Zone of Interest into Finding Nemo, his mind
well he has 5 kids 😂
it is one of the best movies of this century. zone of interest is pretty good to
He's being flippant which is classic Hugh Grant.
The girls have fantastic choices and performances in the film, hope they both have great careers!
Hugh Grant is having Kieślowski in his top4 😍 🇵🇱
Some great choices. Blue is one of my favorites of all-time. Zone of Interest stunned me.
Blue is definitely an interesting movie.
RIP phillip seymour hoffman. We really lost a legend 10 years ago
Hugh Grant's top four is flawless.
“I love rewatching happiness” fucking hell
That couch scene......
its a funny movie.
It's a nice flick
Know and love Sophie Thatcher from Yellowjackets, but this is the first I've seen or heard of Chloe East! She's delightful!
Having happiness as one of your top four favorites is so based.
Exactly. All her choices were fantastic.
"The Hateful Eight".
A True Masterpiece 🐐❤️🙌
Unbreakable! Yes! Underrated film 👌
Always a joy to see M. Night on these lists.
Naming the Zone of Interest then Finding Nemo is a what the fuck moment!?!
Yeah but he did have The Sound of Music there too (very much closer to the anination in terms of tone)
A man in touch with his emotions. ❤
@@flickbuster9678 he needed to get it off his chest so he could move on, in life
@ fr
Wings of Desire was my mother's favorite film.😊
0:01 "I instantly warm to you" kinda sorta knowing mia it's a big deal!❤
FINALLY SOMEONE PICK A KIESLOWSKI'S! ONE THE GREATEST DIRECTORS OF ALL TIMES. TOP 10 FOR SURE. And The Stright Story is an underrated gem.
The Zone of Interest and Three Colors: Blue FTW!
all incredible picks!!!! you all rock!
I LOVE HUGH GRANT EVEN MORE FOR THE SOUNDOF MUSIC PICK!
Me too!!!!
Chloe East won me over with The Hateful Eight!!! I saw the roadshow too and her mentioning it really took me back. Great film! And Hugh Grant's list, absolutely perfect.
The My Neighbour Totoro take is a massive W
About Schmidt AND After Hours? Exceptional taste
Chloe East choices were so unexpected, I loved it!
sophie thatcher broke the internet with this one. One of them one's where her choices are so good I'm actually going to see the movie now
This is a level of cinephile I can't reach
Love for Miyazaki - Kurosawa - Kieślowski - Tarantino - Todd Solondz in 2 minutes 52 seconds. What more can one ask for?
UNBREAKABLE!!!!!
Wanna feel old? Listen to somebody say that the movie that got them into cinema came out in 2016 (Hateful 8).
What's even better is how deep into the classics she went exploring once she saw that one.
Didn't fully like that film but so awesome to hear it birthed new cinephiles.
That's 2015
so many of my favorite here I cant believe it
I’m so exited to watch this!
happiness is one of my alltime favourites, good to see it mentioned
Interesting choices all around! About Schmidt, Phantom Thread, Zone of Interest, and Blue are such underrated films. Damn they all got taste.
For YEARS, I've always felt like I was literally the ONLY person on the planet who would put Unbreakable (2000) in their Top 5!!
🤘
Tarantino has it as one of his favourites too.
Easily my favorite Shyamalan
Fascinating array of picks across the board!
omg Happiness? so real Sophie
Three Colours: Blue is an excellent choice!
High and Low🫡🫡🫡🫡 masterclass
Blue! Yes!
Sophie Thatcher has incredible taste.
Betty Blue (1986) is an underrated classic! Beatrice Dalle is an icon!
The Hateful Eight, yes!!!!
heretic was so scary!! highly recommend seeing it in theatres
I respect the About Schmidt choice ! One of my favorites!! Great Jack Nicholson performance
A.I Artificial Inteligence 😢❤😢❤ masterpiece.
Hugh Grant admiring Kieslowski is entirely unusual.
Why is it unusual? Hugh Grant has always been quite open about his admiration for a wide range of foreign directors, including Kieslowski. He has great taste in cinema - he isn’t the same rom-com persona in real life as he is in so many of his earlier films.
Love to see the love for Unbreakable and The Hateful Eight!
High grant three colours blue - love that
High and Low is my favorite Kurosawa as well! A Woman Under the Influence is also a masterpiece.
Today favorite 4 movies: Deep Red ( 1975 ), ... Dark Corners ( 2006 ), ... Stuck ( 2007 ), ... From Beyond ( 1986 ).
One of my favorite movies has Hugh Grant in it and its not a rom com. It's Maurice. It's a masterpiece.
Can’t wait to see heretic
Repo Man love, fuck yes
Sophie Thatcher is so genuine introverted girl with sad movie choices
2:05 she gets it. rarely do people get it
Good picks
Shoutout to the real ones who saw Sophie Thatcher’s first time getting asked her top four.
where was her first? and was it the same?
@ I think she had first said Woman Under the Influence, but the one that she swapped was Betty Blue for Wendy and Lucy
When was it? I didn't know about Sophie until Heretic so I'd love to see more of her picks!
@ it’s pretty old, I think before she even did Boogeyman.
High and Low, HELL yeah. In my top 4 too
great picks all around but i gave a like for the Unbreakable shoutout
I personally like the Sophie Thatcher list best, but otherwise a good selection of the others.
Chloe so cute
For me; Zodiac, Boogie Nights, The Thing (1982), and Amadeus
For me: A L I E N S, Little Miss Sunshine, Rogue One A Star Wars Story, The Shawshank Redemption
I want sophie watchlist
I’m also a Kurosawa fan
A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) ❤
Go for a

scott beck’s movies all started with A 😭😭
HUGH GRANT KNOWS!!!!!!
Chloe East is so underrated
I have never heard someone pronounce "Totoro" like that lol
About Schmidt is awesome and way better than As Good as It Gets IMHO.
I need to marry one of these ladies
what a creep they prolly have bfs or sum. seek help
Kino choices all
Gena Rowlands first name is pronounced GEN NA.
she said GEN NA but while saying the last part it sounded like she swallowed her saliva while saying it
"I need to watch all of [Jean-Luc Godard's] movies!"
No. No, you don't.
Finding Nemon is the best film. Don't know any of the others.
I'm getting out-cinephiled by ALL these guys
Dial M for Murder NICE
So heartbroken over Gena Rowlands that she pronounced her name wrong.
Rare instance of the actors having way better film taste than the directors
Is that girl in black on the hoot?
1.blazing Saddles
2.inglorious bastards
3.Unforgiven
4.Glory
A cornucopia list of films by all.
Just painful to watch someone pronounce it Toto-ro on Letterboxd 😂
Dear Americans, learn how to pronounce Totoro i'm begging you
Sry he has an accent?
What's wrong with his pronunciation?
@@shougokawada8491 it's wrong
@@rudoludo nothing's wrong with it. The stress is correct and he didn't mix up the syllables like another speaker, who called it Toroto.
Stop getting offended by people mispronouncing words that aren't from their language
Gen-z/millennials' picks always seem so calculated to make themselves look sophisticated/highbrow and earn brownie points on film twitter/reddit for liking movies shot on film (in the most shallow way like it's haute couture or a designer label), while the older artists always seem more secure about their tastes and just pick what they genuinely like watching.
daddy chill
The background music is a little loud.
