I felt so humiliated. Not only did he implied I look like shit, but he also said so in front of my entire generation. I just feel really sad and insecure right now. I love my pixie cut, but being told you look ugly in front of 60 people just felt like too much.

I remember getting my pixie cut three months ago and I was so scared to go to school the next day. Surprisingly everyone loved it and some people even suggested cutting their own hair. I kept seeing people looking up pixie cuts at free time at school. It felt so awesome knowing that I inspired people to cut their hair too :D

When I was in eighth grade I basically said one day, "Fuck societal norms" And dyed my hair hot pink and chopped it all off out of the blue. I didn't like the specific pixie cut I got because it wasn't right for my facial shape but I will never regret that. I felt like such a bad ass walking in and seeing everyone shock when I got to school. Its a feeling I will never forget. xD

I have been looking for to cut my hair that short like yours for a long time now -like one and half year-. One of the reasons I want it so much is that because my hair is curly like yours, and I kinda find it difficult to style so I straighten my hair most of the time and it ends up losing its health day by day. If I have a pixie cut, my hair will look much healtier and cuter I believe. Last time I visited hairdresser he said the hairstyle I wanted to have might not look as good on me because my hair is curly, thick and difficult to style. I absolutely love my pixie hair!! It’s the shortest I’ve gone so far and yes I cried for a couple of days because the hairdresser went tooo short but guess what? I totally love it now!! Haha. I’d like to add that I have oily skin and hair and have to wash my hair only a couple times a week! It doesn’t get oily except for bangs which I use dry shampoo sometimes. Lastly my Hubby never told me he has always had a thing for girls w short hair so when I cut it off he was very happy and decided to let me in on what he prefers. Which I’d known sooner!! Everything you said is so true!! You look amazing with the pixie cut. I did it back in July 2015 after having long hair my whole life. I never thought it would suit me, but my stylist said it would. so I went for it. And I love it so much! I've tweaked it over the months and love it even more. but very true the first week I would love it and then get frustrated and feel ugly sometimes. It's crazy how people can get so attached to their hair. and on the plus side my bf as well loves shorter hair so it works out very well.

I've just got a pixi cut on the weekend. I am leaving the front longer as I want to keep my curl on the top, but everything else is shaved :) still getting used to it but everyone loves it. And my husband can't keep his hands off it.
I love my pixie hair cut because the maintenance is super easy. Also I have thick hair too and would get headaches because of the thickness. Also I have asthma too and having to wear a mask too. Sheesh I had such problems that I would have to hit my inhaler a lot. So the pixie cut was needed a lot.

I had a longer pixie cut a few days ago but I had to cut it a lot shorter. Like Anne Hathaway post Les Mis short. It was about Carey Mulligan's length when she filmed the great Gatsby a few days before but when I washed it for the first time in about 6 days, there were still a lot of damaged pieces from before. Well my hair keeps sticking up and I can't get it to lay down right. I have tried some hair oil, and even a very light spritz of hair spray, all the way to wetting the spot so it can dry right. Nothing has worked. Can you recommend anything to me? My hair was previously bleached and it sustained a lot of damage. I cut off the dead parts but it's still a bit fragile so I don't want to do much heat styling or use drying hair products.

I have been looking for to cut my hair that short like yours for a long time now -like one and half year-. One of the reasons I want it so much is that because my hair is curly like yours, and I kinda find it difficult to style so I straighten my hair most of the time and it ends up losing its health day by day. If I have a pixie cut, my hair will look much healtier and cuter I believe. Last time I visited hairdresser he said the hairstyle I wanted to have might not look as good on me because my hair is curly, thick and difficult to style. But after seeing your hair now, I made my mind that I will definitely go for it! Thanks for encouraging.
I absolutely love my pixie hair!! It’s the shortest I’ve gone so far and yes I cried for a couple of days because the hairdresser went tooo short but guess what? I totally love it now!! Haha. I’d like to add that I have oily skin and hair and have to wash my hair only a couple times a week! It doesn’t get oily except for bangs which I use dry shampoo sometimes. Lastly my Hubby never told me he has always had a thing for girls w short hair so when I cut it off he was very happy and decided to let me in on what he prefers. Which I’d known sooner!! I feel sexy, stylish, feminine and have found a new love for earrings! Thanks for the vid, very cute 🤗

Everything you said is so true!! You look amazing with the pixie cut. I did it back in July 2015 after having long hair my whole life. I never thought it would suit me, but my stylist said it would. so I went for it. And I love it so much! I've tweaked it over the months and love it even more. but very true the first week I would love it and then get frustrated and feel ugly sometimes. It's crazy how people can get so attached to their hair. and on the plus side my bf as well loves shorter hair so it works out very well.

I feel the same with the others being in my grill about it. I'm a girl who had super long hair bit below my waist most of my childhood.. And as I got to uni, I thought, what the hell, it's so much more work than I want. I also wanted something different, so I did the pixie. Those 2 comments? I get that all the time. I love my hair as it is though, it truly is empowering.

i just got my pixie cut two days ago and i can definitely relate to many of the things you mentioned! but i do feel more like myself since i always just wore my hair in a ponytail when it was above my shoulder length. ugh, my hair still does what it wants haha! i don't mind it as much sometimes.
I have been on the internet for about a month now jst looking up things about pixie cuts...I think im going to wait till the summer so if I dont like (doubt I wont like it) so people at school wnt have to see amd I can let it grow out at least a little.
i love pixie cuts. i got one in 2014. i let it grow for a year. Then got Bob. now i got another one. The stylist didn't do a good job but it took a lot off my head.. Weight wise. i have thick hair.

I think we have similar hair! I just poked through your channel and found some pictures of you with long hair and it looks like we have similar hair issues. My sensitive scalp is the reason that sealed the deal for me... long hair has more options, but I haven't been doing them because they hurt my scalp! So I'm excited... got my appointment scheduled for my birthday.

I've just got a pixi cut on the weekend. I am leaving the front longer as I want to keep my curl on the top, but everything else is shaved :) still getting used to it but everyone loves it. And my husband can't keep his hands off it.

I love my pixie hair cut because the maintenance is super easy. Also I have thick hair too and would get headaches because of the thickness. Also I have asthma too and having to wear a mask too. Sheesh I had such problems that I would have to hit my inhaler a lot. So the pixie cut was needed a lot.

I had a longer pixie cut a few days ago but I had to cut it a lot shorter. Like Anne Hathaway post Les Mis short. It was about Carey Mulligan's length when she filmed the great Gatsby a few days before but when I washed it for the first time in about 6 days, there were still a lot of damaged pieces from before. Well my hair keeps sticking up and I can't get it to lay down right. I have tried some hair oil, and even a very light spritz of hair spray, all the way to wetting the spot so it can dry right. Nothing has worked.
Can you recommend anything to me? My hair was previously bleached and it sustained a lot of damage. I cut off the dead parts but it's still a bit fragile so I don't want to do much heat styling or use drying hair products.
Have you tried a paste or pomade? I really like the macadamia one, as it's waxy yet nourishing fave.co/1LBEXey :)

I take biotin i also take niacin niacin helps with hair growth according to research but it also helps with the heart biotin is for hair skin and nails
