Valheim is a fantastic game and I am sure you will enjoy it. I hope you don't mind, but I have included some tips that might help. Food - try to always keep 3 meals going on your character. Different foods give you different options shown as 'fork' icons on the food item. Red Fork = focus on health, Yellow Fork = focus on stamina, White Fork = a more balanced meal. You don't need to put food items in your hotbar, you can just right click on the item in your inventory. As you explore further you will come across more difficult enemies, so although you never 'starve to death' in Valheim, in order to be prepared for fights, you do need decent health and stamina given from food. Buffs/Debuffs - These show up in the right hand corner of the screen (next to your minimap). The 'rested' buff in Valheim is vitally important as it gives you +50% Health Regen, +100% Stamina Regen and+50% Experience while the buff is active, you gain this buff by sitting by a fire and/or being sheltered and within range of a fire. Debuffs such as being 'wet' or 'cold' show up exactly the same way (next to your minimap) but these will apply a reduction to your health/stamina regeneration. The hoe will flatten the area based on where you are stood, it will try to flatten to the level of ground the player is standing on, if you press the 'shift' key when using the hoe, it will then try to flatten to the area you are aiming at. You can use the hoe to build up walls/areas but this does use a lot of stone. Building in Valheim is colour coded - Blue = grounded i.e. safe to build from, the further away from the ground you build the colours change to show stability - so blue to green to yellow to orange to red (varying shades in between e.g. lighter green etc). I enjoyed watching your first start in the game, subscribed and looking forward to more episodes.
Hey, welcome to the channel and thank you for the sub. All help and advice is very much welcome. That's some really good information there, thank you. This will help me a lot
Kills, building in the water weakens the structure over time! If you're going into water, better off using stone as your support! Welcome to Valheim! 😁
@@Kills4ThrillsGaming You can build on the sea with a hoe, a ground raising and flattening tool. It requires stone but available early, unlike the full stone buildings.
it is a great game, so many ways to play it, notice enimies weaknesses, greylings are made of wood, so you kill them easier with an axe or torch than with a blunt weapon. Differnet enimies, different weaknesses. In the workbench you want to repair everything! It's free, :)
THERE YOU ARE !!! :D i ended up in the hospital and lost track of all my fav game players ...
looking forward to seeing the game play in Valheim :D
Oh no, I hope everything is OK and that you are out of Hospital now.
K4T discovering Valheim is one of the best things to happen to TH-cam this summer
I've been playing this for awhile now .. got excited when I saw you uploaded a valheim video can't wait to see what you build for a base
I've got a feeling that I'm going to be spending a lot of time in this one. I'm really enjoying it and the building system looks good too.
all food restores some health, its just slowly over time. each tick is a few seconds
Great video K4T!
Glad you enjoyed it. I'm having a really good time with this game.
I was waiting for this :)

First time seeing this game, looks like this one is going to be a great adventure👍
The map on this one is massive. I've a feeling I'm going to get myself into a lot of trouble haha.

Welcome to Valheim! 😁
Damn it 😂 I'm going to have to move my base lol.

I didn't even think about the different weapon types for the mobs. I'm going to have to really pay attention when I start attacking things.
repairing doesnt use any resources, so just repair everything when you can
This is good to know. I thought it was costing me when repairing
more Valheim video
There's going to be a lot more Valheim videos. One is out today.
I looked at this one, but I wasn't crazy about it. Maybe I'll take a second look
So far I'm really enjoying it.
Give it another chance. It can be difficult and frustrating while you learn everything, but it's incredibly fun once you start getting your bearings.
@@BlkMagik I did. Difficulty isn't the issue. I just don't like it. I'll still watch Kills.play it, but I'll stick with the other games I prefer ☺️
