Finally figured it out. When Chad talks in that slow whisper when he's close in on a project, I kept thinking that way of talking sounds really familiar. He sounds like Bob Ross, which is actually pretty freaking cool. It makes sense really, both of you seem to have a special connection to whatever you're working on. Keep up the good work you two, I really enjoy watching whatever project your working on.
Really enjoy watching you build, modify and solve design conundrums that come up. I have been framing a shed/shop lately that I am joining to another already built structure and when I run into a snag, your words of keep trying, figure it out, do it your way, keep it making you happy, all that keeps echoing in my mind. Making it fun is the best way! Thanks Bad Chad and lovely Jolene! 👍🏻👍🏻
The fades are a perfect fit for this car. Fabrication and doing customs is my favorite part of your videos. Also Jolene, as usual you are doing a fantastic job behind the camera.
hillbillymark here from ontario- great choice on using the shorter 4 door doors which gives you a longer quarter panel. you are a master thank you for your youtube shows fantastic
saw your piece on ''perspective''. don't listen to bad mouths you are doing an incredible work. just discovered you recently and been watching you a lot. i do a lot of diy small work and you inspire me to continue.
Never seen fades before interesting process thanks for showing the process . Love your content keep up the great work . Thanks Jolene for operating the camera and jumping in when needed love you both
It's looking absolutely brilliant Chad and jolene it's got shape every where you look at it it's going to be an awesome build for sure. Keep up the great work the both of you 👍 👏
"WELL DONE'! You got it going on this time Chad. The factory couldn't have gotten it any more perfect. This is really one of the better points of the build. Came out nice first time. 👍👍
Exciting day to see the doors opening "its Friday " , great job so far on this build . Soon you will be on another project very exciting material content to see .
I think the 5 window would look good. Maybe we need a visual. I liked Jolene's mirror idea. She is always finding ways the make the production the best.
It's pretty amazing how you get these cars done so quickly...no time wasted...heck of a work ethic...go right after it...jolene...great camera lady...especially with the mirror...good idea...plus right there to assist Chad...car looks definitely badass 😎..cya tomorrow Chad and jolene
The BEST car building series ever. All the others do is basically buy pieces and parts out of a catalog and bolt them on. Chad and Jolene invent stuff using their imagination. I would suggest you let Jolene set the camera down at the end of the videos and close them out along side you.
Chad definitely has that welder dialed in, I just finished a welding marathon on a Subaru Forester that I modified into a truck. Would of never been able to do it without the instructions on here.🙏🙏🙏 thank you chad and Jolene!!!!
Put some pads on your knees, just had one replaced and now need to do the other not fun all because lack of protection threw-out the years. Love your channel
Hi Chad & Jolene As you are working on the car, the boot / trunk lid and the bonnet / hood have a 3 line trim running up the centre. I was thinking of the 3 line trim stops at the top of the boot / trunk lid, that extending the 3 line trim from the top of the boot / trunk lid up to bottom of the rear window, as when it was the 4 door saloon / sedan the boot / trunk lid 3 bar trim stopped at the top of the boot / trunk lid because of the rear window was there just above the boot / trunk lid. I think that it would look like factory but totally custom to extend the 3 bar trim all the way up to the bottom of the rear window where the rear window panel meets the rear swage panels that you fitted to enclose the gap between the rear window and the boot / trunk lid. Just my thoughts on what I would do, but you always pull something creative out of the hat. Love the work, loving the vids and I wait for the next chapter on the build. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I enjoyed watching this video. On the open void's consider make it like a Rolls-Royce style where you put umbrellas in each side that pop out, or two shotguns would be neat to . 👍👊
I'm digging the rig... had an idea of the use of back seat floor space, a mattress that reaches through into the trunk you could definitely sleep in the back under the sail panel would be cool to have a flat floor reaching through to the cockpit... my 10c 👌
You’re doing great work and teaching me a lot thanks. The only thing that I could suggest is getting yourself a three way or power bar for your power tools. It’s Friday! Have a great day
Love it ! Thanks for sharing with us you guys . You got Vision and even tho I was kinda wondering how you are going to make the car from nice to ugly then to ugly then to awesome in the end , Ya love the end results on this build !
Amazing work Chad and Jolene! You've made the car look amazing with the fade aways. I really enjoy how you build these cars, and you are also a good teacher along the way. Keep up the good work guys!
Going on 39 years in the industry, been working on the ground the entire time! I try to be mindful to use a pad of sorts. Rust is raw metals enemy! Invest in weld through primer to cover any inside raw metal before it's covered. It's a habit I'm used to doing.
Car looks great! I'm not being nice there at all through this. I'm glad you're not down now I hate it to see that when they're really piling on you. They can all eat crow now! Sure anybody can do something different. That mean we'd have to get off her back so I can get up and do something. There were a couple Chevys like the one you or reconstructing and recreating that sold in Colorado along with probably 150 other classics. But in any case did you ever think about leaving the welding beads as they are? Give it that industrial look. I saw on the door lock where it still has the ice flap cover. Here we are 3/4 of century later and you don't find those on cars. It saves putting the tape over the keyhole. Great job both you and Jolene wonderful team. By the way it's great to tune in everyday and see your progress! In the old days we'd have to wait till next week. Same bat Time same bat channel. If you're a fan of Batman.
Nice work on this project Chad!! Jolene as usual does fantastic work on the camera!! Did you ever think about getting one of those magnets for your ground clamp? It sure would save time and aggravation. Keep up the good work!
Car looks awesome with the Frankenstein ‘stitched together’ look showing all the work you’ve done. Would also look fantastic ground smooth and sandblasted or polished 👍
Fixing the garage door the other day - trying to seal it better. Trying to figure it out and my wife goes "what would Chad do". Lmao - got my wife hooked now. Ha ha ha ha!!!!!

That fade flows well with that fender while the door was wide open amazing
I love that dogs disposition! If everybody had a dog like that, the world would be a better place!
The fades are a perfect fit for this car. Fabrication and doing customs is my favorite part of your videos. Also Jolene, as usual you are doing a fantastic job behind the camera.
seeing a car being built right in front of my eyes is awesome

That looks awesome.. it looks like it was built that way from the factory. You have done an amazing job.. hard to believe it was one a 4 door sedan.
It's looking absolutely brilliant Chad and jolene it's got shape every where you look at it it's going to be an awesome build for sure. Keep up the great work the both of you 👍 👏

I said the same. I think Fina needs a window in the back.
I watch every day. It motivates me to get out in the garage and do projects. Do not change anything - this show is gold.

I´m liking the fades alot.
Great camerawork from Jolene.
The fade aways really helped the proportions of the car a lot. Get it nice and low to the ground.
Put some pads on your knees, just had one replaced and now need to do the other not fun all because lack of protection threw-out the years. Love your channel
I really enjoy watching you do the metal work on this car. I coming along great.
