Thank you. I have been watching all of your videos since I have started remote learning with my 3rd graders. Appreciate your knowledge and the ideas that you give me to try with my class. Stay well.
Now I've discovered how to stop students mucking about during online classes thanks to you showing us the settings screen. Here you can stop them from annotating and switching their virtual backgrounds.
I had never had this idea of using Google Earth like this in an English lesson! Excellent idea, excellent activity.Thank you very much. I will definitely try this.
Glad it was helpful! I have some new stuff coming out very soon. It might be worth signing up to the newsletter on my website www.teachertrainingvideos.com/sign-up.
Thanks once again, Russel! Your fantastic videos have been so much help these last few weeks! I love your ideas for using Google Earth, and for students stuck at home during lockdown a bit of virtual travelling could be just the thing!!

Thank you. I was thinking of a tutorial to be sent to students before a course so that they could learn the basics and be ready when the course starts.
Hi Russell, First of all, I'd like to say, thanks a million for sharing your videos about using different technologies. You are helping many teachers like me, who haven't used them before, and they absolutely make a difference in our performance. I was wondering if you could help me with a doubt I have. I've been asked to send a list of the students who participated in my classes delivered in Zoom, yesterday. Do you know how can I get them? Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Warm Regards, Evelyn
Hi Evelyn. Thank for your lovely comment. You can save the chat. So if they all commented then their names would appear there. You can also do a screen grab of the names in manage participants, but I don't yet see an option to automatically download a list of attendees after the meeting. Zoom are bringing in extra features this weekend, so I'll be doing updates next week with new videos on things like security. Russell.

Hi Mudit. Skype can be used for teaching. If you are concerned about too many options, settings or if the concern is about security then Skype might be a better platform for you.

Amazing ! I’m cognizant of the fact that I should be able to come up with the place I’d like my students to visit on my own, but I wanted to know if anyone can recommend a place that they might’ve tried and received the same turnout as good as this one...
Thanks, Prince John. Obviously my examples are places that I know well. You might not get any further comments here from others offering recommendations. Explore Google Earth and invite your students to visit a place they have always wanted to visit, but never had the chance, perhaps?
Hi Tommaso. I am going to make some more Zoom videos about security and doing an example lesson to show what it is like from the students' point of view.
Hi Ana. I use Camtasia to record the whole tutorial. The small version of me filmed in the bottom left hand corner from my webcam is done using Green Screen technology.
A really good idea Russell, something normally done with pps, so using Google Earth would be much more simple. I'm wondering if students in China be able to use it?
Hi Tommaso. I am going to make some more Zoom videos about security and doing an example lesson to show what it is like from the students' point of view.
I love this idea. I'm going to try and do it in class. Thank you very much. I hope I can use it with Webex, the platform I'm using. I don't know if I can have breakout rooms in this platform.
Go for it, Maria. I really like Google Earth and the detail it provides. You can set breakout session assignments in Webex when you schedule a training session. Breakout sessions can be used when you want to divide the attendees of your session into smaller groups to collaborate and communicate. I've never done a Webex tutorial, even though I have used the tool.
