Thank you for sharing your flights with all of us! I so enjoy seeing all of the airplane/aviation things you share! Be safe out/up there!! Blessings and cheers! 💕✈💕✈
Hi Pete😊 Thank you fir sharing your trips. Haha! So, yes the cold cold 1 to 4 degrees in temps week before last and last you felt that in Indy. I do not go out for those last two weeks. So, today, 1/27 it was 40 degrees here in Chicago. Survived that stuff. Alright, enjoy the conference and be safe on that red eye. And yes, I laughed when Sonia laughed hearing what you said!😅 Alright, fly safe.
This morning I looked out my window and saw your company's 757 landing here in Charleston SC. Have you ever flown into CHS? I thought of you when I saw it. Great video - have a wonderful week ahead!
Pete-Another great presentation! On the first leg, that 150 kt tailwind at FL350 gave you a 611 kt GS. Sweet! Always enjoy your walk-arounds on the 76. Have fun in San Diego. Andy
greetings from indianapolis. i really need to do a series of videos on how to survive both weather conditions and shift schedules on the ramp. again, good to see you again recently!
Enjoy the vids Pete. I’m sure you’ve flown with Captain Hicks. Our dads were hired late ‘72 and Feb of ‘73 to fly Falcon 20’s. I chose a different path but I stay in touch with all that’s going on at the company. It was good to see FedEx update their Social Media policy to allow pages like yours to exist!
I hope you realize how very blessed you are to do what you love & to able to work with awesome people. Please give all the glory to GOD.May your days be blessed.👋😉💚💛💜✈️✈️✈️
Hey man great stuff! Thought I’d mention that the little snack bar that you said sells nothing but garbage is the same one they have in our Ramp break rooms in ATL with 🔺. Needs healthier options for the work we do for sure!
Just stumbled upon this channel i love it ! I have two questions, one, i live in Brighton in the United kingdom do you ever fly to london gatwick ? And also is that scaring under your pecs ?
If you don't mind my 2 cents, move the plant to the corner window & get a tarp to put the bike on.I'm sure you had thought of it & didn't mean to be bossy.😉👋😪✈️✈️✈️
I see you manipulate your schedule a lot to have the nyc layovers. Could you do the same thing, trading in and out of trips to travel more internationally if you wanted?
The thing I fear most about EWR is I can’t enunciate Newark very well. People think I I’m saying New York. Do ya need to refresh on ATP/CTP? Or is it just 1 and done, aside from knowing updates.
I wondering something. If you have family in another part of the country an had too ship something too em would ya get a discount if shipped it like "Overnight or 2nd Day"? Always wondered that being you're at Fed Ex anyways.
I know jet A is expensive and wondered if most airlines have a policy on how you manage your fuel loads. How much excess fuel to you usually have onboard for those emergencies that require you to remain airborne and burning fuel???
Peter Have You Ever took A Shower At The Flight Operations Center 🚿 And Does The Company Provide Body Wash!1 You Do A Vlog With Like You Vlogging After You've Took A Shower At Flight Ops!
You gotta choose brother… do you want cute hair and wear a sweatband around your head and complain about how cold it is on walk arounds or do you want to be warm and healthy long term…. PUT A HAT ON or you might as well eat a honeybun!!!!
i work many 12+ hour shifts on the ramp with wind chills down to -40. i never have worn a hat out there. everyone's body is different. a good diet, reasonable sleep, and great hygine is the key to not getting sick when weather both changes and goes to extreemes.
As always, great to see you and your work...I enjoyed the simple laugh with your girfriend over dinner, I can see she totally loves and gets you...laughs with you ,not at you..that's the best, just like my love, I recently lost after 31 years..
Great job with the videos Pete. Your videos got this 60 year old man back in the gym. It’s non-negotiable.
lets go!! Love to hear it! NON_NEGOTIABLE!
Just flas that beautiful smile and those adorable airplane socks....Who could refuse you anything!!
Love the 40 minute video!

thanks for subbing! Haha I just dont like the taste!
I hope you realize how very blessed you are to do what you love & to able to work with awesome people. Please give all the glory to GOD.May your days be blessed.👋😉💚💛💜✈️✈️✈️
Very Blessed!
Love the night pics from the cockpit! Is that Baltimore at 32:38?
I believe it was!
Love your videos Pete. Why don't you guys have winglets on your 767s?
Thanks so much! I was till dot was bc of gate space, we can park more planes next to each other without them.
Hey man great stuff! Thought I’d mention that the little snack bar that you said sells nothing but garbage is the same one they have in our Ramp break rooms in ATL with 🔺. Needs healthier options for the work we do for sure!
appreciate it!
petition to make snacks healthier again!!!
Just stumbled upon this channel i love it ! I have two questions, one, i live in Brighton in the United kingdom do you ever fly to london gatwick ? And also is that scaring under your pecs ?
STN airport. Nope no scaring
I found wearing full body winter coats is the only sustainable way for weather this cold. Vitamin C drops will help too if catching a cold.
Have you ever had a flight where you had to perform a emergency landing?? Thank you for your channel
I have yep. declared an emergency per regulations, but it was uneventful. I talk about it in one of my videos!
It's ok to have treats sometimes 😁🍫🥤
Brrr, that's why I live in Arizona
The 30-50 minute videos are where its at
noted!
Could you please talk about what you look for during 30-second engine runup?
jets do not do engine run ups. Unless you're referring to engine anti ice on prior to TO
@@pilotpetefly Yes, please. That'd be the one. "Engine runup approved. Cleared for take-off RWY 15."
Is to clear any ice on the engine blades( fan) when temperature is below 3 C with engine anti ice ON. @@SeanAwning-er4ww

I finally found a spot outside for it, thank goodness!
one day
I see you manipulate your schedule a lot to have the nyc layovers. Could you do the same thing, trading in and out of trips to travel more internationally if you wanted?
in theory, yes. But people are more willing to give up EWR trips then they are Milan and Paris trips haha
What cologne do you wear, Pete?
Don’t wear
The thing I fear most about EWR is I can’t enunciate Newark very well. People think I I’m saying New York. Do ya need to refresh on ATP/CTP? Or is it just 1 and done, aside from knowing updates.
ATP is one and done
I wondering something. If you have family in another part of the country an had too ship something too em would ya get a discount if shipped it like "Overnight or 2nd Day"? Always wondered that being you're at Fed Ex anyways.
we get discounted shipping, yep
Do any New Yorkers use taxi’s or uber etc. to shop , or is that just too hard to do…living in California I’ve never used a taxi so just wondering
I dont, way too expensive. I subway, ride my bike and scoter everywhere. Only uber to/from airports bc my company pays for it
I know jet A is expensive and wondered if most airlines have a policy on how you manage your fuel loads. How much excess fuel to you usually have onboard for those emergencies that require you to remain airborne and burning fuel???
FAA requires :45min reserves on every flight. More when the weather is bad
I have been flying before on airplanes, but I never experienced to be a pilot so how do you became a pilot when you started your TH-cam channel
I was a pilot first
@ ok
Pete when you layover at home do you get a credit for what the company would have paid for your hotel?
yes, I "bank" $35 per night I cancel the hotels that I can use on future travel
i agree with you can you help me gym routine
Should we start a GO FUND ME for a Winter Coat for you
Yes
Peter Have You Ever took A Shower At The Flight Operations Center 🚿 And Does The Company Provide Body Wash!1 You Do A Vlog With Like You Vlogging After You've Took A Shower At Flight Ops!
I sure have, and yes they do!
Muc
I wan to know your smell 😅
You gotta choose brother… do you want cute hair and wear a sweatband around your head and complain about how cold it is on walk arounds or do you want to be warm and healthy long term…. PUT A HAT ON or you might as well eat a honeybun!!!!
Like Pete says, “Protect the hair at all costs.”
@LoganVass3 HAHHAA FACTS!!
I like cute hair tho! But yes, as the temp drops ive def been wearing a hat!
@LoganVass3 cute hair and an IV in your arm when you didn’t dress for the weather doesn’t mesh.
i work many 12+ hour shifts on the ramp with wind chills down to -40. i never have worn a hat out there. everyone's body is different. a good diet, reasonable sleep, and great hygine is the key to not getting sick when weather both changes and goes to extreemes.
