Im from Russia and I deeply respect Snyder. I think he is the best and the most exciting sportsman in his weight. He takes part in any competitions without a fear to lose. That's his greatness! Truly Snyder has already left his mark on wrestling history👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 There can hardly be found a wrestler doing his job for so long with such success!
He won his first several golds with his impenetrable defense and super endurance. Then he lost several matches to sadulaev & others. After those losses, he moved to Pennslyvannia and studied offense under cael sanderson. He is now much more exciting to watch.

They’ve fallen off a lot since 2017.
The Cuban has great potential. If he could get better training and work on his stamina he could be great. Kyle wore him out! He was exhausted by the end of the match.
Kyle is a great competitor with great experience. He will be remembered as one of our best. Congratulations Kyle on wrestling yet another great tournament.

I love the fact Russians love the Sport of wrestling so much that they can watch and enjoy. Same here, just wish Folkstyle was in Russia. Man that style would get so much better.
In addition, I wish our Countries get more open, because both my sons wrestle in college, but one day they have children I love for them to train in Russia. It be great to share and learn.

Cuban was out of shape. He had a slick slide by but ran out of gas within 90 seconds. Should have been disqualified for grounding himself in the zone.

Torres is a better wrestler, his snap down to single or double had Kyle Snyder totally 'deer in the headlights.' Yet Snyder has a far greater will to win, and he maintained composure like a old pro and began to frustrate and tire Torres out. Snyder dragged him over into deep water, wore him down to exhaustion, Torres moved like lightning straight away, and finished some gorgeous shots, but by the final round was barely able to walk to center mat.

There is only one thing worse than tiring as a wrestler. That's letting your opponent see it from you. Snyders pace was way too much for the Cuban wrestler.
