Good to see the 3650 taking shape won't be long and she'll be back up an running better than ever mate, I knew the moment you said one name kept coming up in your searches that it would be Nick Young, because I follow a young beef/arable farmer from Scotland called Angus Glover and he's restoring a 2650 he hasn't posted for a few weeks so I may have got that wrong, anyway he was really struggling to find parts for the cab of his John Deere and I recommended Nick Young as he was the only one that kept coming up in my searches so he was going to give them a try.

You were right in where to suggest for parts. They’re A1

Did you consider adding soundproofing material before the caldding? Im at a Waterloo sg2 cab now and adding dynamat sheets to it, takes the tinny sound out of the metal cab panels so should reduce noise a fair bit. Thanks for the tips on the spray glue and velcro👍

Coming along nicely.👌🏻 I have just fitted the same cladding kit to my 3050 . Fits spot on . Looks good. And because I have got the passenger seat didn’t have to stick any of it down. Only thing is one of the pillars as got two holes in it . Which have to be filled with a bit of cladding .

Looking great , I just can't understand when things get broken / damaged and filthy then just left 🤷 , I always have loved to keep things clean and tidy ! It's brilliant to see someone taking pride in their equipment 👍

@@georgekenny9820 will your claas be the same value as a john deere at same age and work done? John deere are a world wide reputed make and are the largest manufacturer of farm equipment. Plus they're making tractors since 1906 and have slaved on American plains, that does give them a huge reputation. Some john deere tractors with correct maintenance have hit 30,40.000 hours!!! Nothing against class but no way are they in the same class.

All that you say there is spot on Oliver but I am an average dairy farmer here in kilkenny with 110 cows, I used to have a case tractor but it became prone to breaking down, I only have one tractor so really need it to start when I have a job to do, & it was a loader tractor I was looking for, I test drove a John Deere loader tractor & as I said it was €20,000 more than the claas with no air brake, no cab suspension, no loader suspension, no front axle suspension & other extras, very basic tractor, I could not justify buying that tractor. The resale only becomes an issue if I want to trade in my claas for a John Deere & I don't. I know several men who have gone away from John Deere as they feel they are not as well made.

@@georgekenny9820 you're quite right to chose as you thought right for you. Afraid you're right about not as well made but as they were before, before very expensive but my god could they last? Engine wise etc. Well maintained they'd last indefinitely, badly maintained the pocket would be well lightened. Had 2 myself, excellent tractors.
