    I'm not a professional dancer but I purchased the resistance bands that you recommended and I practice almost every day. I see instant results after each training and I see that I can keep correct posture longer and longer during the day. Thank you so much for that set of exercises! :) ♥

    These exercises helped me so much! You explained each one very clearly, and I especially appreciate that you turned around for each one so we can see you from all directions and make sure we are doing them correctly. Even after following along and doing the exercises for just the first time watching the video, I felt less tightness/pain. Bookmarked it so I can try to do these exercises frequently. Thank you so much!!!!

    Excellent!!! I haven't seen your TH-cam lessons since we've moved. These exercises are great just to have overall better posture whether you dance or not. Developing my upper body is always a struggle for me so I can really appreciate these. I work with resistance bands now ever since I started getting minor aches and pains with weights. I will incorporate the ones I can while I heal. Thank you, Alexey. Cathie

    Hey Alexey, i watch every video you make, but this one is the one that helped me most. Many parts of these exercises made it into my daily routine and yes, it helps. Not within a week, but gradually. Very important for standard dances - it nearly kills my partner when my shoulders go up ;-) After a year i can at least bring my shoulders back down at will while dancing ;-) And it has gotten generally better - from Quasimodo of the dance hall to somewhat OK.

    I went to physical therapy at the beginning of this year for pain that was caused by the shoulders rolling too far forward, and the exercises my PT had me do are pretty similar to these! I like that your versions of them use so little equipment. Thank you for putting this whole workout together!

    Omg thank you sooooo much for doing this video! 😊🙏🏼 I’ve been dealing with severe pain for many years and I was about to accept that I was going to live with it. I’ve only been doing your exercises for a shorter time and I’m already feeling so much better. Can’t wait for future results by keeping doing them! 🤗

      Awesome, good job Natasja!
      Keep working on improving yourself, and combine it with myofascial release exercises.
      It’s basically a self massage using the balls or rollers. Those can be very complementary with this exercise! Good luck to you !

    wow i have been looking all over youtube for someone who can give targetted solutions for high shoulders (something very unsightly for dancing indeed, my teacher is always asking me to keep them down, and kp my chest up) but thats tough when certain muscles are "asleep"... so i hope your exercises will wake them up!! thanks so much for these tips! i will try them out and post back on the effectiveness. keep up with your positive energy ! cheers

    I feel like my collar bones and shoulder blades are set high on my body, causing it to look like i have a short neck. Are these exercises good for that? I fear building my upper traps and making the problem worse.

    • @ballroomwithalexey3951
      @ballroomwithalexey3951  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      EL ZORO thank you for you question. You’re right you have to be carefulto not build your upper traps. None of this exercise are actually focusing on the upper traps, so you should be fine. under each exercise I listed the group of muscles involved. Focus on the ones which involved lower trumpeters.
