You can cheese scavenger by just engaging him before the bridge and then grapple him when he does the slam or freeze ray and grapple when he breaks from the ice and it’s a instant kill. EZ cheeze
I was getting bodied by The Heir for like 2 hours, this video gave me a few ideas (parry for the 3rd swing in Heir's phase 1 combo, dodge to the edge of the arena to get out of multi-shockwaves attack, and spamming the wand phase 2) and I took her down in like 15 minutes including my first try making it to phase 2 using wand spam. Thanks a bunch.
Same except I knew there was parrying in the game, but no matter what I did I couldn’t get it to work, I don’t know if I was doing too soon or too late.
These look super fun! Don't know the game, but the bosses are cool :D Edit: the parries seem super satisfying with that sound effect and animation haha
This guy makes parrying look easy and "the quick way" to deal with bosses. Just an FYI, you'll probably get a parry 1/20 times. It's literally a last resort.
With some practice you can get consistent parrying attacks. There's a few attacks where the wind-up is a bit too fast (particularly with the Heir since their swings have different timings) but there's some easy opportunities (i.e. the Heir shooting those blasts at you).
@@CrankyTemplar I mean I don’t doubt there’s opportunities. I’m just saying it’s not the easy way out/the thing people had been missing to beat the game 😅
made it look easy, but how much are you leveled up? I found out by the end of the game that we could use the coins to throw down the well for extra ability card slots. I did enjoy how much you learn by exploring more and getting more pages to the book. Nice run.
@@DefinitelyNotRin Bro, its literally on the floor right in front of you in a corridor you need go to access the second area of the main hub. If you missed it, it isnt the game's fault
I have managed to get to the scavenger boss, but I haven’t beaten it yet. Most of the other bosses have a least a way of dealing massive damage with parry, or can just hit itself (Siege Engine) but the only real big damage that can be done with the Scavenger boss are her bombs, but she rarely runs into them. I just have to get gud with not getting hit.
Ah, I used the wand particularly in P2 as parrying is very good for the fight (especially when they shoot projectiles) but the timing for the sword swings can make parrying inconsistent. It always does the same first move when entering the second phase.
I really wish they made the bosses harder I feel like I kinda wasted money on this after playing through the game beating bosses first time with minimal damage done to me…
I like to think I'm good at games, but the Scavenger boss absolutely decked me for a long time, took me like two dozen tries. Granted I never used items because I thought they were cheap.
I deadass got my ass whooped by every single boss, it’s Guess it’s good to suck at games sometimes 😂 was definitely a short game tho, had no problem with that though it was only $30
after struggling with scavenger a ton, i nearly spit out my drink at how much you bullied them with parries and grapples lmao

Boss Scavenger basically forced me to learn how to parry, it was honestly a lot of fun
well, I didn't used parring to clear the scavenger... it was hard
Wait there’s parrying??
Omg sameeee 😭
It forced me to gid gud

Congrats on defeating them!
Wait, you can parry in this game? Oh god, I did the entire game without parrying...
Same lol

It's not THAT helpful tbh it's practically impossible to time anyway
I feel so stupid. I had no idea.
Honestly for the better. When I noticed u can parry physical attacks the heir especially became a cake walk.
This game is so much fun! I've been doing the New Game+ without locking onto enemies. I'm on the Heir now!
Good luck!
The love the sound affects, expessly with the big mech robot things
Boss scavenger was definitely one of the hardest
Tbh I had the least trouble with him, his moves were the easiest to parry in the whole game
Siege engine no hit is impressive. You didn't even spammed the freeze ray

IT'S CALLED Tunic
@@abasomar7983 I know that... it says in the title. I meant I was unfamiliar with the game, even though I've heard of it, since I've never played it.
...I always forget I have a shield on this game after going so long without it.
The true ending made me cry Imao
Just imagine how hard Siege Engine would've been if you could only damage it by its rear weak spot.
Have you seen the speedrun lol
This game is really cool
Siege Engine is so kind in your party…

Thanks! I forget how much I had but it was somewhere in the 3-5 level for each stat except for HP, which was 6 I believe.
amazing work especially on keyboard where controls are weird
Never found the shield. Hated this game but beat it.
??? Aren't you forced to walk through the room with the shield to continue the story?
Apparently not. Didn't really appreciate having to accidentally find a super important miss-able item.@@lnterest-ing

@@kalash9467 I spent too many hours exploring. Games just shouldn't let you progress on or make it more obvious.
I could not defeat thelibrarian but i did it thanks to the hg with sword ,then spammed shotgun
That is absurd amount of upgrades on heir lmfao
boss razer parrying??
Kinda sad I didn’t get true ending
To be fair you need to some mad button combos
Cranky, have you tried to beat this game with a unupgraded stick?
Nope. I guess it's possible since you can get places without the sword.

I agree, the librarian was such an awesome fight, it just needed to be harder.
dang. I guess you're just built different.
The librarian gave me a REAL run for my money 😅😅
Game is good, but the way to "true ending" is so lame, I'm sure they provided the solution , nobody would waste their time to solve theses puzzles.
What do you mean? I think that the puzzles are equally entertaining than the rest of the game
Plenty of people have solved these puzzles and loved it
doing the puzzle to unock the true ending was the most fun part of it all.
It definitely wasn’t lame, I think it held more meaning
WHAT? Im supposed to do puzzles in a puzzle game for an optional ending?!
