Im so looking forward to this . In the days of un-ending thrillers and crime dramas and action flicks , a truly Indian rooted Hindi film is rare to find . Reinvented family drama , is something Indian films have been good at .
Even today, inspite of rampant infrastructure and urban developments across India, many many many many Indian parents want to take their last breath in their ancestral home. Memories, spirituality, spirits, energy etc etc....you name it...but the fact remains the same. Its a big deal as you rightly guessed. I remember a close relative of mine who had to sell off his ancestral home to repay his debt....guess what....he died within next couple of days due to sudden rise in blood pressure, leading to coma and brain haemorrage. It can have a catastrophic impact. Same goes for family business's too in some communities.
It's not just mother staying because she has to take care of her grandchildren. Our society teaches us as children once you grow up and have a job and earning...you try to do the same amount of care towards your parents and grandparents. It makes you humble. And strengthens generational ties. I live in a joint family. And it's beautiful. There are guardians and friends all in one family. We have something called doing duty towards your parents. Telling parents to move out is looked down upon and considered selfish and rightfully so. Thank you 😊
No, you are just an investment for your parents so you can pay them back when they get old. There’s no values and generational tie crap involved. It’s all fake!

My husband is allergic to alcohol.. he gets horrible rashes.. so much so that he can't even have cough syrups.. and if he gives blood to anyone they get a temporary allergy too.. so he is called by doc to give to PPL who have drunk driving accidents.. i should get my hands to this kit yo find more ;)
American society set-up failed because they treat family and marriages as mutually beneficial contract whereas in India family system is driven by emotional bondages' and selfless love.
Both are different …Gulmohar ( flame of the forest)is a huge tree, also indigenous to India ,Bouganvillea is a very big plant or very small tree native to South America,Brought to India probably by the portugese.Dont think it has a name in Marathi.
And also Gulmohar is not a marathi word. The gulmohar tree is called gulmohar in Hindi is well. It’s actually an Urdu word having Arabic/Persian origins.

Sharmila Tagore is mother of Saif Ali Khan and mother in law of Kareena Kapoor. And she is a grand daughter of Ravindranath Tagore.
Looking forward to this..
So Happy to see Sharmila Tagore ji and Amol palekar ji after a long time 🙂
whichever film tisca chooses is a gem. We forget her in the sea of talent like in this film
Who else gets a podcast vibe nowadays from Rick and Korbins random discussions
Maybe they should start an actual podcast instead of deviating from the video.
Nobody
When the trailer is shorter and the discussion around it as well, one gotta talk random stuffs tp elongate the video.
Now? I have been watching them regularly for more than 3 years and I always have got podcast vibes from them.
Good to see actress Simran. Surprising that there is no mention of her.
I think you didn't recognise the guy who is playing Manoj son. He is the guy from life of pi

Going by the trailer it looks like She is not happy with the way the relationships in her family have fallen apart and She feels sad about it
Sharmila Tagore is Saif Ali Khan's mother
Sharmila tagore is saif’s mother
Looks inspired from Kapoor and Sons
It gives vibes of that movie but Rishi Kapoor's character was more friendly but here Sharmila Tagore's character looks more serious
Gulmohar is Marathi word for boganwilla. Amol palekar a brilliant actors was always under rated. You should watch his Chhoti si baat. Rajani gandha

@@RG-un2vl I am just giving meaning of similar word which is in marathi
Both are very different. Boganwilla is not gulmohar. I had the tree in my house. So I know.
