • @TheSussexHandmadeSoapCompany
      @TheSussexHandmadeSoapCompany  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Sanya and yes, that is correct. The other 2 thirds will be used as our display loaf at fairs & events. Eventually when we no longer need it we will hopefully be able to find a way of cutting it (very crudely) and using it ourselves but we won't be able to sell it as it certainly won't cut into nice, neat bars!
