Having grown up in the Twin Cities, I would have loved the opportunity to travel to Chicago by train with reasonable schedules, even in the last century. Daily daytime service to Fargo in the 90’s would have made the trek to NDSU more enjoyable and less stressful after tests, all nighters & finals. Waiting until the wee hours of the morning just doesn’t cut it! Nor does leaving MSP near midnight for a wee hours arrival into the tundra with no transit service for hours!

Now have a second train St Paul to Chicago. 90 minutes Chicago is faster than driving!
It sure is! I took the Borealis round-trip MSP-CHI two days ago. The eastbound video will be up this weekend!
