Spent the summer of 1977 in this lovely English town to brush up on my English (from Spain). It caught me in the midst of Queen Elizabeth’s silver jubilee. I learned to appreciate the great connection the Brits have with their monarch (at least back then). Fell in love with After Eight chocolate and had my first Coca Cola on a can. Memories that tickle my soul. Thank you, Malvern, for filling my childhood with such lovely memories 😊
I lived in Malvern Wells from 1968 - 1970 and went to School in Malvern and walked the parks and town centre many times. It seems to me that absolutely nothing has changed in 55 years, including that old banger outside the post office.
My grandad lives in Malvern and it’s one of the best places I’ve been to,very quite and peaceful and beautiful countryside,if you need somewhere peaceful to get away then Malvern is the place for you!
Thanks for posting. Was born in Malvern and lived there for 55 years, now live in Chile but lovely to see everywhere you walked, I had done the same steps many times. Thanks again.
Spent a couple of days here last month, stayed at the Abbey Hotel which you showed in your walk round . Malvern is a beautiful little place and the hotel was perfect.
A very nice town, very English, seems a good few of the people are of retirement age, hope you had a pint in The Unicorn, looked a nice pub. Thanks for the walk through Malvern. 👍👍
