Que el árbitro que tenía que señalar pasividad como en par de veces al Iraní y no lo hizo, el cual en el segundo tiempo estaba agotado y no podía más. There is a simple rule in sports and life. It is not over, until is over. We have seen this in many other sports, in track and field and cycling. It has nothing to do with honor but about not celebrating before it is over. It doesn't look pretty, I agree on that, but this is rule # 1 in combat sports "Defend at all times". I am Cuban and I wouldn't want him to win this way, but it is not his fault. He saw a chance and he took it. I hope they see each other again in the Olympics and Saeid will have his chance for revenge.

@@farhad815well in all fairness I don't think the Cuban was losing the fight. The referee favored the Iranian too much and the Iranian was exhausted, he couldn't fight anymore. Because he was too tired he took leave before due, payed for his mistake and that balanced the partiality of the referee.

He definitely did have the intention of deceiving. Maybe this is how Turks wrestle too? Because if an Iranian, Armenian, Georgian, Russian wrestler calls it quits 2-3 seconds early and gives up, they honor their word. They don't "change" their mind and suddenly attack the opponent when their guard is down. Deception was the only way the Cuban could win and he took advantage of the situation. Part of it was because of the terrible ref that was unfair to him and convinced him cheating was the only way to win that day.

I absolutely love Cuba, as an Iranian I always back cubans against other nations. But this was the most ridiculous wrestling match I have ever watched. The Iranian wrestler behaved in the most amateur & silly way. The reason being he cared more about looking at his coach than his rival on the mat & paid the highest price for his foolishness.
The referee was helping the Iranian in the 2nd round. The Cuban showed better skills during the fight. Well deserved!

In wrestling, taekwondo sometimes an opponent might be exhausted or injured and signal to the other that they don't want to continue in the final few seconds. The opponent in the winning position understands and honors their words. Unfortunately, Orta well-aware of this took advantage of this situation, especially considering he was going up against a rookie. Did he win? Yes. Was he clever? Sure. But karma did bite him at the Olympics. Honor and integrity are a big part of wrestling compared to other sports, combat or non-combat.

El árbitro nunca le decretó pasividad ni lo sancionó por agarrar los dedos del cubano. El puntaje al final favoreciendo al Irán no era justo y éste se retiró antes de tiempo de puro cansancio. En mi opinión ganó el mejor.

Algo parecido me paso en un combate de libre , el contrario me dio un cabezazo y lo empujé me separé y levanté la mano pidiendo un tiempo y el entrenador Terri de lucha libre del equipo de la Habana vieja mandó a seguir al contrario diciéndome después que tenía que llevar una mano a la palma de la otra para pedir el tiempo y esta fue mi última pelea pues yo era del Atlético de 10 de octubre y en ese tiempo peleaba por San Miguel del padrón no me recuerdo si íbamos con Berrio o Alfredo Aristica y en la mejor etapa de mi vida Terri no canto la pegada por parte mía a Chamiso el cual me ganó por puntos cojiendo el segundo lugar en esa etapa los entrenadores era Sala el tiguere y chuchi que teníamos el mejor equipo de ciudad habana .
