Feel proud that my dad protected a random young girl in distress in an attempted van kidnapping, in front of his garage. He came out of his garage late at night and noticed a girl hiding behind one of his cars, he hid her behind his garage gate, and waited, and then a van drove by slowly, and did a couple laps to trying to find the girl. My dad had a big metal rod or something (mechanic so could be anything lol) and watched them and as they were going past he threw the rod on the side of van and they BOLTED. Drove away and didn't come back. He waited a bit and walked her home about 5/10 mins away.
I protect my daughter and sons and have educated my sons and my husband has even. One time my husband and middle child saw a guy hit his girlfriend. They both ran so fast to the girl. Hubby held back the guy whike havi g my son call 911. The guy took off and hubby was told the guy was her ex boyfriend. My husband told me he held back so much because he wanted to beat the guy. My hubby and boys will if they ever see this they will step up. It's messed up those that just watch and do nothing.
thats the problem tho, you dont know what they can do, try harming you, they prolly got a weapon and im pretty sure if they tried to fight back theyd get overwhelmed easily
I'm definatly the type thst would fight them if I saw this but after a conversation with family I am more aware how easily someone can carry a weapon or them being physically stronger or just a better lier could end up with me in danger so know I try and be like that lady
i mean. in this situation its a young girl and an elderly lady. what are they supposed to do, they cant outfight him physically. there was a period in time during which i was harassed a lot. over time i became more and more aggressive towards them (it was happening on the daily) and lemme tell you, confronting is not certainly the best choice. sure, some tuck in their tail. but some become hostile and dealing with that is complicated as a woman. that being said, a man will think twice about hitting a woman in the crowd, but when you’re not around people it’s dangerous af
I honestly think the lady approached it in the best way. If u have to escalate because they get physical first, then okay. But if not, I don’t see why making an already stressful situation even more stressful. Also being able to be 100% confident in taking the creep down and that they don’t have a weapon. 👌
This kind of crap happens way more than many people think. A year ago, I was coming back grom the university on foot when I felt the presence of a car behind me, tracking my every damn move, like stopping when I stopped or turn where I headed. It took everything in me to keep my cool and try to look as if I did not notice the car. I reached to a local supermarket and that car seemed to come pull up right in front of the main entrance. I went to the supermarket supervisor who led me to the school supplies section way inside (right under the camera) while he went out and watched that car. He came back after 20-ish minutes saying the car stayed there, nobody came in or out of it for good 15 minutes, then they drove away. He stood there, smoking, waited a bit longer so they could not be seen and then went back to me. The man didn't take any form of appreciation from me, so I bought one of their most expensive chocolate sets as a boost for their business and emotional compensation for myself (+he gave me a free choco milk 😊😊😊) Thank you Mr. Choco Milk
That's such a good example of women helping women. Sometimes (as a woman) we have to be strong for other women, because men or other people are unable.
@@steffenbaron9589 no it’s a good example of good ppl helping a person in trouble. Gender has nothing to do with it. Also, (as a woman) it’s not my job or responsibility to be strong for other women who are not my family. You are only the victim once in a situation afterwards you’re a volunteer. And too many women voluntarily stay in situations that they know are bad.
@@maiarobinson3931Robinson, if you had a daughter or a son that age in a bus you wouldn’t want them to get helped? You want people to ignore what is going on because they aren’t related to them? This is your second comment on this short.
I recently saw a teenage girl (13-14) at a bus stop being harassed by an old drunk dude in a pretty sketchy part of town, looking TERRIFIED. The saddest part: there were SEVERAL people there. Some older ladies (which I understand they might be scared), other random adults, and a whole friggin GROUP of young men! They looked at her being harassed and laughed about it, pointing at the situation and making fun of her fear. I watched from afar since I wasn't initially going to the bus stop, but I was ENRAGED seeing how no one helped her. Especially cuz I've been through SO many of these situations as a teen and NO one ever helped. Multiple times I was being harassed and even groped, usually at night, 98% of these incidents happened when I was under 17. Usually I was alone, but sometimes there were other ppl. This one time (I was 15) I was approached again at night at the bus stop by 2 men. They sat next to me on the bench and touched my hair, asking me if I wanna come and do drvgs with them. EVERY single person there just turned away. I stared at some of them in FEAR, silently asking for help. They pretended not to see me. So I wanted to be the change. I'm 22 now and always alert of these situations. So when I saw the girl being harassed by the drunk guy, and all these dudes just laughing, I ran to her. My bf wanted to hold me back, but I just ran and hugged her. She was confused for a sec, but I whispered in her ear while hugging: "just play along". Then I screamed "OMG Jessica! How you doing?? Haven't seen you in ages!", put my arm around her and steered her away. The dude wanted to argue, saying he's her "friend", but I looked at her eyes raising my eyebrow. She understood the silent question and shook her head. So I said "I don't think so, cuz I'm her friend, she never mentioned you". He shattered his beer bottle and started yelling, that's when I took her hand and RAN. He obv couldn't keep up cuz he was so drunk and I asked her if I should bring her home. She was scared he could see us, so I brought her to a friend's home. She felt so bad for needing help, but I told her "girl it's okay, it is NOT your fault!". It kinda healed smth in me too, cuz I wish ppl would've told me that when I was her age. Not gonna lie, I was super scared during the ordeal, esp when he threw the bottle. But I also saw that no one else would help her, and this creep constantly asked her to go home with him while following her around. I know how in that moment you're so frozen with fear, you literally can't get away. But what I found real sad that none of the grown ups helped, even my boyfriend held me back (and left when I went with her) and the WHOLE group of 15 men didn't bother. Like- even if you're scared alone, they could've easily got him as a group. It's pretty sad that me, a young 5'0 girl had to step in, facing a huge drunk guy, while 15 grown men were laughing about it. I think us girls need to stick together and ALWAYS look out for each other! If no one else is gonna help, then we gotta save each other, as long as we're capable. But‼️If you canNOT step in, (which is okay in case you could endanger yourself- if there's a weap0n etc.) then PLEASE at LEAST call the police‼️ Though we shouldn't just teach girls to be afraid we should also teach boys to help and be a good person. Women shouldn't feel so alone in this. In general, I'm often shocked about the lack of civil courage these days in many ways. Everyone just turns away, looking on their phone if smth bad happens. Ppl legit WATCH others get robbed, bullied, have medical emergencies etc. They think "someone else is gonna help for sure" and then no one does. We NEED to change that mindset asap, we NEED to watch out for each other! Anyway, stay safe y'all ❤️🩹
I just finished reading your entire comment and wow. Your story is incredible. You’ve lit a fire in me to pay attention to my surroundings more often. I wish I had friends like you, your so strong and amazing for helping that girl, may you have endless peace and happiness in your life ❤❤
@@solus8685Sadly enough, as a woman, I disagree. I fear other women more than I’d fear a man. Many women, especially some that are young adults and teens now, are bisexual, and they show this type of behavior too. Women often get away with it easier, and it scarrs much more.

I will say this again here...😅 This happened with me once😢. I knew that a senior is following me. My parents were not at home that day and I was walking from school to home. I started walking faster when I realised that that he was following me. I saw a guy who was actually from my section and he was going on cycle so quickly went upto him and told him that someone is following me. He started walking with me and told me to just walk different directions so that the guy do not find out my residence location. He even just walked for straight 2 hours with me just going random ways and all... And when the senior left, he dropped me home too... But he was late for home. Not only that... the boys from class even fought with the seniors on this topic. I am so thankful to him and others for helping me...❤🎉 Edit💕:- the point of my comment doesn't show or mean any romantic way that some people are referring to. The thing I learnt is- Boys helped a girl from a boy so those 'boys' are actually the real men we have in our society and that 'boy' represents the demon... Stay blessed everyone... And ya! If you think this is fake then so it be... It's upon you. I have no rights to push my own experience to you😅🙏🏻🫂
I feel like so many women experience this and it’s plain sad. Thank god i have a 100lb Rottweiler. I don’t have a fenced in yard so i have to walk him very frequently throughout the day. I’m a young 5’2, petite, woman. One night i was walking him late at night. I have a park basically in my back yard and there’s a lot of grass and paths for people to walk. There is also a bus stop right there. There were 2 middle aged guys sitting on the bus bench. I was peacefully walking my dog past on the path past the bench. That’s when the one guy said “that’s a very pretty dog for a very pretty girl”. I was sketched and just acted like i didn’t hear him. I proceeded to walk. Now keep in mind my Rottie is very protective and a resource guarder. He was peeing on a bush n all of a sudden he looked past me, i see his eyes widen, his ears go up, his lip up showing his teeth, and he started growing. He lunged, spinning me around, and i feel a hand on my butt. My dog knocked the dude to the ground and was ready to bite his face off. I didn’t even realize he was behind me till my dogs reaction then obviously a hand on my ass for that split second. He was screaming like a baby “get your f*cking dog”. I had to hold onto the leash for dear life holding my dog back from biting his face. I called my dog off and cussed him out. I asked him why he thought it was okay to sneak up on me and touch me inappropriately. Of course he didn’t have an answer. I told him i hope he learned his lesson and called him a pig. It’s scary to think how fast he snuck up behind me being quiet enough for my dog not to notice him till he got that close. God only knows what would have happened if my heaven sent dog wasn’t there. I told a male friend this story and he said “well if you didn’t have to walk your dog late then that would have never happened”. Which hurt me cause that’s not the point. I shouldn’t have to worry about something like that happening. No one should, male or female. I should be able to walk my dog morning or night while feeling safe. The craziest part is that’s not the only time something like that happened and my dog came to the rescue. Another night a few months later i was walking my dog. I was walking on this U shaped road. I was coming towards the middle of it. This nice car came speeding passed with the window down. This guy made eyes contact with me for that split screen. All of a sudden he breaked so hard it left tire marks. The man reversed a bit and said “hey gorgeous”. My heart dropped to my ass. I started backing up. I again said nothing. He then opened his door and started to get out while saying “come on you don’t gotta be scared, come talk to me”. Like cmon dude that’s what they all say🤦🏻♀️. He fully got out of the car and went to walk towards me while i was speed walking backwards. As soon as he took that first step my dog lost his marbles and started growling, barking, showing his teeth, and lunging. I told him if he didn’t leave me alone i’d let the leash go. He got back in the car and told me to go f*ck myself. lmao the irony. He gave me sex trafficking vibes. The part that really scared me the most is when i got closer to the end of the street i saw his car just sitting there lights off. I never so quickly turned around and ran for dear life. It’s really sad this is the world we live in. I love my dog so much and as crazy as it sounds i’d give my life for him. I’d legit do anything for him. He’s shown so much love, loyalty, and protection. Idk what i’d do without him. Anyways I hope everyone stays safe!!Always be aware of your surroundings no matter how “safe” the area is and always listen to your gut!! Instincts never lie. Remember It’s always better to be wrong rather then letting your guard down and ending up in a dangerous situation❤

@@snusmumricken it's nice to see there's some guys who understand. I see so many men who comment on these types of videos saying dismissive things to make it out like the women are dramatic, and these things only happen in movies, never in real life. But he's also got military training and not afraid to fight anyone who attacks him, so of course he doesn't understand. I used to get harassed when I was just 9 when going home from school then this one boy age 17 and acted like my brother, it’s like god went and sent an Angel for me so I would be comfortable walking home. Haven’t seen him since and now I’m 16, may god bless him
I hate how people only teach their daughters to protect themselves etc etc, but dont teach their son to behave and respect females. What a diplomatic society we live in-
I saw a school girl being followed by some boys. The group of boys might be high schooler and the girl is middle schooler. I was in college. Just my freshman years, so even though older I was still a lot fearful and not confident. But Once I saw the boys doing weird body movement behind her something snapped in me. I suddenly went ahead of the boys and loudly started chatting with girls saying how is study going if my younger sister being good to them as friends and I could treat them today since I am done with my lectures today and some of my other friends will join us. The girl was scared of me first as suspect she didn’t know she was being followed. But the group of boys kept behind us for a long time so I started to push the girl to a rickshaw that's when she met with two of her friends, she wanted them to save her from me but all I wanted for them to go away. After the girl left the boys started to pointedly look at me and kept following me and I realized they were not simple high schoolers. So I hurriedly went to the nearby police station and called my brother. I just hope they never went behind that girl afterwards. Now that I am an adult-adult, I try to look out for younger girls on the streets.
This movie “Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982” is based on the book. It’s a pretty quick read but was a hugely controversial book as the author talks through her main character about her experiences with misogyny in Korea. It’s often credited with triggering the modern feminism wave in Korea. I personally had to take breaks reading it bc my heart hurt reading it especially as a woman with my own experiences.
Happened to me once, midnight, second to last stop, me and a wasted construction worker were the last passengers. I had walked three metres when he approached me and talked to me, "inviting me to his house for some tea". I was so scared but the bus driver had had an eye on us the entire time. He stopped right next to me and said he'll wait around and watch me until I was behind my front door. So thankful to that attentive driver!!
The situation in India is really very bad and incidents (r@pe) happened in broad daylight. I rarely go out from my house like for exams and few days ago I had exam and I was walking a man on bike came near me and said do you want a lift to the metro station, I said no with an angry face and this happened during day around 3 o'clock afternoon. I was shocked because there were many people walking mostly students and yet he had the courage to ask nonsense things. Whenever we watch harassment/ violence against women we never think that someday this thing could also happen with us no matter how many people are around us because this is India. 😢😢😢😢
This happened with me too. I was in college at that time, and that area was safe. I somehow managed to shoo him away, and I never took that road until I was in college to go to my home. I always took main road to go to bus station.
Right..... It may happen even with people around us. Also happened to me a few years back when I went for a mock test I used to go with one of my friend in an auto rickshaw and the man who sat beside me was constantly elbowing my breasts and bcz we were sitting 3 on that seat, tightly packed so I just froze, scared and could not react as some previous trauma got induced there. As something like that happened to me when I was in class 4 or 5 , in the school bus the senior boy who was sitting beside me just slipped his hands under my skirt and kept on touching my thighs when I fell asleep while returning back to my home. When I felt the touch and woke slowly and realised what was going on but couldn't understand what to do and froze there too. After that I could never fall asleep when some boy is sitting beside me.

Always walk with something that can help you defend yourself wherever you go. just chose the class camerawoman they have high agility and can record bastards(just run its easier and safer than direct fight and its not like woman are inferior to men when it comes to running)
This happened to me... Multiple times. I was a naive kid that thought that being nice was the best course of action. Its hard to speak up and get help because you cant control how they may act. I had to delete all my social media, tape up all my cameras, barely went out on my own, not even to the grocery store below my apartment, everytime i went outside i was extremely paranoid, i couldnt even open my windows, my curtains were always drawn closed, I never went out when the sun set, not even with friends or family, I never wore a skirt or shorts or sleeveless tops, always covered myself, even when it was very hot, i always changed my route, i always let everyone know where im going. I became very withdrawn and quiet. I used to be able to make friends so easily but after that happened it became extremely hard for me to even look at other people's faces. A huge part of my teen years was me just hiding from the world because of that wretched experience. Until i finally found my voice. Just letting people know what i was going through gave me the help and confidence i needed to keep myself safe till i shifted away and cut all my contacts from that place.

The facts that most of the comments start with, "that happened to me/a friend/ sister/ someone I know," is indeed heartbreaking.... What excuse do we use now when you have a fully clothed young woman coming from school, not drinking, not flirting, and trying everything to avoid this predator? Mind you, it wouldn't matter if she was walking around completely naked- You still have no right to try to touch or force yourself on her or anyone. I don't care if you guys are about to go at it. If at any point she/he says NO, that's the end of it. How many more ways do we want to blame the victims instead of teaching our men that this behavior is wrong and to revamp our laws to show how serious we are about others stalking, harassing, assaulting and raping our women. There has not been, not even ONE generation since the beginning of time when women and children have not been the victims of sexual assualt...😢 (And yes, I know it happens to boys and men), but it happens 80% more to women and girls. When will women and girls be able to simply exist without having to look over our shoulders???? 😢
Sad thing is, this behavior is more common in Korea. I think the point of this KDrama was to act as a PSA that women aren't safe over there either. I've heard horror stories of Korean Men getting girls beligerantly drunk and taking them home. Ofc, this happens everywhere, but I've heard it's particularly awful in Korea.
@@shampoo_fairyyy I don't think you mean "belligerently" (not "beligerantly ")...this means aggressive or ready to fight. Not sure that this applies to drunk young girls who are vulnerable to exploitation and r4pe.

A lady once saved me similar to this... Crazy part I didn't even know I was in danger at that time!! I still get chills thinking about what could have happened that night. Thank you to that lady. We should all look to protect kids in need of help ❤
It has happened with me so many times while growing up. Nobody ever came for help and I realized I have to be strong and be there for myself all the time instead of fearing and waiting for help.
Why should a woman have to put herself in an unsafe situation to protect another woman? Shouldn't the world just be a safer place for us so we don't have to protect ourselves and each other so fiercely?
@@thatskumsHonestly, if you believe you can protect yourself and a fellow woman in danger, absolutely go for it. However, there are instances where the woman "saving" is just not capable of doing it successful. Nonetheless, we should all try to do at least something to prevent a fellow girl from getting traumatized, harmed, harassed etc. You can also save or protect someone from the sidelines, like recording (if legally allowed), calling the police or asking someone to save her if you think the "attacker" is too big of a threat. It's easy to say these things, I know, but difficult to execute. Let's just try to first protect ourselves and then protect others. It's selfish but we gotta learn to put ourselves first. Very easily, the woman trying to save could become a victim as well. So take risks at your own accord. Always think of yourself first and whether you can handle. Check for all possible alternatives before executing a plan. If you think it's worth risking your life to protect a girl's innocence, absolutely go for it, but remember to protect yourself too. I have always tried to help girls around me in any way possible. But luckily, I never got harmed. So if you aren't going to get seriously hurt, and there's an easy escape route, please save the girl ❤
Something like this happened to my friend. A few months ago she was assaulted by a 70 year old man. He grabbed her and kissed her. She reported it to the police but they didn’t do much because she had no proof. Then recently that same man followed her home from work and knows where she lives now. He kept knocking on her door, but her parents are shit and just told her he would go away. I’ve told her multiple times to just move closer to me because we live 20 hours away from each other by car. Her parents won’t let her tho. They want control of her life even tho she’s 23. They bought her apartment so I guess that’s also a way of keeping her close, but they don’t care about her mental health problems and just tells her she’s making them up. I just really want her to move closer. She has grandparents 40 minutes away from me and an uncle 30 minutes away. We also have another friend in common that lives 30 minutes away, so she would have support by family and friends if she moved closer. She’s her own person and she should be able to move away from a place she feels unsafe in. To all the people who have experienced something like this, please don’t be afraid to tell people what happened. Even if we don’t know each other I support you, and I hope you heal from your trauma❤
Tell your friend to install cameras and secure her windows. If that man knows where she lives she is NOT safe. If you know you're being followed going home is your WORST mistake
@@kentucky_fc she thought she got away from him when she took the bus, but somehow he found the way. Idk if she can install cameras, but I’ll mention it to her. Happened to me when I was in 10th grade. I was in a public transport bus in school uniform. Missed my regular bus due to Sports Day practice and had to take a later bus. It had become dark. A middle aged man behind me was trying to grope me. I was too scared to say anything. I turned pale and moved to the edge of my seat. My eyes were filled with tears. Thankfully, the lady sitting next to me notice me and gave it to the man behind me. This was in the early 90s. I reached home and my mum was waiting on the road worried. We didn't have a phone those days. Gives me a shudder when I think of all the incidents my friends and I had to go through in public transport.

This happened to me in chennai when i was pregnant 5 months. It was night time I was waiting for the cab that i booked to go home. That time a guy think he was drunk was smiling at me in weird way and kept following wherever i went. I saw a middle aged guy talking over his phone sitting on his bike. So i went his side and stood their 2 to 3 feets away from him. I was afraid to ask for his help. This drunk guy came and stood near me . He say the guy in the bike and waited for him to go. The bike guy finished his call and was about to leave when he turned and looked at me and this drunk person he immediately stopped his bike and sat there staring at drunk guy. Thankfully my cab came and i got in quickly and left. Im so Thankful for the guy with bike for not leaving.
As someone who s been in this situation before, the way i sighed in relief as the girl broke down in the hug of the sweet lady. The actors really captured how terrifying it can be even in crowded places
This reminded me a bit of when i got sexually harrased by an old man on a train when i was 11, i sat in a four seater right by the window and he came and sat right in front of me even tho there were so many other spots. He looked in his 40/50s and he just stared at me, i was heading to school in my school uniform (my dress was covering my shoulders and my skirt was past my knees i was not asking for it.)i was nervous so i just stared at my phone until i felt something and he had put his hand under my dress and had his hand ony thigh. I didnt want to say anything cause as soon as i looked at him he glared at me and he was quite big so i knew if he did try smth he would win. I crossed my legs so his hand would fall off and he left me alone for a couple seconds, then he did it again and reached higher. I was so scared that i didn't even realise we were at my station but i heard the doors close and immediately stood up and walked to the door to get off as soon as possible. Then he randomly cat called me, i ignored then he said hey sl*t so i looked and he pointed at my waterbottle id left behind, so i grabbed it and said thankyou and walked back to the door while trying not to cry then a guy who looked in his 20s sitting behind him said 'OI, JUST LEAVE HER ALONE' and i font really rember what was said after i just remember hearing them both screaming and the guy pointing at me saying i was asking for it, while i was crying while not making it to obvious. Finally we got to the next station and once i got off i broke down crying but this rlly sweet girl in like grade 11/12 (different school uniform) asked if i was ok and gave me a hug. I always move whenever middle aged men sit near me on the train now.
Sadly I went up to 2 females to stand by them for help from a man, and let’s just say they weren’t welcoming or helpful. All I asked is “hey could I possibly just stand by y’all”, yeah they were definitely no help.
I was on the el one night in 1970. A man sat next to me even though there were plenty of open seats. He pulled out his Johnson and proceeded to grab my leg. I remember reading an article by a policewoman that said to act crazy during an assault. I did just that, turning to him while ripping the pages out of my book. He asked me where 13th street stop was.....then jumped up and off at the next stop. There were a few men sitting here and there, but they ignored us. My parents asked why I didn’t cry for help; ask the men sitting there to help me; it was useless to tell them no one cared to help, so I helped myself. I got off at 16th street and ran all the way to the club where my boyfriend’s gig was.
This short came to me suddenly, and when I saw the comments, I felt really bad but when I saw some comments that told that some people helped them was a little better that there are still people who are good! I never had any kinds of incidents like this, there are many people in my neighbour I can trust, and there are MEN and WOMEN both, who are good-hearted, even my whole family support me, literally everyone! I wish no-one have this kind of incident with them ever in their life! 🙏🏻
you its been a week I think my father told me when he goes for work in other city a young girl approach him and point toward a man and she said that that man is stalking her from college she told my father to wait and stand with him my father ask her why she is alone so she tell him that she is college student and her mother told her to wait for her so she is doing that but the other man start stalking her after a while the stalker back off and the mother of the girl arrive she started crying after seeing her mother the mother also shed tears they thanks our father, my father told us this when my elder sister insists on going to college, he is so protective of us we are four sister without any brother so as only daughter father he is really protective of us
this happened to me once... i was at the mall by myself when i turn around to see a group of boys just staring at me. They looked liked seniors, and thought they went to my school (because my school has a lot of people). But when i started walking around i see them following me, i got pretty scared so a speed walked to try to get away from them. But, then they just kept following, i knew i was getting stalked and i was on the verge of tears. so i ran to the washroom and found someone to give me their phone because mine had died and my mom picked me up. It was really traumatizing so now i got to the mall will friends. (also the boys kept following me to the car so i bolted and bawled my eyes out in the car telling my mom everything.)

This happened to me except no one helped me. I was nearly drowned in a public pool in front of life guards, counselors, other kids… because it was funny, him pushing my head under water because I wouldn’t kiss him. I used to be a medal-winning swimmer. I stopped swimming that summer. Another time I was assaulted in a school stairwell where I was followed to. Insisted on karate lessons after that. Please stand up for people who can’t help themselves. I was a kid. I wish someone had thought it wasn’t funny and helped me.

once I was sitting at a bus stop and a homeless man came up to me and started speaking in a foreign language. He smelled very bad and was very dirty. People at the bus stop moved a little aside from us, the men turned away as if they did not notice me. I was shaking with fear because I didn't know what to do. At that time I was only 12. I remember a woman who called me to come to her and when I ran to her, she covered me with her body. I remember how grateful I was to her then
Happened to me too. A younger guy would not leave me alone. The faster I walked he was on my heels. I didn't want to expose where I was staying and so I ran to a little rout that turned into a dark corner. I was cornered and had no where to go and he stood right in front of me. I was in the moment wondering what was going to happen when all of a sudden a neighbor shouted from his window "what are you guys doing there?" The persurer stopped turned his head to look towards the neighbor and I ran past him to my apartment. The guy had the nerve to come look for me past my windows just outside. I stayed in the one spot behind the front door that could not be seen through the windows paralyzed. Scary shit.
Women need to recognize and help other women. That's what we are supposed to do and why we have that deep internal gut feeling that men don't always have. 😢
I’m gonna make a story that was actually true (it happened to my sister) so one day she was walking it was around 9 pm at night she was walking home from the store and there was a boy around 17 18 idk anyways the boy lets call him trash so trash was following my sister lets call her Emily and Emily knew it and she started to walk faster but trash ran towards her and grabbed her arms and pulled her to an alley and pinned her to a wall and covered her mouth and put a knife under the neck and Emily was crying and trying to let go but thankfully there was a man that came running towards trash and pushed him away and my sister was crying and crying and she called me and told me everything and I told my parents and we went there and saw the boy on the ground with the man next to him holding trash’s handcuffed arms and we went home and my sister is still scared that day she never wants to go out alone (Btw it was my sister she told me everything so please don’t like but read if you want to or just leave it no problemo 😊)
In 9th grade there was a guy harassing and threatening all the girls to the point of following one of them home and sending her pictures of her home. Soon as the football team heard about it they jumped him in the bathroom and hospitalized him, the creep got expelled and the guys that beat him up for suspended.
This happened to my brother... So, I wanted to talk to my friend and I told him to go home by walk.. He told me that an old man approached him and asked him if he wanted a ride. Luckily my brother ignored him and came back to our school. After that incident, I never left him alone.
This happened to me once, some people were following from a car without a license, and the driver of the vechile I was riding said noticing that very same van following after teenage girls at night, so bless that man for actually dropping me off just out the guard house, and helping me avoid another possible kidnapping.
I once went out to buy some groceries at like 7.30 to 8pm. I was 14. I was on a call and walking. a man drove past me before coming back He acted surprised and said he knew me. He grabbed my wallet and said it was pretty I was terrified he gave it back and said "I have more money than you what're you scared of?" And he proceeded to tell me he knew my dad and he would tell him I had a "boyfriend" since he thought the person on call was my bf. I had a phone in my hand I couldve called my dad or anyone to begin with but somehow I couldnt even move. I built up all my strength and walked away but he followed me. At the same time some guys just got out of their class and they instantly noticed me and I was on the verge of crying they looked back at the man and he drove off. Later an older man who I knew walked me home as I asked help since he followed me again.
my country doesn’t even allow us to carry pepper spray, nothing sharp meant to hurt, nothing at all except for a rape alarm / whistle. nobody gives a fuck about a rape alarm. nobody will save you before a rape happens when they hear the alarm. nobody will call the cops for you after it happens either. as someone who has cptsd from rape and multiple other instances of sexual assault, i feel hopeless and helpless living in this reality where my country thinks a rape alarm would keep someone from getting raped, or that if we use pepper spray against an aggressor attempting to rape us (without a weapon) then we are the ones who will be arrested and criminally charged for aggravated assault with intent to cause bodily harm.
My daughter was waiting on the bus after work, on one of our busiest streets, and this van pulls into the parking lot behind her. He tried to get her to come to the van to give him directions. He drove off and came back a few minutes later, even saying he'd take her where she was going after. She always carries a knife, and was on the phone with a friend at the time. He started to get out of the van when the bus pulled up and she ran on. Thankfully, the driver noticed and shut the doors so he couldn't get on.
@@shivag73 omg that's terrible. I got such anxiety just thinking about what could have happened to her. I'm very cautious of vans, even in the daylight I never go near them.
@@sonja.5035 People called me paranoid when our girls were growing up for teaching them to trust their instincts. If someone set off alarms, there's a reason. I also signed them up for self defense. Now, this one always carries and the other is military so I worry just a smidgen less.
What a great idea by such a caring woman. thank God, she was there & could understand & acted genuinely & smoothly. a real Angel and greatest rescuer. And I can say that this young girl was very lucky too.
I love this so much. My experiences as a teen were similar but with different endings. The difference was I grew up in the hood and moved to a very nice neighbourhood at 12. I was prepared for violence, just didn't expect it to come in nice environments. I was followed home at least 5x that I can remember. The scariest time was when I was 14, 173cm tall (5'7"), and an athlete, so with clothes, I looked like a baby-faced string bean. I was followed across town and my neighbourhood was new, so the bus didn't go farther than my stop. I had to cross an open field, and an empty school yard to get to my house in 15 minutes. Because this guy was following me, I had to go the long way via the street, 45 mins to my house. He was closing the gap so I had to walk past my empty house and cut around a blind corner. When he passed the corner, I jumped him and beat his ass. Real bad. The adrenaline was pumping and it was hard to stop myself. When I knew he wasn't able to follow me, I ran home and soaked my hands in ice bowls. I was panicked waiting to see if it would be on the news cuz I didn't know his condition. Never heard anything. The scariest part? This was in the middle of Paul Bernardo's reign as the Scarborough G-rapist, before he turned into a serial killer. Google him. I can't tell you how many times the cops saw me get off the bus and drive me home. They knew me from the restaurant I worked at and always were amazed that I worked a job so young. I'm grateful to them.
I love this story and greatly admire your strength and courage. I'm not sure I would have had that kind of gumption at your age. I am so glad you didn't get hurt and I hope it cured his damned stalking. Soaked your hands in ice bowls?? LOL! I definitely would have needed a weapon. Did you ever tell anyone?
I was walking back to my car parked on our Broad Street after my first Young Adult church group dinner. I saw two young attractive darker skin women in front of me. Clearly besties. After they crossed the street (I felt kind of awkward cus I was walking the same direction and didn’t want them to think I had ill intentions) and I crossed too there was this stupid looking little car like a Honda Civic. With several darker skin men inside. One of them yelled something out his window at the young women and signaled his buddy to park. He did and the man exited the car and approached the women. I sped up and walked between the man and the women. I asked a little hushed as they started to walk with me hey are yall ok and they nodded yes and walked more away. The man gave up and went back in his car. As we walked away they said thank you. I said I wasn’t sure if you two knew him or not so you know I was just making sure yall were safe and they go no we didn’t know him. Thank you. And we walked more down the street. They stopped at a store (I had been walking behind them for nearly a block which was awkward) and I finally got to my car. I kept glancing at them just to make sure they were ok. I wanted to offer them a ride as I didn’t see them go to a car. But I didn’t want to seem weird.
I have a 9 yr old daughter and I started teaching her young. As she got older I was teaching her to be aware of her surroundings and she said I was scaring her. It broke my heart but I told her I was teaching her to not be scared but to be prepared. It's such a fine line of teaching our daughter's to be safe but not to scare them. I don't want her to be scared of life but to understand to be safe while she's experiencing it.
That happened to me too… thing is I am one of those people who is not afraid much.. but when he came out of an alleyway and started fallowing me and my boyfriend…. I was mortified… because my boyfriend had 0 idea we were being followed, and I could potentially be in danger. i looks the person dead in the eyes wen we came to an intersection…. No words were spoken…. But I guess he understood what my eyes were saying…. “ you better get out of here before Ithis gets ugly….I really don’t want to get arrested..” he hid his face, and instead of following us like he intended he walked away Scary stuff, truth is.. the was this girl acts is how stalkers want you to act, they like being in power, I’m not saying you should not handle things by yourself all the time.. but show a brave face…. And widen your eyes.. when predators hunt their prey their eyes widen , you can do the same thing with your eyes to make yourself seem more threatening. She made herself look like prey…. That’s the opposite of what you want.

I hate how confronting the pervert is absolutely out of question.
I understand where your coming from, but sometimes confronting can make the situation worse, still I understand what your trying to say
thats the problem tho, you dont know what they can do, try harming you, they prolly got a weapon and im pretty sure if they tried to fight back theyd get overwhelmed easily
The man didn't take any form of appreciation from me, so I bought one of their most expensive chocolate sets as a boost for their business and emotional compensation for myself (+he gave me a free choco milk 😊😊😊)
Thank you Mr.

I am so thankful to him and others for helping me...❤🎉

Every girl I mean every girl in this world no matter which part of this earth can feel what that girl felt in this video..that fear when the boy stopped and that comfort and out of fear when that lady come to help..every ounce of this video ❤❤..
Omg just because of the replies I came back to watch this reel and my comment and was surprised to see that my comment has reached these many people thank you so much..and I wish everyone to be be respectful and kind to one another

im a guy who has been through this, and it drives me nuts men claiming they have it just as hard a women. Maybe 3 of the guys I know have suffered. Every single woman I know. No matter the age. Has suffered.
This happened when I was walking home with my mom! She stopped, grabbed me in her arms and looked at the man until he turned and walked away.
@@snusmumricken it's nice to see there's some guys who understand. I see so many men who comment on these types of videos saying dismissive things to make it out like the women are dramatic, and these things only happen in movies, never in real life. I'd like to think they're probably just young or don't have sisters or daughters so they're oblivious, but it's still so frustrating. My dad is one of those men. But he's also got military training and not afraid to fight anyone who attacks him, so of course he doesn't understand.
I'm glad to know at least half the population of humans feel safe, but I just wish they understood why every girl and some guys don't.
@@snusmumricken We all have our own struggles as people. There ain’t no point discussing with someone, who tries to make it about who “has it worst”. When it comes to feeling unsafe and knowing you are at a biological disadvantage to even help yourself. Thats a feeling only women can understand, just weakness and helplessness. Especially when the predators are always men praying on women.
This happened to me . A boy followed me and I ran but it was a dead end and he cornered me but then my best friend came running and saved me shielding me with his body.thats why were married now.
Well that changed quick

This is how a woman should be❤. Everyone says that women is women’s first enemy so lets change ❤ and help every woman as possible 😊

Every woman would do that tho, atheist the people I've met
They say this to divide is, our enemy has ALWAYS been men like this!

I used to get harassed when I was just 9 when going home from school then this one boy age 17 and acted like my brother, it’s like god went and sent an Angel for me so I would be comfortable walking home. Haven’t seen him since and now I’m 16, may god bless him
Seems like k drama lol 😭😂

U did a great job 👏
Gud .. very gud .. ✨
You are an amazing person ❤️
You made the best choice.....
God bless u dear❤
This movie “Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982” is based on the book. It’s a pretty quick read but was a hugely controversial book as the author talks through her main character about her experiences with misogyny in Korea. It’s often credited with triggering the modern feminism wave in Korea. I personally had to take breaks reading it bc my heart hurt reading it especially as a woman with my own experiences.
🙏♥️
So is the scene in the movie? Or is it a book?
Women looking out for women it’s so heartwarming
I would leave out the genders aside and this was just human being looking out for another human being
Happens more often than the other way around so idk why people are pointing it out at all..
It’s just sad knowing things like this happen to real people guys and girls stay safe
Stay safe! Learn how to fight/self defense
This happened with me too. I was in college at that time, and that area was safe. I somehow managed to shoo him away, and I never took that road until I was in college to go to my home.
I always took main road to go to bus station.
Right..... It may happen even with people around us.
Also happened to me a few years back when I went for a mock test
I used to go with one of my friend in an auto rickshaw and the man who sat beside me was constantly elbowing my breasts and bcz we were sitting 3 on that seat, tightly packed so I just froze, scared and could not react as some previous trauma got induced there.
I am also from India nd u are absolutely right
Do u know about kolkata case which is recently happend in West bengal ?

Always walk with something that can help you defend yourself wherever you go. I was called a freak at school because of this, and i din't care, cause i made one of my colleagues bleed because of this kind of situation, i'll rather hurt you than get hurt and help someone out of this kind of situation.
I can go down, but you're going with me too. Don't hesitate to save yourself when it comes to self-defence, even if there needs to be blood!

I used to take a knife in my bag for protection in the late 90s 😅! Nobody knew ..not even my mom 😂
just chose the class camerawoman
they have high agility and can record bastards(just run its easier and safer than direct fight and its not like woman are inferior to men when it comes to running)
I hope you're doing better now! Sending virtual hugs 🫂 ❤
Oh my god
I wanna hug u right now and tell u r the strongest person everrrrr u know what always speak for yourself and believe in yourself ❤️❤️

Its daylight i was walking alone going back to my office where i work. The man saw me walking by myself and a few people walking fast so i can't ask for help. I pray and pray i almost cry then three college students in uniform are passing and instead of heading to my office i made a quick turn and join them walking. And told them the creepy guy is following me. They help me out thanks to these nice and kind students. I took a taxi cab and lower my head since i am so scared.I hope there are police officers or guards to patrol on that area...Because i pray and pray God send these students to help me.🥺
When I was 16 , legal age in BC Canada , 55 year old men were surrounding me and hitting on me on the bus. A few guys from my school surrounded me and beat the guy up. They were the “skids” of my school but they were there. I think about them a lot most are fathers now and I just think how lucky those kids are. Thank you boys for helping me.
you really spittin truth !!!!
@@kateoc8 why thank you, I really appreciate it

A lady once saved me similar to this... Crazy part I didn't even know I was in danger at that time!! I still get chills thinking about what could have happened that night. Thank you to that lady. We should all look to protect kids in need of help ❤
It has happened with me so many times while growing up. Nobody ever came for help and I realized I have to be strong and be there for myself all the time instead of fearing and waiting for help.
Women protect women. If a women cant do that much, they dont deserve the love of other women.
Same thing men can say why they help @@thatskums
I also told her to tell her parents right away and record if something happens. The police won’t help without documentation.. which is really sad. But thank you for the suggestion

If guys like this didn’t exist the world would be damn close to perfect
God Bless this woman for helping this young lady
My first year of highschool, in a city I never been by myself in .. one night after a school event I was on the city bus alone when 3 young drunk dudes came and sat around me ... One kept trying to touch my hair and asking me I was going am 14 and never had this happen to me in my small reserve.
So it was really scary in a bigger place, city... To the point he was trying to grab my hand and say come to a party. I had no idea what I was gunna do.. a native girl in 2004 doubt anyone was gunna help me until the bus driver came to my rescue called me to the front and asked were are you going again come sit up here and tell me where... And I didn't even ask him, and because I was abit away from the stop he drove down my street and dropped me off outside my house.. and all that time those guys sat there and waited.. if it wasn't for the bus driver...I thought they would of jumped off with me...34 now and i never forgot what that driver did for me ❤

Instead of thinking that we could help someone, it is better to help them and instead of worrying, sleep in peace.
This actress acts like a mom in every kdrama I love her
Shez an angel
But when i started walking around i see them following me, i got pretty scared so a speed walked to try to get away from them. But, then they just kept following, i knew i was getting stalked and i was on the verge of tears. so i ran to the washroom and found someone to give me their phone because mine had died and my mom picked me up. once I was sitting at a bus stop and a homeless man came up to me and started speaking in a foreign language.
I was in the moment wondering what was going to happen when all of a sudden a neighbor shouted from his window "what are you guys doing there?"
The persurer stopped turned his head to look towards the neighbor and I ran past him to my apartment. The guy had the nerve to come look for me past my windows just outside. I stayed in the one spot behind the front door that could not be seen through the windows paralyzed. Scary shit.

I’m gonna make a story that was actually true (it happened to my sister) so one day she was walking it was around 9 pm at night she was walking home from the store and there was a boy around 17 18 idk anyways the boy lets call him trash so trash was following my sister lets call her Emily and Emily knew it and she started to walk faster but trash ran towards her and grabbed her arms and pulled her to an alley and pinned her to a wall and covered her mouth and put a knife under the neck and Emily was crying and trying to let go but thankfully there was a man that came running towards trash and pushed him away and my sister was crying and crying and she called me and told me everything and I told my parents and we went there and saw the boy on the ground with the man next to him holding trash’s handcuffed arms and we went home and my sister is still scared that day she never wants to go out alone
(Btw it was my sister she told me everything so please don’t like but read if you want to or just leave it no problemo 😊)

Every girl or a woman out there need to have something on them ( like pepper spray) to protect themselves in this kind of situations.
my country doesn’t even allow us to carry pepper spray, nothing sharp meant to hurt, nothing at all except for a rape alarm / whistle.
nobody gives a fuck about a rape alarm. nobody will save you before a rape happens when they hear the alarm. nobody will call the cops for you after it happens either.
as someone who has cptsd from rape and multiple other instances of sexual assault, i feel hopeless and helpless living in this reality where my country thinks a rape alarm would keep someone from getting raped, or that if we use pepper spray against an aggressor attempting to rape us (without a weapon) then we are the ones who will be arrested and criminally charged for aggravated assault with intent to cause bodily harm.
Aww shes so nice and i love how she recognized everything. I could never. We need to be more like her❤❤❤❤
What a great idea by such a caring woman. thank God, she was there & could understand & acted genuinely & smoothly. a real Angel and greatest rescuer. And I can say that this young girl was very lucky too.
Always feels proud when i see a lady like that
I love this so much.
Did you ever tell anyone?
oh my gosh that must have been real bad its such a good thing you relied on your instincts and gut feelings
If I was in that situation I would not get out of the bus 😮
So you would ride to a part of town you don’t know to get out there when the bus turns around?
We women live the same old sh#$& in all parts of the world regardless of race and religion.
When angel disguise as human ♥️
I wish more people were like this. When I tried to signal for help everyone just ignored me. Please please please be more like the lady in this clip!
i love the actress sm, shes like the comfort character in every k-drama she acts in
She was so scared. I can imagine the relief she felt. She literally could not stand when the threat was removed.
Omg i love this female actor, the lady! She did good in the glory i believe it was her
That happened to me too… thing is I am one of those people who is not afraid much.. but when he came out of an alleyway and started fallowing me and my boyfriend…. I was mortified… because my boyfriend had 0 idea we were being followed, and I could potentially be in danger. i looks the person dead in the eyes wen we came to an intersection…. No words were spoken…. But I guess he understood what my eyes were saying…. “ you better get out of here before Ithis gets ugly….I really don’t want to get arrested..” he hid his face, and instead of following us like he intended he walked away
Scary stuff, truth is.. the was this girl acts is how stalkers want you to act, they like being in power, I’m not saying you should not handle things by yourself all the time.. but show a brave face…. And widen your eyes.. when predators hunt their prey their eyes widen , you can do the same thing with your eyes to make yourself seem more threatening. She made herself look like prey…. That’s the opposite of what you want.
It’s scary going through those moments and it’s a blessing when someone is brave enough to try and help
I know this is not related but Jesus Christ bled and died on the cross and rose from the dead after 3 days just for us repent from your sins and leave everything and follow God bless you and Jesus loves you ♥️✝️🙏
The lady and the girl were both so smart in this
