      I've never tried that. I use whisks. A beater might work but if you use more than one color, you'd need more than one beater and that would get pretty hard to handle.

      Something I've been trying to do is make sure I have plenty of jars on hand ready to go. Since that is the step that takes the longest, it helps to have them done ahead of time. Who knows, maybe down the road I will have to hire some help. We will see what happens!

    • @jimrooney1
      @jimrooney1 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I apologize to those who don't care about this since it is 8 months old but some who are reading the posts do care... Bree pointed out in an earlier post that you should not wash cement down the sink. It WILL clog it up. I, personally, have only a hose exhaust on the sink in my shop and can therefore wash out in that and even then have to periodically "snake" the sand out of it. NEVER wash cement or concrete down a household plumbing system... PERIOD! Unless you want a horrendous plumbing bill.

    Hi I reached out on IG but I'm not sure if you check your DMs. I am curious about your clean up process. What do you do with any leftover concrete and how do you wash your tools? I am very interested in trying this out but I want to be sure I can clean and dispose of any residual ingredients properly. I would love to see a video or tutorial about how to clean up in between mixes or after. Thank you

    • @calafiacandleco
      @calafiacandleco  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there! So sorry. I get flooded with DMs and it’s hard to reply to them all. I just wipe out as much as I can with paper towels into a trash can, and then hose off my bowls and spatulas outside in the dirt. Definitely do not rinse anything out in the sink. The concrete will harden in your drains.
