Been to the one in Hastings , had the Bokadoosh and the Captain Fries, incredible quality and taste, 9.4 seems about right. You even got the street entertainment in Brighton too😉. Good review.

You must head back to a Chuck & Blade in Rochester. Since your previous review I’ve moved to Rochester and been there myself. I consider myself to be somewhat of a burger snob…. And the burger I had at Chuck & Blade was genuinely one of the best I’ve had.

when you went here did you let them know you were doing a review? Eaten there recently and had such a bad experience and chicken looked nothing like what you were given. I was served up what looked like late night kebab shop chicken but at sit down restaurant premium prices. To make it worse, the chips were limp and the burger fillet over cooked or cooked in old oil. Dark and did not smell/taste good. Bookshop have let it slip massively.
So much so…I’m now tempted to just buy their sauces and smother it over cheaper competitors plain fried chicken!
No mention of the bun because they’re your mates!

Honestly, the amount of times this guy just says..."texture, flavour, its there". Yes mate, you're a food reviewer, give us a description of the texture and flavour. You don't describe Beckham as just "footballer".

I've been to the Hastings one a few times when my son goes to source park on his scooter because it's in the park courtyard. I don't rate chicken thighs as a burger at all to be honest and the times I've had it the chicken was under seasoned and a bit tough. I'll try the wings and loaded fries if I went again as looked good but I'll swerve the chicken burger.
Haven't tried it for a couple years but it's always been really quite dead and overpriced.
They must be doing something, right?

Another awsome video, apart from that guy about midway in the red t-shirt…. I think he probably had a form of Tourette’s, which makes suffers of it violent angry and swear but it’s all very uncontrollable and leaves them isolated and very alone, very sad. Glad your car was ok Matt 🤣👌

Cooking chicken in coke/dr pepper isn't a ridiculous thing and is actually quite tasty. Just because you haven't heard of it doesn't mean it is gimmicky.
