Still the best baseball glove information on the internet. In fact I don't know of any other source of information about baseball gloves that is better.
Aside from the quality of his information I like the way Dave presents it.

Thanks for taking the time to make a video explaining so much.

Thanks for the info. What do you suggest to do when one of the finger stalls is to tight on a new glove?

Take a 18-24" souvenir bat, cut the lower handle and knob off about 5" from the bottom of the bat, sand down the cut. Then push it into the finger slot handle end first and carefully rock it back and forth when the bat begins to meet all the sides of the liner. This is a gentle stretch but very effective.

Do you have any videos of removing the palm adhesive and “stressing” the lace before re-lace?

I’m not sure….join the baseball glove repair network on FB and search those videos…I have posted far more short ones over there.

Is that a shirt for Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, IA?

Nice tanks. And good to know we don't have to have a dumb ball in the middle of the mitt if we let you do your magic!

Any difference in Breaking in a catchers mitt?

Just a solid 3/16' of f1 wool felt to deal with....otherwise not much different.
But CMs are much tougher because that darn palm adhesive is really caked into the center of the mitt.
About 1/4 of all the work I do is breaking in CM by rebuilding them. It's pretty much a guaranteed perfect result.
      Good question!
