That scammer makes more than $700,000 a year (based on the $2,000 a day). Sometimes I think they just need money because they’re in a though situation but these people are just taking innocent people’s money for no reason.

I'm autistic and got an automated call which I fell for in that I clicked to go through to a real person- luckily they hung up on me since I was about 17 at the time and I didn't have what they wanted. Now I know any automated call is not real.. But dang it's terrifying for us vulnerable people who believe it. "the idiot paid twice" was really sad to see :(

@MayBeWaxii. Some autistic people are pretty gullible. I am autistic too and I believe almost everything people tell me. This has gotten a little better as I've gotten older, but I'm still gullible. I almost fell for an automated call (or voicemail, because I missed the call) too just a few weeks ago. But I always ask friends what they think because they know better when to believe these kinds of things. Also helps with scam e-mails sometimes

Love seeing you take down these scammers, when my grandpa started losing his mind due to dementia, the scammers were swarming him like I remember him calling my mom to ask her to drive him to the bank because he got a call that he won some millions of dollars but he had to deposit $2k in order to get it & my mom spent hours explaining to him that it was a scam & he wasn’t understanding. He also easily got scared by these things like he thought he had to pay money to keep his computer information & other stuff. He use to be very difficult to trick, he was a pilot in the navy, it’s sad that his last few years of life, he was devoured by the zombies- I mean scammers. Same difference. People like you doing this noble thing fills my heart with joy, so many other people are getting scammed because they’re not as aware, sure I laugh at the various scams that come my way for how bad they are, one in particular was like “you won this free tablet” or whatever & it linked me to a convincing page with it in my cart & it looked like Walmart’s website like exactly but the URL wasn’t their’s, it was a little off & worried on my mom getting a little older, I showed her the scam being all like please don’t fall for it but thankfully, she was smart enough to tell right off, she didn’t even need to see the slightly different URL to know it was a scam. I do worry that she might end up like her dad when she gets to be in her 80’s but that’s still about 20 years into the future so I think I can relax for now.

Aight so, commenters: Somehow you gain the advantage of every bit of information needed to hijack a scam organization's bank account. Would you feel remorse about simply taking the money by some means then maybe using some for charity and keeping the rest? Or would you not do it/use it all for charity/report?

I know they're just scams, but one of these kind of voice mail scam thing scanned my device and literally had a bot mention my device name. Holy moly I was scared cause I wasn't even on my phone, it was probably a random click.
Lol. I remember when I was about 16 (many moons ago) and I got the windows error and I was actually upset because I thought I was actually locked out and that my laptop had viruses. I actually needed a new laptop at the time so with money I saved from different occasions I purchased a new one.
A few years ago I got the same message on my pc, but I knew it was a scam. I called those leeches up just to mess with their vile asses and said I couldn’t have a windows pop up since I was using a MacBook and have mac oS.
They are just disgusting beings and I’m happy more people are aware of this garbage that’s going around.

Police don't care, the scammers just bribe them with the money they stole and they let them go. It's disgusting of the police to take that money instead of helping the victims. You letting everyone on their contacts list know they're being scammed was way more helpful than reporting their bank information to the police. You should report it to the fraud department of the bank instead and maybe they'll ban their account which will make more work for them but they'll just make another account.
